Couldn’t find it anywhere. The hint is not useful because everything here is about the Vikings anyway. Would be good to have this updated so that we knew whether it was still here or not.
Tired of all the whingers. When I started geocaching, the community was supportive of each other and expressed gratitude in their posts and were helpful when a cache was missing. Unfortunately geocaching is starting to go the way of social media and people are more likely to post something negative and nasty... forget about gratitude. Not worth the trouble or expense of keeping it up.
This evening, I headed south to Morphett Vale and Onkaparinga Hills for some solo geocaching. I rather enjoyed heading around the different parks, reserves and memorials, and it was a nice night to adventuring. I did also visit Wilfred Taylor Reserve, and it was quite busy with various sports being played.
This one had me looking for a while until eventually I found it. The container was in shape, but the logbook was a little damp. Thanks CrackedChelle for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Go the Vikings!

Found while hunting traditionals around Aberfoyle Park and a little further south.
Log's a bit wet here, left a smudge, not sure how the hint's supposed to help.
Thanks CrackedChelle for putting it there

I am disabling this cache in light of government recommendations with regards to the COVID-19 virus. From a post by Tchingal:
'Prime Minister Morrison -
"Stay home unless it is absolutely necessary you go out"
All Australian have been told to STAY AT HOME UNLESS IT'S ESSENTIAL TO GO OUT as the Prime minister announced a new batch of extreme lockdown measures..
(Front Page Advertiser AdelaideSA 25mar20)) for more information.'
I work with high risk disabled and aged people in the community, and due to a health condition I am a high risk candidate myself. I cannot be maintaining caches until this is all over. Furthermore, I want you to all stay safe and STAY HOME as instructed, because I love the geocaching community and do not wish to lose any of you. Please be thoughtful. Come back later

Found it. Took a little effort and glad to clear the dnf off this one from a while ago.

Found with Nicidanielle. Gotta give credit to the geowife for this one, looking in the wrong spot. Finally got this after 3 tries. Tricky bugger! TFTC
A nice find to keep the streak alive (Day 14!) took me a minute to find it! Couldn’t see at first, walked away, came back and looked again and there the V appeared! TFTC
I have had to change the terrain rating due to a fair change in the shape of the location. A stepping device may be required, now.
Please note: ‘geocaching can be dangerous’... isn’t that what the base app reminds us every time we have the misfortune of having to log in again? Therefore it stands to logic that there are many caches out there that are not specifically designed with children in mind. This one, although not particularly dangerous (she says, brushing off the umpteenth ant from her person), has never at any point had the attribute ‘recommended for kids’ and for a reason: this place is muggle central, and it can be difficult to reach the required stealth with little kiddies in tow.

Found with geokids. Geo grandson was so please to spot the cache and geo-grand daughter was then pleased to retrieve it. TFTC.
There was a bit of maintenance work going on over by the southern buildings , but no-one anywhere near us [8)].
Fortunately, a quick find . TNLNSL.

Down south to meet a former workmate / boss for a chinwag and beer at the Woodcroft Hotel, i made my way to this one after knocking off some Multi's and solved puzzles.
There was a game on and Muggles were in abundance. My Stealth was at 100% but given the cover i had at GZ i could look with confidence even with Muggles about. They were all between me and the game which meant all eyes were looking away towards the game. An easy find made the time there very brief [^]

The wind had a chill factor of -5 degrees but the rain had stopped and the sun was out. My coords were all over the place and would not take me to any place like the hint. Checked out both places the hint took me to but no sign if any cache. Also checked out anything else that could be connected to the hint and only got muddy shoes and a strong urge for a hot drink. Maybe next time!
All was quiet when we arrived at this location this morning. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks CrackedChelle for the cache.
Coordinates changed from:
S 35° 4.321 E 138° 35.561
Coordinates changed to:

Distance from original: 55.4 feet or 16.9 meters.
Trying to find a location which attracts less destruction of the cache. This should work, hopefully

Logged this very fun little cache on a windy Saturday evening. Very nice hide!
Second time in the area but cache not where I looked last. Quick find on this occasion. Thanks CrackedChelle.
I was expecting there to be some sport on here on a Saturday morning, but there was none.
Cache was quickly found and signed.

A clever hide! I remember coming to the playground which used to be nearby when I was a kid but sadly it looks as though it is gone now! TFTC and the trip down memory lane!
Trying to clear a needs maintenance icon... maintenance all done (new cache!)
This was on our radar since it was published, but every time we had a chance to look for it, it was disabled.
We finally had the chance to grab this one today - found in between dog walkers and people kicking their footies and soccer balls.

