Like other recent searchers, I came away empty handed. Photo sent to CO as I can see a potential telltale
We are on another short (three day) caching holiday in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains. Hoping to collect some of the new Puzzle, Wherigo, and Letterbox caches, and a new Adventure Lab, that have appeared around Warragamba since our last visit to the area. Will also be returning to the lower Blue Mountains for a couple of new Adventure Labs and a challenge cache, and revisiting a few DNFs from the previous trip, mostly NE of Penrith. Photos will be uploaded to some logs on our return to home base.
Today (day 3) we were caching in the lower Blue Mountains, then around St Mary's, and finally at Beaumont Hills & North Kellyville on our way back home.
Well we got lucky on the last one (c.a.r.e.s 2 (v2)), but no such luck on this nearby one at the BMX track. Looked all over & under the metal light pole, if that's where it's suppose to be, but nothing cache-like was found.
BMX Bandits was filmed on the Northern Beaches, and the shopping centre scenes are at Warringah Mall, which is our local shopping centre only 5 minutes from home. The big building they ride around in was the old Mynor cordial factory (now demolished) that used to be next to Warringah Mall. TFTH anyway GeoMonster10.

Nice one thank you. The track was fenced off but the cache was outside, and helpfully someone had pushed part of the fence over so I could still have a fun little night ride around. I like caches that bring you to cool places like this so have a fav
School Kids everywhere today. But perseverance paid off. Strong Fingernails soon had us a Cool Cache

A nice easy cache.
I came out here on a cool sunday afternoon to go for a walk and grab a cache in the process.
There were quite a few kids enjoying the track when i got there but i was still able to make a quick find.
Thanks.

Parkrun first at Whalan reserve and then caching around Penrith, picking up a lot of solved puzzles and wherigo's. Great weather made for good progress.

Found with Chippyddd. No room for SWAPS or drops. Cache and logbook are dry. SL TFTC TFTH Replaced cache as found ready for the next cacher. Thanks and cache on.
A quick find by geo buddy Mystic Seer, Geo Dog and Rabbit. SL. TFTH TFTC Thanks goes to the CO for bringing us to this location.
Was looking in completely the wrong place but then remembered another hide by GeoMonster and saw something that looked slightly out of place ...bingo!
Thanks for the cache

Having found c.a.r.e.s. 2(v2) I began to walk back to the geomobile on the other side of the locked gate. Not knowing this part of Sydney at all I'd looked at google maps at home and written some notes. I'd written, 'drive on' and park near the BMX track.
Well I couldn't drive on but I turned around and began to walk back to c.a.r.e.s. and on towards the railway line which I could see in the distance.
Once I reached the BMX track I found a muggle father with three small boys learning how to ride the hills and valleys and really enjoying themselves. This looks like a great facility - good work council.
The co-ordinates were excellent and I found a familiar type of hide at GZ. Soon had log signed and walked back to the geomobile.

Found it. I never seen this track being used but today there were heaps of kids using it just for fun. Non raceing
Wooohooo got this one . Very clever hiding spot !! Also discovered a bmx track on the way lol
Found the little plastic bag nearby with a magnet attached that the log would have been in so placed it back in before replacing the cache. TFTC
Off to Penrith to pick up my whipper snipper from a service centre and while out that way why not look for a few caches.
OK a bit of a drive but that's OK and this guy was on my short list to check.
A short wander and then I spotted what I Was seeking but I noticed that a little bit of maintenance is required with this guy. Maybe not the cache owners responsibility but I think as they are using this structure to place their cache they could fix the problem with a simple screw.
Thanks guys for placing this cache for others to find.

Out for another epic days caching with marj01; this time around Erskine Park, Orchard Hills, Kingswood, St Marys and Ropes Creek, suburbs that I would never have visited if I wasn't for geocaching. We found lots of caches; mainly nanos, minties and a few small sistemas plus a good old ammo can.
A big thank you to all the CO's who placed and maintain these caches.

I've seen similar examples before so I found it straight away, however there was no log in the cache so I added a piece of paper.
#695 - quick and easy find, nice Camo, log is wet and most previous logs have disappeared.
Unsuccessful at this one - it was raining so thought no one would be there. Nope, quite a few out. Tried to wander toward hide when no one was looking (as I thought they were packing up to go). Looks like upon seeing me they changed their minds , and then I noticed someone obviously keeping step with me about 5-8 metres away. Jeez, left for another time.
Being early in the morning there were no muggles around. The cache was found quickly and easily. Was unable to sign the log as it was full. The cache was then replaced as found. Thank you GeoMonster10 for placing this cache.
Quick lunchtime find after a short walk through the deserted park today. thanks Geomonster10 for placing this cache

Fortunately this was a quick find as there were a few people around using the BMX track. Good camo TFTC

I'm not sure if the CO did a brilliant camo job on this one, or if the area recently had some maintenance work where the cache was not noticed and got a new paint job. It is the exact colour of the surrounds!
Thanks

I read some previous logs and got the wrong idea for this cache but soon changed tact and found the well camoed cache. Did the legals and replaced as found. TFTCM

This was the second find for the day. After finding 'Parks Platform', I headed home but then decided to try this cache as it was only a short detour. I wanted to park as close as I could to GZ but there were several gates blocking the road for vehicles. It looked a Learner driver was also using the area for driving practice. I parked the car about 150m away from GZ and walked across. I then realised there were a few kids on their bikes using the track and my phone battery had displayed the low battery warning. I decided to have a quick look around and fortunately, something caught my eye - it was the camo of the cache. SL. TFTC.
