### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

Hi there GeoYogster,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so the cache is being temporarily disable - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**You do need to respond to this enquiry in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache to check, repair, replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log:-** Reviewers are not mind readers (more's the pity), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
You need to post a note to the page (within 14 days) explaining the situation and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
Be sure to indicate **the actual date that you expect to have it fixed** so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please **post a Write Note log every 4 to 6 weeks,** so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another Geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
Honestly, it's better for you to decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
Thanks for your cooperation,
Bunjil

Another DNF to add to the list. Certainly arrived at an area that matched the hint, but alas no cache could be found. Shame, as a multi is always a bit of fun....
Thanks anyway...
Thanks anyway...
I was planning to concentrate on getting more Multi caches this trip and here was one. The information to work out the coordinates was easily found and led me to a likely location. Unfortunately despite scratching around the base of the tree and getting scratched by the hawthorn bushes also at the base of the tree I gave up. It might be worth the CO checking this one.
Unfortunately our first DNF for the day. Searched around GZ but no luck. To good for us today.
Found by Rebel Acts
With two Events in Avoca, I decided a three day trip would be great, That would give Me time to explore the area and do a handful of the many caches on offer in this region. The weather was fantastic with nice sunny days but the nights sure were chilly with ice on the windscreen each morning. I saw many places and learnt a lot of history on the trip. The Main towns I visited were Avoca, Maryborough, Talbot, Clunes and Creswick.
This was one of the caches I found in My travels. A nice multi, they just dont build buildings with character like this anymore.
Thanks GeoYogster for the cache.

Found on a family history trip to the Victorian goldfields.
It has now got to the stage where we have over 750 draft logs waiting to be completed. These range back over at least a couple of years.
We are not a fan of generic logs but with everything that has been on our plates recently we reluctantly have to admit this may be the only way we can get this back log cleared. If your cache is in our backlog it usually means it is one that we wanted to spend more time creating a much more bespoke log than this. But we are not managing to achieve that goal. So in the interests of getting the backlog cleared we have decided to resort to this long form of TFTC as a way of getting a large number of them cleared.
We apologise for the lack of commentary specific to your cache or event. We are somewhat targeted in what we go after. There are unfounded caches within a few kilometres of our home which we published before we started 8 years ago. We have just never got around to o looking for them. We like unusual cache types, puzzles in particular, older caches, and tend to target a much more wider group of caches when we travel. We like remote caches and caches that bring us to an interesting place. It is likely that this cache found its way into our find list because it fits one of these criteria.
As cache owners we appreciate the effort that goes into hiding and maintains caches so thank you for that.

We are in Ballarat for a few days to complete the GeoTour. At the posted coordinates we spotted a nice bluestone cottage and collected the required information. A little bit of back track and we discovered the cache. Thanks to GeoYogster for the cache.
Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch. Stopped to collect the required information, then made our way to GZ to make the find. Liked the Bluestone wall of the building at the first waypoint. TFTC
Cache in good order after such a long space without a find. Been looking at this one for a long time and today was the day. TFTC
Caching in the area we picked up a few caches in the area and this was one of them.
A straight forward multi, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

After a swim this morning with the family it was time to make the most of a few more hours of my RDO and clear up a few icons on my map and turn them into Smilies. A nice easy multi to clear up my map of Miners Rest. Thx GeoYogster for this one, I often wondered about the history of these old houses, thx for the history lesson. Cheers
Today, after 3 days at Raglan with chooknchunk, Hatzofff and I are geocaching our way back to Melbourne for three nights before heading back to Queensland.

Mr jiwilly was out and about with work today and snuck by on a "work related task" to grab a picture and the details for the puzzle. Quick enough to work out and once everyone was home this evening, we jumped in the car and headed out to grab it. Boys swapped a few items in there. Signed, replaced and on our way. TFTC, SL TSLS
Quick and easy puzzle. Just picking it up while getting others on our wishlist. Tftc.
Heading west for a week off and taking the back roads rather than the Hwy to find a few smileys.
Checked out the old Bluestone house, got what was required then worked out the maths and headed off to GZ.
Parked the Geocruiser and soon signed the log.
Thanks GeoYogster TFTC.

