A cache check after a couple of recent DNFs proved this one has gone missing, so archiving to open up the area for someone else. If nothing pops up in a month, I've got an idea for a replacement.
Out buying necessities today so thought I would have a wander around deserted CBD as my exercise and also see if I can locate a few 'hi-vis' caches. Bonus: rain, which I find incredibly therapeutic . Hard to nail this one down, second attempt, as GPS confused by buildings. Had a good look but impeded by Private PO Box service in building, not as quiet as I would have hoped, so left it.
Our second visit and we still cant seem to find the correct spot. We will be back for another try.
I think this is about the third time I have looked here. Today it was quite quiet and I knew exactly what I was looking for. As with most finders, it wasn't the first item we looked at but the next one, only a couple of metres away.
These small containers can provide an evil challenge..today was all quite ..which made for a blissful find thanks Kiwimykl
I like this style of sculpture but it is raining so wasnt sitting around. Quick grab and admired the bikes while doing paperwork. Thanks for the placement kiwimykl
Started to look for the cache but then some muggles turned up so that was the end of it.
Tricky to get compass fix with the big buildings here.
But didn't take us too long to find this tiny fellah....
Thanks...

Found with Supernannny while down here for my family reunion.
Remember when nearby building was put up and all my rellies complained it looked like a jail.

Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on wet or plastic logs)
*We soon had another good cache located, now onto the next one!*
Took a bit of looking, but after dinner and pretty quiet in the area.

Honestly, I can't even remember how often I have been looking for this one now!!
Every time I came to Blenheim, I had a look for this one. I didn't really expect to finally find it, but just like it happens, we got some food from a supermarket, I suggested to sit here to eat and at the second place I looked, just to keep up the routine of looking for it, I SAW IT.
This one is really really hard to spot!! I am sure I had looked at this spot on a previous visit, but it is so easy to miss! Great to finally sign the log (number 25), roll back and replaced where found. I guess I will miss my routine of looking for this one on my next visit to Blenheim...

Out with geeves90 got in Freon Wellington today! Got a one in five chance of figuring this one out. Got there in the end tftc
Mum is super pleased to have found this one. And I'd still be taking a seat, then another, then another, subtly searching with no success if a fellow geocacher hadn't had spotted me. Thank you to my mystery geocacher and his daughter! I really miss not having all the Looking-Lotts onboard for these kinds of caches. At the very least the kids act as distractions to muggles. Mum on her own is lost.

P.S. Looking-Lotts are in the #20 space in the logbook. My pen was not playing ball. I tried my best, but it looks a mess! Sorry!
Eventually found it once the coast was clear;this was a tricky little blighter to find - my husband finally spotted its hiding place and managed to retrieve it. TFTC
Visiting from Ohio with Skibug9. Grabbed this after dinner—nice sculpture! SL—YFTC!
Greetings from USA.
Visiting from Ohio with Dame Deco. Found this nice hide after dinner.
Thank you Kiwimykl for placing and adding fun to the game.

Time to Fess up. I looked for this early last year with no luck, and again last night after a Curry around the corner, no luck then either. Another look early this morning and Wha Hey, this time I found it quite easily. Have to stick to the mild Korma I think, the medium is obviously dulling my senses of observation. Spent a few minutes drolling at the E-bikes through the window as well, better buy that lotto ticket. Anyway very pleasing to tick this one off the list. Cheers and TFTC
After checking the movement of rain clouds, we packed up and decided to head north for a few days' adventure! I had all active geocaches I have not found yet in the South Island loaded on the GPS, but not particular plan as we only decided that morning. We ended up finding quite a few cool caches and had heaps of fun! Making the most of an early morning start on a Sunday morning to collect a few around town before heading back south. TFTC!!
Took the train from the cruise ship and grabbed this while exploring the town. TFTC from
Found after standing around a while considering options.
So inconspicuous a local cacher approached with “are you geocaching “ greeting..lol
This was a new cache for both so both signed the log soon after.

We were in town from a cruise ship cloaked in heaps of muggles! After some searching, we were able to located this cache. It is indeed an interesting building. Thanks Kivimykl
During our 3-week journey through the South Island of New Zealand we also passed this beautiful place. A cache here and there may not be missing. Greetings from Germany by S & T147
Found on 25/01/2019.
I was up at the top of the South Island competing in the South Island Orienteering Champs. This gave me some time to grab some caches on the way there and back. It was great fun to explore a new part of the coutntry.

Cache found after a delightful lunch and coffee at the nearby Ritual Cafe. A few Muggles around, but managed to avoid attention by admiring the art work. Tftc MattyH from Tassie
After arrival at our hotel we went to the city centre for a look around. On our way we found a few caches.

With an hour to fill in while a puncture was repaired we went for a short wander to find some caches. It took us quite a while to find this cache, although it was quite obvious looking from the right direction. TFTC
On day four of our wonderful New Zealand trip Oztriaco and I waited for our campervan to be repaired. In the meanwhile we searched for some cache. I like that sculpture. Thanks for showing it to us and thanks for the cache, and greetings from Austria.
*Day 4 of our amazing trip*
While we were waiting to get on the road again, with our campervan getting a new fan belt installed, blumen-wiese and I had to kill a bit of time in Blenheim. Determined to make the best out of it, we enjoyed a long breakfast at a very nice caf´e before making a little stroll through the town. Frankly, there wasn't really much to do, but at least we were able to find a few caches. This one was a quick and easy find; and afterwards, it took a lot of self-control not to spend all of my savings at the bike shop near GZ.

