Found it!!! Very wonderful view but trying to find it was not as easy as expected due to the high winds. We thought we were going to get blown away!
Day two of our girls caching weekend road trip to Kempsey to attack the Slim Dusty GeoArt. The amusing thing is we still hadn't attempted one by the time it was to head home again! Willis007 and I really enjoy the places we find while caching and always make time for an AL, Wherigo, Virtual or interesting multi. This was a quick find. Thankyou
We made our way up here in the dark, the caching angels were smiling on us as the cache was found quickly.
Log signed and cache replaced as found.
Thanks ozglory for bringing us here. It is a magic spot at night, I can only imagine what it's like during the day.

Missed it the first time but found from a different angle. Nice spot to sit and look out
There were quite a number of people at the top when we arrived here. Mrs Shifter sat and looked out to sea then looked around behind her and spied something slightly different which turned out to be the cache.
We took a few photos and when we started to leave we realised that we were the only people at the top. A great view from here.
Thanks for the hide ozglory.

Found up here and so so windy! Log signed and cache tucked away safely again. Interesting too... no other signatures on the log....
Thank you for the cache! : )
Thank you for the cache! : )
We do have a two-fold problem with this one. Firstly the council on our last visit still had the parking area closed off and secondly, right at this moment, I can't physically make the walk to inspect the cache. We haven't archived as I'm still hoping to be able to walk there soon.
Tftc. Lovely views from the top. 2nd time looking for this, was just too windy the first time I tried lol
LOG: 11:40
Nach intensiver Suche konnte ich das kleine Döschen noch enttarnen und mich ungestört in das Logbuch eintragen. TFTC!

Nice short walk, great location. I was looking at the view - ww9 found it very quickly.

Came with muggle granma, for a walk up the hill. An easy find, but just make sure you ignore your GPS because there is no need to go down the cliff! TFTC!
I must have looked at it 4 times before I finally realised. That was a good hide ozgloury
My GPS was telling me to go down the "track" so I ignored it and has cache soon in hand

Found on a caching day around Kempsey. This one took a while but got there in the end, nice views. Fav point. Thanks
The rain was coming across from the south but we walked up the hill to the seat anyway. The GPS was telling me to go down the other side and I did go down the "track" some way before sense prevailed and I went back to the top. A look around showed me part of the tiny cache so I logged and headed back to the warm car as the wind picked up and rain increased. Thanks for a good hide in such a great place, what a view.
Cleaning up the caches I’ve left for too long in. Cresso. Lovely day for a walk. Bit windy on the top of the hill though.
This cache has bought us to yet another beaut spot which we may have missed otherwise. We loved the view and can imagine being here on a windy day.
Good coordinates and I'm sure a little luck meant we found the container in one of the first places we looked.

Well there you go. Found in 20 seconds, no wonder I couldn't find it in the past 3 visits over 4 years. I never looked there, I tried too hard as it is almost in plain view.
This one is now laid to rest.

Many thanks to Coongoola who did what I couldn't. I should also mention that Bobbiesgirl was prepared to go as well. Thank you to both cache teams for your kindness
We haven't forgotten about this one, But couldn't get there today so it will have to wait, sorry.
This was our second attempt - 7 sets of eyes and half an hour later and still no joy! We’ll be back!
not an easy cache to find....but may have been muggled will check towards the month end.
No luck. Searched in a number of areas as gps bounced about including the obvious.
I was going to head out to find this cache yesterday,
but the wind was blowin' so hard that I didn't like the thought of walking around the clifftops [:o]
The wind had died down today,
and waves were coming in nicely,
so off course there were a couple of wetsuit clad teens hanging onto the rocks below as the waves swept over them [:o]
They will get a lesson in silliness one day
When a king wave sweeps them away [:o]
Meanwhile above the foaming surf,
I was enjoying a quick cache find with views
TFTC and a bit of exercise.
PS: Thanks for arranging the low level,
high speed jet flypast
Those RAAF pilots get all the fun

Tftc. Found on a Father's Day caching adventure. After lunching at a pub headed off for this one. So windy today. And cold with cloud cover coming over. It was such a great morning. View was impressive even though we were shivering and could barely hear each other over wind. Tnlnsl.
Lol what a cheeky hide. Took me ages but after sitting on just about everything I could I eventually found the right spot to park myself. Saw some whales too! TNLN TFTC
I was hoping it wasn't over the edge. Lucky for me as I don't like heights like that.
Thanks for placing this cache ozglory.

This one was kind of VERY hard we went up and down the cliff right left and centre but still didn’t find it! We almost fell of the cliff at one point but we left with a couple scratches, bruises ect. We wheee deviated we didn’t find it because we had looked so hard! Please tell us if you have found it or if we where doing something wrong because we would love to go back and redeem ourselves.
Took us a little while to locate this one. Having to read and reread the logs, avoid the afternoon sightseeing muggles. Thanks to Mrs Grundies we finally decided on the right GZ which was in the right zone according to the cords but no need to scale anything as per description. Relieved to sit and put my hand on the cache for the smiley. No off to the next. TFTC
On a slow road trip to the Geomuster at Morisset next weekend. Staying at various towns along the way and collecting many smilies on the way.
Today was spent at Crescent Heads before heading into Kempsey for the night.
You wouldn't want to be caching up here on a very windy day but today was great and the view incredible. Thanks for bringing us here ozglory and a FP from me.