We did find this a very different multi that we did enjoy doing. Soon had the numbers for GZ.
Found the cache without any trouble. It was lovely to see the Bluestone house, too - thanks for bringing us here to see the historic house. What a job it must have been to build it and the fence! This cache was well planned and implemented.

This log is to tidy up a mess I made with GSAK . I forgot to apply the template so my finds were published with a nonsensical log.
Rather than try and edit all the logs I post this not with what the log should have been.
My apologies for the confusion caused.
A few days away with Freddo, e.gregory1 and The White Dog Gang.
Fun was had by all. Not too many dnfs
Most logs signed as FETT.
Thanks for all the caches.

Cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for a fun cache guys. Love your work. We signed the logbook. Warning this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise.
Found on a short, post-Christmas sojourn to Victoria with Freddo, Team Waldron and thewhitedoggang that involved plenty of driving, cycling, walking and even some boating and wading.
The weather was on our side (albeit a little warm at times), which made for some great caching. There were plenty of varied finds, with some excellent and often tricky hides and and just a few DNFs. We signed most logbooks ‘F.E.T.T.’
Thanks GeoYogster for the cache.

Out enjoying a lovely Ballarat summers day...dodging the showers and torrential downpours
I managed to keep relative dry while hunting down a few grabs before and after visiting the Doc and some shops for Christmas pressie purchases.

On my way from Adelaide to the Parkville mega, with buddies. Whilst in and around Ballarat we have generally been signing the logs "GAMBS" or "GWAMBS", or using our individual stamps, or writing our full caching names (depending on log size/ time at GZ etc).
GAMBS stands for: GoodLook, AnyMules, Muff 1, Brisal5 and SA Sewer Rats....GWAMBS includes Wozzle68 who joined us on our caching escapades - it is always awesome to travel with our very own PAF
What an awesome few days we've had so far!!!

Day 2 of our epic 12 day / 10 night trek to the Parkville Mega in Melbourne.
The constant was my travel companions for the entire trip, - Anymules and S.A. Sewer Rats but we were joined by almost local cacher Bushfire for a lot of the escapades So to save space in the logs we usually just wrote our initials BABS to save space. As we met and cached with other teams along the way more and more initials were added.
Today we had the pleasure of the compney of Muff1, Goodlook, Wozzle68 and later Bushfire and Suscoe. So today we became GWAMBS. [:o)]
After a morning paddle it was time to say goodbye to bushfire and Suscoe and head up into the forest and grab the Christmas down under series, and head for the challenge cache series. [:X] That done and it was now time to cache our way back to our digs. [8)] We have been chasing multi chaches all trip, something to do with some challenge caches me thinks! Another one crossed off the list.

Well it has taken us some time to return and give this multi another shot, this time we got the calculations correct and were able to find the cache. SL TFTC
TFTC. We had just found the nearby puzzle cache. As we drove back toward Ballarat we stopped to obtain the required information. A quick calculation and a short drive and the cache was quickly to hand. Another multi toward a challenge cache.
Found with LouiseAnn.
Heading to Ballarat for a big birthday and not inspired by the maps offerings, I made a plan to just do multis.
Louise and I have a bit of a history with multis. She introduced me to the concept of Multi March and I made her a challenge cache as a reward.
So I made a list of the multis that neither of us had done. It ended up being 22. We ended up finding 12 of them plus a trad that was in close proximity to one of them.
We set off mid morning from Melbourne and headed to the one furthest North and weaved our way South until it was time for dinner.
It was a lovely day for it and finding multis is a bit more interesting than finding trads.
The countryside was peaceful and aside from a recent signature we met no others on our journey.
Thanks to the cache owners for placing this cache. Tftc

