Unfortunately the home of this cache has been removed. New location to be scoped out soon.
I was antsy to get out of the house, after a light meal there was still an hour of sunlight left and I made a move and went out with Hoppy.
There was nothing on the object and I had a pretty good idea what I was looking for. Searched 5 minutes all over and looked around the geound just in case. It might have gone missing.

Over from Adelaide to see the inlaws celebrate Cachemas day in a few days time. Log book full, unable to sign it.
Found with Nissan 65. Headed up last night from the south coast for a few days caching. Thanku for the cache.
Bahahhaha gotcha little fella! Out with Gliss! on a bit of a night hike. So great to enjoy the views and stretch the legs. Thanks for the cache!
What a great view - perfect cache for my last jewel souvenir (I think it’s the last) tftc
#7085. I flew over to Australia on Sunday and spent several days in Sydney. Now I have driven over to the ACT (the challenge capital down under). I love challenge caches and once I saw how many were set up in ACT I booked three nights of accommodation to ensure I had enough time to grab them all. I am then heading to the Wollongong Mega event on Saturday. Picking up a few traditional caches close to the Challenge series.
Nice quick find here. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. As always they take longer to put the log back than they do to find. Thanks LisetteR73 for the cache. Greetings from New Zealand.

Day Thirteen in Queanbeyan.
BettyBoo3747 and I listed the UGC series for a lot of to'ing and fro'ing around the Northern Suburbs today (can't they build a straight street in the ACT?). We also collected a few trads for our Mapping.
We took out morning tea out to this seat, and enjoyed the cache.
Thanks, Robmc.

#15798. Day 13 of our 2 weeks holiday in the ACT and surrounds. We are staying at Carwoola.
Up and at 'em early again today. When is this going to end? Off to do the UGC Series in the northern suburbs. I think I have seen enough of these streets in these suburbs over several hours. More than enough zigging and zagging (even though we had a list of order to make things easier). It didn't help that our GPSrs don't have a lot of the new streets in these new suburbs so lots of referring to the phone as well today. Canberra will forever be known in my head as Bison City. Quite worn out from bison hunting since we arrived for the Mega.
This was our morning tea stop just before 11.00am. From the hint and other logs I had a fair idea what this was going to be. We found a bright green one just the other day. All good with cache and contents here today.
Thanks Princess_Bogan

With BomEm on a caching walk around my new digs.
Had to wait for muggle at GZ to vacate before we could hone in to the cache.
After a quick look in some likely places, cache wassoon in hand.

Found with Smittengranny and Kittykatch on a rather warm day out and about. Trying to pick up a few before it gets too hot. TFTC
Signed PB here. Very funny container. Second of its type I've found. The other on the Southside. Tftc.
Love it. Our first of its kind and found by my eldest. Really need some tweezers in the gc bag.
Despite the freezing cold night, I had collected a nearby cache and decided to just get another. What a crazy fool am I! So I walked down from the hill and found gz. One look and I guessed what type of cache this one might be. I began my search, flashing my torch all over: up, down and all around. I soon had the cache in hand and what a "nice" surprise. I hadn't seen one of these in the wild yet but I had seen pictures. Of course, the real difficulty with these is getting the log out. I'm glad I brought my tweezers tonight. I signed the log SchM. And I think I may have written 30/8 as the date. It seems I'm a day behind! TFTC
I'm nicely retired. My lady still works and her kids are back at school. So I have time during the week for caching, and to keep up my daily fix of caches, for my 365- and 366- day challenges, and for sanity.
What a day. I’ve delivered my lady to work and her kids to child care. I’ve loaded up the GeoSchnauzers and headed for the northside, to see my ex-work mate for brunch. We’ve had a good brunch and catch-up, and now I’m off caching. It ended up a good day, with four finds and five of the UGC series found and signed off as notes, together with several walks for the GeoPuppies. This is our last find. I was going to walk up here from Crazy Critter 6 down the hill, but the wind was very cold, and even the low-slung dogs in their fur coats were unhappy. So I decided to leave this one, but as we were driving off, the sun came out, so we parked on the street at about the level of this cache, and the dogs and I walked to it, and quickly found it. Cunning. TFTC.
I’ve been reading DarkSideDan’s logs. I’ve found out about the Author Badge for getting an average one hundred words per log. I usually do decentish logs (in size anyway), so I looked up my stats and found my average log size is 98 words (now 99 according to Project GC) . I don’t know how they do the rounding, so I’ll assume the worst, and say I have 3 words (now 2) per log to make up. That’s around 8000 words, giving a generous allowance for notes, DNFs, problem logs etc. Hopefully I can do that by the end of the year. I might even write a program to calculate my average myself ….