Thought I'd try mid morning on a slightly wet weekday and it was quiet with only a couple of muggles off in the distance. Quickly made the find (2 actually as others have mentioned) and signed the log and carefully replaced.

Two caches!! Haha I'm glad the original nano turned up [^] Couldn't find it when it went 'missing' months ago but that's what happens in a hurry or in the dark At least I have something to fix the giraffe with
The usual suspects out on a usual Tuesday night, minus the fair weather cacher.
As noted by my companions for the evening, we were lucky enough to double up here. I guess that gives finders a better chance of finding a nano! Luckily, with three pairs of eyes, each of us only have to do one third of the usual work for a find. TFTC CrackedChelle!

Out for an evening of caching fun with RideTheGeoWalrus and Moneydork.
Several fine caches discovered down south, this was one.
For bonus points there were two nanos at GZ ! ! !

I found this one on a weekday at 1pm. There weren't too many people around so it seemed ok. It's the smallest cache that I've seen yet. Thanks.
Finally up and running again. Remember that this place is muggle central during footy season.
Very close to being fixed. Have the replacement cache to hand, just need the opportunity to travel there when the area is muggle free and I am time free
Going to have to try a different supplier to replace this one. Sorry... a little longer and it will be fixed.
Tonight we were determined to continue our streak we looked and looked but it was a dnf
Been muggled maybe? Searching in the dark is tricky but there wasn't many places where this one could be hidden.
Caching with Earthlight

Although in the middle of summer, this football ground is still very green.
A quiet place today with only a dog sighted way over the otherside.
Found by Gwen from The X-Trailers before I even got out of the car.

Out & about with hevwalker caching around Aberfoyle park/flagstaff hill.
There was a bit of muggle activity happening here as cars were leaving the facility.
We also found plenty of foot activity especially a few guys who only wore training shorts & shoes!
Thanks for the cache CrackedChelle

Haven't been to this oval before, even though I knew it was hidden away here. I parked nearby and walked past a dad and his son playing soccer on the pitch nearby. They didn't give me a second look as I walked to the GZ and began my search.
I found the structure the cache was likely to be on, and the hint meant I could narrow down the spot. I put my hand on something that moved and bingo, there was the cache. That was when I realised it was a nano, and I was very relieved to have found it without a prolonged search.
Bloody nanos! Spawn of satan. Burn down the nano factory, and exterminate anyone who sells nanos!

Coords were accurate and the geotrails were even more accurate Found the evil nano and was just able to sign the microscopic log. TFTC CrackedChelle
Mr Tardis was in the area today and stopped here to grab this new one. Thanks to the helpful hint, I found the cache after a short search.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Chelle & Apty.

I used the GC ap to find this - it played up on me so for some reason - I thought it was a traditional large cache. #Fail. I could not find it in the traditional large place so a rang the JJ line. When I realized the err of my ways, a quick look over the fence and I could see the happy yellow Viking advertising. As if you need that kind of advertising here. The yellow V nano was found. Insert rant:

clear skies, Astro.
Had planned on grabbing a number of caches on the way to the CO's Halloween event but the rain bput an end to that!!! We did manage to grab this (little) one. ........ easier than expected as the sport on the oval had obviously been cancelled. ThanksCrackecChelle for the hide!!!
After attending a nearby event, Owl was keen to add to the smiley total. Thanks to a very specific clue, this was a quick find. (Very helpful with a few muggles around!)
Noticing that this one had been replaced after my DNF last time I headed here on my way to the CO's event and made a quick find. Then headed over to the event on a very cold windy day.
Thanks for the cache CrackedChelle.

I suspect it's gone missing - again! I'm going to check, and if I can find it, I'm going to move it... otherwise I'm going to replicate the container and relocate it. Stay tuned
PS: Ratbag1's U18 team made it all the way to the Grand Final, but lost on the big day. All the same, I'm a proud mum

I too had a good look and couldn't find any cache here today.

OK - yes, the cache had been relocated by someone... put in a really dumb place, too. Fixed, now. Thanks again.
The cache has *already* been moved from its original position. Thank you everyone for alerting me to this problem via your logs. No wonder you were all complaining so hard! I didn't put it in such a stupid place. I will enable it again when I have had a chance to go fix it.
I think Terrain should be more than one and half for little people like me. I had to walk back to my car to get my special tool to get it. Be careful with the stairs.
Thanks CrackedChelle for the cache
