Found this on the 12th of July 2022 we didn't have premium or the account we came across accidently back then so I found it and marked it now
Been hiking and gravel cycling in area, just somehow never got here. So glad I did. Thanks BB, last time

A warm morning for a hike in the hills of Warramate, searching for BonnyBlack's WW series.
Well, I got a good tour of this great reserve today.
I have MTBed here years ago before it was banned, but never knew this dam was here.
A cute little hide indeed.

Tftc kinda had to make our own path way from the gully cache but awesome bushland and amazing views
Thanks Johnny black. Took me a while dam wild to find it.guardian Huntsman was not on duty though I came prepared with a pair of environmentally friendly Huntsman exterminators to my feet. Regards from Vic
Second weekend out, day1976 and I came back to warramate to complete the caches in the area we didn't make it to last time around.
We had to try to avoid the blackberry patches to try to get in to the dam. Once in it opened up.
A bit of wandering around, but I went back a bit further and found it. The guardian huntsman was there so I got day1976 to get the cache out for me.

With the lifting of restrictions, Ilukaperi and I once again teamed up just like the old days. She had been exercising regularly through the lock down, whilst I had done 3 short walks in the 9 weeks off and had spent most of my time drinking wine. And it showed, I was knackered by the end of the day while she still wanted to go night caching.
The main aim of the day was to finish off the caches that we hadn't found in Warramate Reserve, so we headed that way as it is just within both of our 25 k zones.
Well that was DAM hard.
Harder than I imagined.
From the Gully, we made our way back to the track, walked along that until we picked a spot that looked likely as a good place to leave the track. Followed animal tracks in and finally arrived on location.
It really is amazing how much variation this reserve has across it. I had no idea.
We spent wuite some time searching for this, with GPS coverage sketchy, we just kind of searched everywhere until Ilukaperi finally made the find. Cute container. Lovely spot. Well done!

This the hardest so far, but with some bush bashing we found what we were looking for. Thecguardian huntsmen scared us but let us sign the log.
These mountains a full of hidden mysteries. Would have had no idea this dam was here is not for the cache! What a cute little hide! TFTC
Do not follow your teenage son into this cache you will go the long way nice to see the bees drinking here and looking active !!! Thanks for showing us a beautiful part of the world !!
Spotted this out of the corner of my eye while birdwatching, and was accidentally introduced to geocaching! How exciting!
We got lucky looking for this cache, but not before the thorns had extracted a little flesh.
Approached from the Gully and we mostly made our way in without incident, except for a few blackberry strands.
We crashed our way down toward the lake’s edge, seeing the iPhone tell us we were getting closer. With 15 metres to GZ we looked out and saw a blooming big lake, and then down at our feet discovered the well-concealed cache. Suspect our phone and the trees were playing tricks.
TFTC and the adventure.

Very nice spot beside a secluded dam. I think I heard a couple of pobblebonks as well. Tftc
After completing WW the short cut it was a relief to come back down hill except for all the undergrowth we had to negotiate . The Dam is quite spectacular and the cache was easy to find . Thanks BonnyBlack
Found @14:28 #6673
This reserve has been on my list for years. Many a time glancing over the map this area was mostly void of caches, but now an epic puzzle series and trads where in play. A great series with a mixture of terrian both on and off track. With all puzzles solved sometime back between myself and ahomburg it was just a matter of when. Well finally today it was. A total of 6 hours was spent meandering around the park and upto the trig point and back. All caches found, some with very effective camo that made the discovery take longer then expected. Big thanks to the CO for showing me around this impressive flora and fauna reseve with ahomburg today. Total of about 16km and over 25,000 steps according to fitbit. Good stuff. [^]
Now on the return leg is was time for some off track approach to GZ. Great fun, quite enjoyed this section of park today.

Find #9464
After having finally having made my way through the WW puzzles with confirmed coordinates for all, finally my caching partner in crime sedgwickDave and I finally had a free day to hit the hills of Warramate and more. We had a big day with over 15km of walking and over 600m of vertical ascent, we certainly worked hard for our terrain stars. The weather was mainly pretty good, overcast with the sun occasionally showing itself and also a couple of very quick showers. It was a great day.
I spotted this one from a few metres away. It might need some TLC as a previous finder has sadly left a sticky lolly in the cache. Removed the lolly but its a bit sticky inside.
Many thanks to BonnyBlack for the cache. TNLN.

Well that's a little different! And a beautiful little spot. The dam is rapidly running out of water. Need some rain soon. Thanks.
SP headed that way and I went that way...turns out his way was quicker. Nicely made little container here...bugs are out in full fury too. Practised my Cherokee animal tracking skills here as we trekked out.
Thanks BonnyBlack
Thanks BonnyBlack
As we approached we decided to take different directions around the dam. As luck would have it, it turned out my approach was slightly quicker and it was good to find this nicely made little container. It is a little feature that we otherwise would not have known was here.
This was found with abl973 while exploring this great park that we hadn't visited before. Thanks to BonnyBlack for the cache.