Find #1682 for me. Found at 2:40 pm while in Ballarat for the St. Patrick's Day event and White Night festivities the previous day/night. I'd gathered the required information at the posted coordinates ages ago but for whatever reason hadn't got round to making the final find until today. This was a quick find for me on a very windy day to be out geocaching. Thanks for this historical series GeoYogster, and thanks for the cache!
#14061. Our first full day of caching in the area. After riding the Linton-Smythesdale Trail this morning in such pleasant conditions, we detoured past our accommodation to stock up on warm clothes and headed to Learmonth and surrounds for a few afternoon caches. Oh Ballarat, I do hate your weather, I really do!
A beautiful house and beautiful bluestone fences too. Very nicely kept. Gathered the required information, got some new numbers and off we drove to GZ, thankfully away from curious eyes. Last find for the day. We may be back this way tomorrow.
Thanks GeoYogster

It has been ages since we (BettyBoo3747 and I) came to Ballarat and completed the BSRT. Since then it has grown somewhat, but we hadn't returned. This weekend we have teamed up with Chewin (Howard from Howjen567) to correct this oversight.
We started with BSRT, and completed them by lunchtime, had lunch in Smythesdale and headed for Lake Learmonth. Collected a few others in our travels.
A very nice heritage house there with its blue stone wall.
We had a couple of muggles playing over the fence, but fortunately GZ was elsewhere.
Thanks, Robmc.

Yes, if there's a clean the cache may disappear too.

Had to come into Ballarat early this morning, so decided to take the scenic way home via a handful of caches that we have been eyeing off for ages now. Found the required info then made our way to GZ for a quick easy find. TFTC and for showing us these heritage sites GeoYogster.
A cold and windy day, so this was the last for the day. Light was fading, so glad we got the numbers correct. All good at GZ. TFTC
Interesting multi. Clear and easy instruction - accurate co-ords. Shame at GZ that there were still a pile of dumped clothes and rubbish - doesn't council see these?????
Data collection at WP1 was straightforward. With the coordinates for GZ calculated, we headed off to GZ where accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition despite a large amount of water laying around the area. Thanks GeoYogster for the cache.
This was a nice multi that we could do without making a mess of the numbers. The bluestone wall opposite looked good as well. After that a short drive had us at GZ where we found the cache. Well hallelujah! This place also needs a bit of a CITO as some inconsiderate person has dumped a whole heap of old clothes there as well.

They say it's all fun and games til someone losses an eye (well actually it's an old quote that I heard years ago on a Metallica DVD that's stuck with me because he said 'losses' not 'loses', lol). Lucky for Sean.75 the stick hit his cap and not his eye!! . Jenno3, Sean.75 and I headed this way for your multi today. After a quick look for the info we soon had coords entered and we were on our way. I enjoy multis, even though I usually stuff up at least 1 number!! Today though, the number gods were in my favour and not one number was wrong! Woohoo!!! Tftc and highlighting the area with your placement.
A multi trip with the gang today. Normally one of us stuff up the numbers but a unanimous answer had us at gz in no time. Almost a fatality and it wasn't me for a change, had the cache signed sealed and hidden again. Thanks for the multi and cache
After meeting up with jenno3 and kenare today, we had this one solved pretty quickly. Cigc. Tftc
Sorted out the necessary numbers and ventured to GZ where the cache was located . This was a nice easy one to solve. Very impressed with the blue stone construction , the " old tradies" certainly knew their craft. Thanks GeoYogster.
Interesting building and straightforward multi...just the way we like them. Thanks GeoYogster, found today with Motndarg.
I did part one of this a week or so ago when I was in Miners Rest. Fast forward to today and a gap in my caching calendar. The kids and I headed off early but it started pelting down with rain. Not to be deterred I said let's just have a look exactly where it is. We arrived and master 7 was keen so made the made dash into the tree and soon retuned with the cache - not to be outdone master 5 insisted on returning it but only master 7 could show him where it goes. So they both headed back into the tree and came back happy, smiling and wet! Many thanks - nice simple cache

After a fabulous weekend of caching and Events, we left St Arnaud early this morning in order to avoid the predicted poor weather and also to give ourselves time for a few cache breaks on the way home. We are getting the idea that Diggers Rest has similar origins to Miners Rest.
Our thanks to GeoYogster for placing this cache.

