Did not find your cache today but evidence of where and how it would be hidden. Think this one may need owner checking up. [xx(]
Interesting little nature walk. One does need to continue walking not to be stung by the mosquitos. Found the cace in good order. Thanks for maintaining this cache.
Day six up north and we are going caching!
Almost got me - hook, line and sinker!
Log signed and replaced. Found at 5.40pm on 4th June 2017. TFTC, fuggincahn1.

Nice little walk among the paperbark trees... and mosquitoes! Quick find for sharp eyes in this fish habitat TFTC
Showing as disabled, but gave it a go anyway. Found, as per previous logs, it was soaked, so i replaced with new log. Thanks fuggincahn1
Unfortunately I am away for work and unable to maintain this cache at this time. If another cacher would like to perform maintenance or even adopt that would be awesome.
At first I thought this one would be impossible to locate however soon I found it to my surprise closer to the bridge than I thought. Unfortunately however the log was wet preventing me from writing in it.

With this pleasant weather it was a lovely short stroll to the cache location[^]. Unfortunately the string is broken. that is why we are fearing it might be flooded away at different weather conditions!

Today we travelled to Port Douglas and then onto Cairns and headed back to Mareeba to find the caches that we had not done since our last visit and this was one of them. At GZ we made a quick find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Cairns trip 2016. Day 25. After an amazing seven day dive trip on the outer reef and Osprey reef it was back on land. I was not able to go to my hotel, so a bit of caching and touring were in order. Plenty of mozzies when you stop for a few minutes.
Thanks.

12.05 - Took the challenge today for International Geocaching Day - after 6 months of inactivity. Luckily the weather was dry and comfortable with an overcast sky. This was a very quick find - had to be as the mozzies were eating me alive. T4TC and getting me to this beautiful walk - one of many - in the pristine Cairns region.
This was to be our International Geocaching 2016 find.
Parked close to the entrance and made the short walk across the bridge to the GZ. We soon had the cache located, but the mozzies didn't take long to locate us either.
A quick signing of the log to immortalise our visit, along with a flurry of hands to keep the mozzies at bay.
Thanks for this cache. A nice quick find.

Completed this cache in record time, chased out of the bush by mosquitos. Greeted by cache owner as we left the trees. Great to meet another cacher on our travels.
Log replaced due to moisture.
Please ensure that the log is placed back inside waterproof bag and bag is sealed.

Lots of mozzies made it a struggle to open the container

Wow a mozzie bite record today, thankfully an easy find and quickly escaped. TFTC
Found it and the mozzies found us. Meeting the owner of the cache was an added bonus TFTC
Easy find. Don't forget your insect repellent or the mosquitoes will carry you away. Pleased to meet the owner or this cache. Thank you.
Visiting from South Australia for some work, with weekends free to do some geocaching. I had to wait for some muggles to pass by then made the find. TFTC fuggincahn1.

Hiya!! Well this is the first time I have had that magical *ding-you're getting close* while I was still inside the house!! I am up from Sydney visiting family at Holloways and even though I knew I had all of the Holloways Beach caches I thought I'd check just in case there were any newbies and what do you know? This cache is at the end of the street, only a few houses away, so off we all trotted with the geopooches and our Aeroguard barrier. We found it really quickly but had great difficulty opening it-even with the help of the tool that was left for that purpose (thank you!). We walked home to get something even pointier in the hope we could pry it open but no joy. Never mind, I have enclosed a pic of the cache and I'll be back in about two weeks. Maybe someone else will have had better luck by then & I can sign. Thanks very much for the unexpected cache today-it was very exciting!