Nano in work hours in main street? Sat down anyway and put my hand down and... it was there!
With barely a start on the Hidden Creatures souvenirs (4/100) and only this weekend free to do it, we set off to Blenheim to see how many we could collect. I didnt think we would get to the World Turtle but was happy with whatever we brought home. We left Friday after work so we wouldnt be eating into out travel time on Saturday. After check-in we went out to grab some McDs for dinner and after a couple of nearby caches we came here to grab the trad and our anwers for the mulit here so we could use the wifi at our accom to use the geochecker. Answers collected first and then the cache was in the first place Mum checked. So a nice super quick find. Now to get some sleep for the busy day ahead tomorrow. Thanks for your effort in placing this cache for everyone elses enjoyment.
Nice sculpture ... the bike in the window is around $5500 more than my bike is worth... suppose some one will be daft enough to buy it. Cheers for the cache
I tried for this cache one lunchtime a couple of months back during my last visit here.
No surprise I didn’t find it then but a quiet Sunday night was far more successful. Plenty of time to look.
Thanks

Whoop, whoop, we got it!
We'd had a quick look for this mid-day a few days ago, but no luck. Every time we passed by since then, I've said that we have to come back after business hours to search properly, and tonight we did! Mr 3Prettys brought the torch, Miss 3Prettys got down on the ground, and we searched! As always with this type of cache container and this type of location, Mr 3Prettys was the lucky finder in the end.
Thank you for the cache!

Heute in Blenheim angekommen und da wollten wir das schöne Wetter genießen. So konnten wir die Stadt erkunden und nebenbei auch dieses Döschen gut finden. Danke fürs Legen.
#15311. Find #58 of the day was soon spotted. Just two more needed to get to 60. TFTC.
Found with StreetWalker while caching in and around Blenheim on a beautiful autumn day. With just one full day here, we are concentrating on finding solved puzzles and some multis, as well as any trads that jumped into our route .
SW seems to be good at sniffing out nanos and today was no exception - I chose the wrong location and he went straight to the right one. Now to have a look at the nearby multi.. TFTC.

This took quite some time to locate, fortunately GZ was deserted today I as it's a public holiday, (MissTreadlightly's birthday).

In Picton off cruise ship Ovation of the Seas. Took the steam train to here. This one took a while to pin down GZ but still couldn't spot it. We widened out search until it was found. Our GPSrs settled abot 8m off. Quickly signed and replace. All good. Thanks Kiwimykl
Cache check carried out with NZDi after a recent DNF. As suspected, it is still there and all good.
Couldn't find it, came at night when we could thoroughly explore without being noticed, looked extensively on all of the hints.. bummer
A quick find by the boys while trying to not look obvious. On our way back South after a fun week at the top of the South Island
I am supposed to find two caches today, so I went out at lunchtime, grabbed one and aborted another - it was two metres from a stop-go man. With him, the queue of cars and half the road works team with little to do, I figured there would be too many eyes.
After work I had some work at Grovetown Lagoon to do, and eventually got home at dusk. Dammit - I still have my second cache to find! Back on the road again. Which one? Okay, how about that one over there, and since I am going past town, I'll attempt Rangitane House again. This is my third time here, the other two aborted due to muggles. Even this time the hunt was paused mid stride as someone came to check their post box. But I m glad to say I found it! Yay! I'll save that one over there for another day.
I have notice a number of COs mark their micro caches (for example, this one) as size unknown or other. I wonder why that is?

I think it is a good idea to have kids when looking around these public places unfortunately my kid with me wasn't little anymore but she did find I thanks paddle chick .Tftc Kiwimykl
A lovely afternoon. I have sort of attempted this before, late one night there were few people around. My husband stopped and I jumped out to look. A dodgy looking young drunk fellow stumbled by. He saw me and stopped and stared, I was all dolled up with a short dress on, not ideal really- I was just sitting at this stage. I looked at my husband and he was about to get out. I thought I had better abandon search for the time being. So today, a Sat avo, not too many about, but having a child with me, nothing is suspicious. He sat and searched, I sat at with my first reach, I touched it. Woo hoo! TFTC.
As with others I found it a pretty quick find once at the right one. Only cache I got done on this flying trip to the old home town. TFTC
Today was a day for a day trip to Marlborough and Blenheim with Flying Phoenix. We had a great day driving around the caches we found, had a good walk along the way and even found time for a very nice lunch break. Was a bit wary of the muggle factor here but Easter Monday near lunch time seemed to be an OK time to be here. Flying Phoenix made the find. TFTC, Biggles.
Out on a spending spree today with Jo, so while exiting Briscoes we decided to have a crack at this one. Had tried previously on some bitter day months ago with no success but a quick find today. TFTC
Driving past after a yoga again... very good time - still light enough to see but late enough to minimise the muggle factor. Only issue was car parking.... big "sale" at briscoes again.......
Sat and found cache... was a bit nervous about the size of the log and getting it back in again - but all was easy and back in place in no time.

Bit of a tricky find this evening with eltee291. Had to wait out a few muggles and then we seemed to look everywhere except the right spot. Finally after about 5 minutes we looked in the right spot and found it. Signed the log and replaced as found. Log is full now. Thanks for the cache!
Tough find this evening with hingis20. Looked everywhere and then hingis20 let his fingers do the walking and found it where I thought we had looked in the first place. Important thing is we got it and got to sign the log. Visiting NZ from Victoria, BC, Canada. TFTC