Water, water, everywhere
And not a drop to drink
Somehow I'd forgotten to fill up my drink bottle this morning
I'd taking it out of the cupboard
Put it on the bench
Chucked it in my backpack
But failed to fill it full of that life-giving H20
Just when you think you're starting to get a hold on this whole hiking malarkey...
So having been walking for a few hours I was starting to feel a little parched
So much water around, but naught to drink
The moisture on the raspberry prickles laughed at me deliciously
The murky dam water, brown and thick, looked ever so tempting
That ancient mariner had it easy
And not a drop to drink
Somehow I'd forgotten to fill up my drink bottle this morning
I'd taking it out of the cupboard
Put it on the bench
Chucked it in my backpack
But failed to fill it full of that life-giving H20

Today while doing some training and skme fitness for my hockey season that is about to begin myself and my lovely GF RoxyP decided to come back to this awesome area and do some more of the local caches....
This hike up to the oasis that was in the middle of nowhere was also fantastic.
Cant believe this series has not got more recognition as it is truely a cachers dream with every different aspect involved.
You have captured my type of cache perfectly and i thank you !
I am loving this series!
Thanks for the adventure!!

Wow, you would have never known this was even here, and would of have walked right by it. But as soon as you got closer the "bonk bonk" of the frogs you knew you were close to water... took us a while to even get to the GZ and the hint helped us, after a lot of bush bashing through here.
These caches are well worth the walk, we've been here before (years ago) but was nice to be able to get off the beaten track and see things that we didn't even know were here (such as the dam and quarry). The kids had a ball and sadly we didn't get to finish the series (ran out of time) but we will be back.
A note prob a good idea to wear boots or hiking shoes as our feet were very wet, some very slushy and slippery areas but so much fun.
Saw an area where one cache was with over 30 lizards (yes the kids sat there and counted them all), a echidna skeleton, some turtle shells to name a few things. Thanks BonnyBlack for the caches.. one reason why l love caching as it takes you to places you never knew were even there. And away from the ratrace... so peaceful here today

By this time it was it was uncomfortably close to dark and I didn't relish tramping around unfamiliar gullies with my rapidly dimming torch while no-one knew where I was, so I turned away from a couple of more easterly trads and followed the frog-song to this one. I made use of the hint here and a nifty little structure was soon revealed. Thanks BonnyBlack!
Hi Bonnyblack, thanks for bringing me here once again. Trailstevo and I headed out late tonight with half a plan. Initially stumbled at the bridge works blocking our access, so went the really long way round and parked the car. Set off from the car at 9.15pm, first wombat took 100m to spot, then the first cache, second cache with some creative night time path making, then across the boggy grass, over the hill to the damn. Spotted a few Roos, another wombat, and what we thought could be a dragon, nope.... Turned out to be a deer. Saw 3 deer in total. Picked up the last of the cache and back into car after 2 hrs. Bit fresh and windy out tonight, but as I tell my friends (who think I'm made going out at night), you don't see much wildlife in you front room! TFTC
Fun trek in the dark to pick up the WW series. Cross country through puddles. Tftc
After an impromptu team up with Pappillon4506 he headed home and n0w0rries and I continued on to complete the other WW caches. The sun was rising as was the fog. The area looked like it belonged on a postcard. Some lovely photographs later and we were on the move once again to find the next cache.
Thank you for bringing me out to this beautiful part of the world. And thank you for the cache.

Things were starting to get quite difficult by this cache. I was now *pouring* out sweat from the exercise. I was still traversing the foot of the hill and had to navigate my way through blackberry bushes, small trees, and eventually in to the vicinity of GZ. A bit of a search later and the obvious cache was spotted. I did my best to lose grip and fall down in to the dam but unfortunately it didn't happen. I heard lots of frogs but didn't feel like getting too close to the water. Instead opting to climb to higher ground and push my way through more vegetation in search of the quarry.
After parting company with Papillon4506, Ruverbug Jam and I continued on, picking up the rest of this great series on the way out.
As the sun was rising over the water and reeds, the mist was lifting off the water.
A pretty dam, we didn't see many kangaroos but their scat was rife on the ground.
From open grass lands with rolling hills to wooded glades and on to the creek where the ferns and fallen bark give off the smell of rain forest, it has it all.
So peaceful here, thank you for placing this series of caches to highlight such a diverse area.

FTF My fifth and last find in this series today and my third FTF, well worth getting a little damp for. Even found a BonnyBlack pathtag to add to Goeturtle37's collection. Log signed and returned to it's hide it's time to head back to the car. I almost didn't come out today with the weather being wet as it is, but I am so glad that I did. It has been a great day out, even if I did have to pull up a few times to catch my breath before moving on again. And now as I am logging my finds I see that 3 more in the series have been published since I arrived home. Hmm....... Thanks for bringing us here BonnyBlack, and thanks for the caches.