Found with AlphaDeltaIndigo, Brewmaker and The Bebes.
I have been working towards a self imposed target, with the goal of the upcoming Giga
Event in Cincinnati OH to be my 4,000th milestone. Needing in excess of 200 caches before I fly out to the United States of America in just over a week’s time, I hatched a plan to spend a weekend in our Nation’s Capital to help me reach the required number. I floated the idea out to a few geo-buddies and there was immediate interest, so we made the necessary arrangements and were eager to get going.
It was an early morning start on the Friday. I picked up The Bebes on the way through and we swung by the newly published ‘Whites Creek Wetlands’ Earth Cache (GC7MW51) in Annandale for a quick First To Find to start the trip on a positive note. Continuing on to Brewmaker’s, we hopped in the Brew-mobile, with the bikes on the back, and hit the road towards Canberra. The main target for the first day was to complete the section of the Canberra Centenary Trail (CCT) from Hall to Bonner. It was cold, windy and a little wet, but the mountain bikes ate up the trail and the riders conquered the mountain. In the evening, AlphaDeltaIndigo bused in from Sydney and we relaxed in the warmth of a pub to watch a thrilling Swans victory on the big screen.
The Saturday was almost as full on but the riding was a little easier than the first day. We cycled the length of the Majura Cycleway series and back again, in similar weather conditions, picking up as many caches as we could along the way. After a surprisingly good dinner at a veggo restaurant in Dickson, we continued driving around town to finish up a long day with some more finds.
We woke on our final day of the trip to sunshine and slightly warmer weather. The main objective for the Sunday was to complete as many caches of the University of Geocaching Canberra (UGC) series as we could, as well as others in that area. We struggled on a few (and had to log a Did Not Find on some) but otherwise did well in making a dent in the series. On the way back to Sydney in the evening, we made pit stops in Penrose and Pheasants Nest.
A fun and successful weekend caching with great company. Thanks For The Caches to the respective Cache Owners.

Day 3 of our weekend in Canberra to clear out some of the trails and series. OCW The Bebes, AlphaDeltaIndigo and JordsAU using cycles as our mode of transport. But today we used the Brewmobile as we attempted to grab as many of the UGC series as we could plus any trads/puzzles/multis aong the route. Some great hides and interesting views along the way of the ever-expanding Canberra. Thanks to all the COs for placing these hides. TFTC

Our third and final day in Canberra before heading back to Sydney. In the Brewmobile today we hoped to pick up as many of the UGC series as we had time for, plus any other hides nearby.

Decided to go for a walk after work. This is going to be a great area for exercising once it's fully developed. St the moment though the area has yet to establish gardens and finish building.
This was a very quick find. It stands out so I'm not sure that someone before me has put it back in the right place.
Unfortunately my pen chose to run out here to. Photo attached.

I searched all over the pristine GZ for something disgusting but it was sparkling clean. I thought perhaps I had the wrong thing in mind when I suddenly found it lying on the ground. Placed it according to coords and then stopped awhile to contemplate and admire the view.

