Logs
Found today with Super_Larlie. Nice fun park and grab. Had to avoid the eyes of the neighbors mowing their lawns. TFTC
I am the biggest pro. Me and my dad found it. (I found it he just stood there like an NPC) Very good
TFTC. We left a little trinket for swapping. Sarah and Bethany, and our friend Alice.
I read the previous logs before heading here, and grabbed a new container on my way out.
The muggle across the road from the street parking seemed a bit curious at my presence, right on sunset on a winter evening, but I ignored him and he soon went back inside. I initially took the wrong approach to the cache - I should have headed into the grass sooner, as the official 'entrance' was blocked off - looks like they're working on a new set of ponds or wetlands area.
So I had to backtrack a bit to get around the temporary fencing, but it was pretty straightforward. Then down the hill, up the hill, and oops, almost past the cache!
Once I was close, the hide was easily spotted. The previous logs had prepared me somewhat, but even I was surprised by the container - this sistema had long since ceased to be. The blue parts had been bleached completely white, and the container itself was just a bunch of plastic shards.
The new log provided just a few cachers earlier was still in excellent condition, so I put it in a snap lock bag, and then in my new container. Not a sistema, but close enough.
Camoflage was a bit harder to achieve with a fresh container, but I did my best!

Found the container without a lid. Have replaced where found, but upside down, to keep the paper dry. OCW Brewmaker. TFTC marcsaudi
Found with no lid and no log. Added some paper, stuffed some wood and replaced upside down as the plastic corroded away. Needs some serious TLC. TFTC
Nice and quiet here . Spotted it slightly off the fire track. Beware the bull ants . The container very brittle , might need replacing . It cache was exposed so have covered it up with a few logs . It’s roughly knee height . Left a golden paper clip.TFTC
Quick find , was fun going through the bush , tried to fix geo but does need maintance
Found but didn’t sign. Container is broken. Water inside and everything inside soaked.
Lovely area and an easy find. Cache needs maintenance and the logbook was virtually destroyed. Pics sent to CO for logging.
Was going to log "needs maintenance" but given the info available on COs profile I'd suggest this needs to be archived or adopted.
Easy find, saw some deer. Cache lid is cracked, needing repair, log was wet. Gotta luv caching!!!
Out picking up a few random caches while the missus is at the hairdressers. I had actually picked this hide out before, but was never quite sure how accessible it was. Arriving at the GZ in the geomobile, I had no reception to see an actual map, so I just followed the pointer best I could. Within 10 metres, I paused to look around. Yep, that looks likely, but was disappointed to see the container out in the open, and was badly damaged, plus was very full of water. Fortunately was able to put a John Henry on the log. Desperately needs replacing. Tried to put it in a position where it would not get any more water in it, but that’s doubtful.
#344 - full of water, so we couldn’t sign, but we did enjoy the absolutely circuitous path we took to reach this
Container is broken and the log is very wet. It was a pretty easy find, not too far away from the path. Photo attached as log was too wet to sign. Thank you!
On a geoventure with Mizcupcake today in the Wollondilly area and we came through here to pick up a couple of caches. As it’s gotten dark we grabbed our flashlights but only needed them for Starting off with this one, we parked the geomobile and started our walk. Not long into our walk we came up to gz. Noticing what I thought was the hide location, confidently I walked over and had CIH. Find a few toys inside and a ver wet log book, we decided photos would be best as signing was not possible. On the flip side Mr. Frog is loving it. Cache needs maintenance it is flooded. TFTC
Found with Littl3Vix adventuring out today. Despite the dark that had set in, the path was easy to find with our torches. Its good its not dense bush here otherwise it may not have been so easy but as it was, we found GZ and the cache quickly after waiting out a muggle who had returned home and needed to take in some shopping. A few minutes later, lights were out and Littl3Vix claimed the find. It was a soggy inside and the log was a little damp, I have attached photo as we couldnt sign. Thanks for the cache!

On the way to Camden today. Picking us a few caches shiva have gone down since I was down this way last. TFTC
The day started with an early morning event in Mittagong.
Happy Uke mentioned that she was heading up to Camden today to grab some caches and as I had no plans for the day, I asked if she would like some company.
So we headed off with Uke driving and me navigating targeting caches that would help us with the "Mystery at the Museum" event.
All up we found around 31 caches. All are signed "HUMS" as either HUSM or SMHU just didn't cut it.....LOL
Thanks to the CO's for putting these out and apologies for the generic logs.

Off to find clues... as there is a Mystery afoot!
Teamed up with Stumble's Mate for the day. It took us a few caches to decide our signing name was HUMS and boy did we "hums" putting a big dent in the caches around Camden. Thanks to all the CO's and thanks to Stumble's Mate for the wonderful company.

Today I teamed up again with marj01 for another day of caching, this time around the Narellan/Camden/Cobbity areas. We had a very enjoyable and adventurous day visiting the cache locations, finding a heap of hides but also a few DNF's along the way.
A quick find. TFTC.

Great Fun . Saw loads of kangaroos on the way to the GZ.
Fell in a wombat hole - too busy watching the meters count down !

New roads, barely visible on a map, made this more of a virtual PnG than I was expecting. So obvious a GZ on approach, I could literally ignore gps. Container also very exposed and maybe something smaller would fit in better. Tried to cover up as best I could.
An interesting drive into this new development for me today... Sutton is my partner's surname, Eliza our niece and I once lived in a development called Mackellar Rise. Cache was quite exposed and bagged split. We replaced camo which was around GZ.
A nice easy find to fill in a day on the caching calendar. Spotted the cache from the path. As I headed to it a couple of kangaroos hopped away.

Found this one a couple of months back but forgot to log! A nice little estate! TFTC
Lovely new suburb of Camden and an easy find in the end. A series of dead ends today so it was good to find this one.
A nice piece of bushland. Shame it's being encroached upon. Quick find. TFTC marcsdani.
5/6/17. 8:07 AM. Cache #5072.
4th of 11 today - Cobbitty, Kirkham & Epping.
For the first time in a while, I was able to head out early on a weekday morning, and to head out before the peak hour traffic got too bad. Decided to head southwest again, but a fair ways west of where I'd been yesterday.
Came here after "Gotta Catch Them All #12, parking on the edge of the new estate and having only about a 50m walk uphill or thereabouts to GZ. The hide was easily spotted from a distance away, so no need for any searching. SL and replaced it. Next few caches were in the nearby John Oxley Reserve, with "A stroll to lookout for #4 - Top of the World" my next find. TFTC.

Found with nissan 65 on a two night/day caching adventure from the south coast. Thanks for the cache
#4087- Our second cache for the day while out with bikerbuddy, enjoying the slight coolness of the morning compared with the past few weeks.
As we drove out here we talked about how many houses were being packed into these new housing developments- such a pity that people have little space anymore.
This was an easy find though. Thanks

I was out with the WaywardWoman to chip away at a few more caches in this area. Given the suburb name, I expected to see an old church, however we did stumble upon some kind of religious retreat not far away when my hand-held GPS, not having these new streets, bypassed the entrance to the housing development. With the car GPS in play, we were able to more easily navigate back to where we needed to be. No church now, but a nice easy cache to find. Thanks
#15 for the day.
Quick find with Bec and Ollie.
Great spot
Spotted the tell tail signs of the cache.

The neighbour across the road was in his garage and was giving me the eye. He got bored watching me drink water TFTC
Thanks for placing this cache and giving us an excuse to come to this lovely suburb
Had a great morning caching in Narellan/Camden and surrounds. Quit a few DNF, but I am getting used to that. Most caches were very well accesable and in good condition, thanks to all the owners for placing them!