Found by Mary & David at 1350. A most enjoyable slice of Miners Rest. We have enjoyed them all and appreciated the story and history on all your caches. A FP from us. Our thanks to GeoYogster.
While up in Ballarat for a few days I was joined by abl973 to head out for a day of caching. It was a cool and wet day, but thankfully the rain mostly held off. This was an interesting piece of history to highlight and an ideal location for a multi. Everything worked well and we found the nicely sized container at GZ.
Thanks for this enjoyable multi.

01/10/2016 4:01:00 PM - Heading out of Melbourne this morning it absolutely hosed down with rain where I joined up with my caching friend Square_Pegs for the first day of October and stopped off here to find this cache.
Overall it was a soggy cool day but being out this way was better than hanging around in Melbourne.
Thanks GeoYogster for bringing me here. This was a good find with one of the bigger caches we found today.

Found while out enjoying the day, the weather and the adventure as we explored the area, TFTC
What else do you do on your birthday but find a souvenir with your best bud (boydclan)
My education is complete, now I know what a Sewerage Valve looks like!!! Quick drive up the road and the cache was in hand then back home to the heater again. TFTC
An interesting material to build from and a nice enough house too. I made the obvious mistake with the calculations but it mattered little in the end.
After the first couple of finds and a lovely hot coffee to warm us up it was off to hunt for other caches in the Ballarat area.
This guy was on our list and parking close by we gathered the required info, and ashort drive and the find was soon in hand, signed and returned.
Thanks GeoYogster for placing this cache.

Up in Ballarat for what is our weekend to visit family as well as trying to clean up all the new caches the lovely locals have produced lately. Dealing with the typical winter weather we made sure we were rugged up with waterproof jackets to try and keep warm and dry as we jumped in and out of the car in the company of Bushfire and our helper for the day Wozzle68. After smashing out MazzyMay's caches we headed out to Miners Rest to clean up the area once more. Its good to see some puzzles and a multi here.
With both puzzles pre solved , it just meant a quick pick up then gather the info for the multi.
Thanks GeoYogster for the simple multi, one we didn't manage to stuff up lol

Suscoe decided to do a last minute trip to the Creswick area today in search of golden treasures in the form of caches.
The weather forecast was looking pretty cold and wet but we decided to go anyway.
What else could you do on a day off but cache, so we rugged up with beanies, coats and boots and off we went.
We had gale force winds, driving rain, sunny breaks, hail, sleet and a touch of snow all in one day, what more could you wish for when there were terrific caches to be found.
A nice multi and we soon gathered the info and enjoyed looking at the bluestone!!!
Cache found safe and sound.
Thanks to GeoYogster for this hide.

Good to complete Miners Rest again. Very damp at GZ after tge rain and tes I stepped in the puddle, thanks very much. TNLN TFTC.
Last cache for the day, nice quick multi to finish off a successful day out. TFTC
A fairly cold day for caching in Ballarat, but after a bit of shopping with Bogonghazy, we took Tess the geodog and off we went.
It took two goes to get this one right as BH had the wrong disc to start with. Eventually ended up with a correct set of numbers that led us straight to the cache. Thanks for the history GeoYogster. A fave of course.

A nice but cold day in Ballarat brought Sorceysal and I and Tessie the geodog out for a day's caching.
Now if this was my cache, I'd have put the word round, as in round disc, in capitals.
Joking of course, as I need to fully take the blame here for taking my figures off the rectangular one, and leading SS and I up the wrong muddy lane, and into a paddock.
Back we went, and it was SS who noticed MY error, and once decent numbers were entered, we made a quick find.
All in fun, thanks again GeoYogster, for the history, and the cache, adding a fave!

It was 3 degrees foggy and following a overnight frost, absolutely freezing around here.
Luckily the maths was easy which I could do from my car and after a short drive I found the cache in good order.
Thanks for the history of this area.

Just missed FTF but thats how the game is. Still enjoyed our freezing little walk. TFTC
{FTF} Thanks for giving me an excuse to do some geocaching on this cold and windy day GeoYogster. When I pulled up at the posted coordinates I almost lost my car door the wind was so strong.
Anyway thanks for the straightforward multi.