Came to Gungahlin on this reasonably hot day on a mission - a mission to go on a drive in my air conditioned car and to find a major portion of the UGC caches that I was applicable for! After parking near the path, I dashed across the field towards GZ for a very quick find - familar container, but definately a classic! Lovely views of the developing landscape! TFTC LisetteR73!
A hot Saturday at the beginning of the Christmas break and the only sensible thing to do was get on the bike and find geocaches. But where? A lot of staring at the geomap and a circuit through the edge of Nicholls, the top corner of Ngunnawal, the north-east of Moncrieff and most of Casey emerged.
A cute little cache after taking the slightly longer way to avoid the savagely barking dog on the other path. Easily found, but not by sight, so only realised the trick afterwards. Luckily I had brought my log retrieval device this time, so avoiding the hassles of a couple of recent, similar ones. TNLNSL TFTC

Out for a spot of night-caching with my fellow owl CBRChic. Tonight we hit some new local caches in Gungahlin. IT was pretty cool out tonight, the car was saying 8C but there was a slight breeze to make it seem a bit cooler. There was a full moon tonight which made navigation just a bit easier.
Couldn't find this one.
Thanks anyway Princess_Bogan

DNF. My Garmin led me to a seat. I guessed it might be a 'chewable' nano, I looked the seat over, but I wasn't in the 'pink' (still guessing about the cache), as I didn't find any type of cache. Still thinking about the hint, I picked up a stick and poked a lump of dog deposit. Nope, that was real. Gave up and drove off to the next cache.
Out with dty73 and made the night time walk from the car parked nearby to this location. A nice warm night to be out with a convenient location to sit and enjoy the night time views. TFTC.
For some reason I was expecting a fake dog poo, but that wasn't what it was at all...

11790. Found this evening by torchlight.
I was in the area and wanted to grab a cache. I saw this one was nearby so I parked on the street and walked up to the top with my torch for a search. Went from one end to the other and spotted a familiar hide - nice ! Signed the log, returned the cache, and headed back to the car and home.

Spotted bet quickly. This looks like a nice area, pity about the bitter wind today.
#4797 - 16:00; After racking up a DNF on a cache near the Tuggeranong Town Centre for the second time, I managed to collect a few caches around Conder. I'd seen this one reactivated a couple of days ago, so decided to swing past on the way home, to get it off the top of my closest to home list. Once at GZ, I had a quick find and signed the new log in top spot. Second one of these today! TFTC LisetteR73
I went looking for this one and it does look like it has been muggled. I'm temporarily disabling it while I await a replacement. Would like to try the same style again.
Headed out to grab my cache for the day, but by the time I arrived it was windy and drizzling thus quite miserable. Had a good look around the object and given the hint was fairly sure of what to look for, but couldn't find it.
I had a good look here with no luck then read the logs and moved on.
Thanks.

I was out on an errand nearby and stopped past this one. Started the search in the wrong spot, but soon homed in on the correct GZ. Nothing. Tried a PAF and despite explicit information, still came up empty handed. I suspect this one may have gone for a walk, so CO may want to check on it
After caching along the Barton Highway and Wallaroo Road headed over to Casey to find a few more caches on the way home. The difficult part was my GPS has old maps and none of these roads are displayed on it.
This was an easy find as it was out in the open. I put it back where I think it was meant to be. TFTC.

Parked the car at a new hose site and set off for a few caches in the general area. This was the first stop and the cache was soon in hand....then I sat and watch the nearby workers while signing the log. From here, it was across the creek and off for the next 4.
Thanks again LisetteR73......

Last cache for the day! When this was published I was all cozy at home and it was a ridiculous hour. Add this to the 15 minute drive and I thought I would just leave it for someone else
I noticed it on my map today after a day of geocaching and realised I had completely forgot about it! I was thinking "why is there an unfound traditional here!?" and thought I had missed a log before I remembered.
So off I went with ambi666, and I made a quick find in the cold. There were not too many places to hide a cache here, but it fits perfectly! I think it is a great hide for the location