Travelling from Brisbane on our way to the Mega at Morisset. Wow what a walk up there to the top. My GPS was playing up a bit , it wanted me to drop over the cliff, but I did not obey! After a bit of searching around I found what I was looking for. Great views all around and the waves smashing against the rocks were spectacular. A Favourite from me. TFTC
Whoa! Out of the wind? I don’t think so!! It was a blustery gale up top here today and it looked like I needed to be down the edge of the cliff. . I PAFfed to make sure I didn’t need to endanger my life by being blown off the cliff face part way down. Having been assured that was not the case I looked around for somewhere to sit to steady my nerves and have a think. A bit of a nudge and well, what do you know? A cache in hand and I’m still alive as well. What a day! A cheekily hidden cache container in a great location to be watching for whales, dolphins, boats, big waves (as today) and birds. A favourite point coming your way. Thanks for the cache Ozglory that brought us up here to appreciate the great Crescent Heads. Geo hubby surfed here a few times in surfing safaris from Sydney with his surfing friends when he was in his early 20’s so about 50-52 years ago.
I’ll tell you a story that is true: back in those days, 1966-1968, all surfers carried fiberglass and resin with them to fix any cracks or dings in their surfboards themselves. Geohubby’s fin was broken off his board by those rocks in the surf. What could he do? This was a surfing safari after all and only the beginning of it. It was a disaster. He didn’t want to stand in the beach watching his buddies surf!! . A bit of an explore around and he found an old broken wooden toilet seat. His ingenuity came to the fore and before long he had rescued half of it, the nice curved half, the half of it shaped like a surfboard fin, and wedged that into the hole in the bottom of the board and fibreglassed and resined it to his surfboard. A bit of sanding to smooth it and he was back surfing the great Crescent Heads waves. The old days were great weren’t they??!!! [^]

TFTC TNLN SL No, seriously, what I mean to say is Yippee!!! Yahoo!!!! Whoo Hoo!!! Yeah Baby!!! Uh Uh!!. This tricky little needle in a haystack (read Bison tube in the bush) has plagued me for ages. We have searched and searched many times and gone home empty handed each time [:(!], in fact our last attempt on Boxing Day was nearly the end of us with a massive storm dumping on us just as we got the top [8]. So today, being St Paddy's Day we thought we would try the luck of the Irish and sure and begorrah we found the little so and so. Just in the nick of time too as I'm sure my Licence to Kill (read Caching Permit) was about to be irrevocably confiscated. My only excuse now is that we were looking in the wrong spot and with a little nudge from a most generous CO another find bites the dust. Thanks for a most memorable, seemingly endless, journey oz glory. Fav point for the experience, the glorious day and the great views.
Coordinates were way off but found it after a little search! Nice pod of dolphins to distract the muggles
What can I say, sigh!!!!!!! Went up the hill like the grand old duke of york, sat where I reckoned I needed to be and scratched around for a little bit until the heavens opened up and we got drenched!! Grrr!!!!
Crescent Heads is fast becoming one of my favourite places to spend some time when traveling between Queensland and Sydney. Camped here for three nights this time so decided to try for a few caches.
It took two visits to locate this one. Such a beautiful place.

Came down to Crescent Head to have an explore and find a couple of caches. Walked up and started the search. Initially thought the same thing as everything else that i would have some climbing to do. Read previous logs and chose a seat to start my search. Some how managed to jag it quickly. Although i am sure you could spend some time looking for it. TFTC
Found in the company of FakeKnows... after starting down one of the wrong paths....one of the geo kids yell out..."found it". What a view...TFTC.
Enjoyed the walk and great view, We sat down to watch the dolphins and Geo partner actually sat next to the cache TFTC
Noone else was up here taking in the view this Monday afternoon at a quarter to three. A quick find by my muggle sister thanks to accurate coordinates.
Hi there ozglory.
This is the 2nd of 2 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here at around 1:35:00 PM, but we just couldn't locate your cache. The coordinates had us out to sea a little way, and Ms Vertigo wasn't much help.
Regards
Ian and Penny

We are loving the weather around here at the moment. Lots of beautifully warm days just made for caching. Lots of lovely CO's too who have put out some great hides and great series for us to find.
More beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding headlands from this great position. We had to work to find it, but a careful look eventually had us signing the log.
TFTC and a fav for the location

Well I'd stopped admiring the crashing surf and was glumly reading all the log about how hard this one is to spot. I looked up to report this to the geofamily and my eye fell straight on it! Hooray. I truly splendid day to be wandering around Crescent Head. TFTC.
Well, talk about looking for a needle in a haystack! No, wait! that should be a bison tube in the bush. This was our actual third visit for this one and we still can't find the @#$%^& ! Was really hoping for a smilie this time as I needed to at least make a meagre contribution to my Mary Hyde crew's total tally. Oh well, can only use the excuse of caching blindness and being out of touch. Off for a much needed caffeine fix and then maybe, just maybe one more on the way home. Great day, lots of surfers.
Was a bit of a needle in a haystack with coords not settling for us...robbieracer66 made the eventual discovery for our smiley here...beautiful spot...fave point...tftc
Nearly got blown off the hill.
No find but a great view. Surf was going off.
2to 3 metres with a southerly into it and heaps of surfers out.

TFTC, while staying in the Caravan Park I thought I would look for a cache or two, what a great way to get some exercise away from the truck.
Our 1st caching day in OZ after returning from the Mega Event in NZ. A few new caches that had been placed since we were away, we targeted today.
This took us quiet some time to find, eventually we found it in a place we had previously looked. I think the rain had splattered dirt over the container which had made it harder to spot.
Many years ago we camped here quiet alot & Bill played many a game of golf here, its a favourite location.
Favourite point given
Thanks for placing this cache ozglory
