as mentioned by previous finders, the container and log for this cache were both missing when I found the camouflage for this cache today. as this is a self crafted container, I was unfortunately unable to replace the container. however, I have placed a piece of paper in a resealable bag with the camouflage to use as the new log. thanks for the cache!

Found the camo but the container and log are missing.Have picture if necessary for validation.

19-Oct-24
Found the camo but no container or log present despite extensive search.

13-Aug-24
Found after being dropped off at the northern end of the Barossa Trail in a quest to cycle from Barossa Trail #79 and getting picked up at Barossa Trail #64, before going to lunch at the Lyndoch Hotel. All I found was the cache container here, unfortunately without a log-sheet. Thanks for the cache and series LB!

No log in this one. Out in the Barossa with Shumba7 on the electric geoscooter and euc. TFTC.

04-Jun-24
Found the cache but no log to sign. TFTC found after riding the Barossa Rail Trail the day before with Algae. We then went out on my electric scooter and his electric one wheel ABs grabbed these caches. I had to w walk a couple of the up hills a bit to steep for my scooter. we also stopped at Jacobs winery for some tasters, and to Kiers to do some more testers, and b rough some port, and then finally the lavender farm to buy some smellies. Thanks for placing and maintaining these caches for us to find.

Out and about collecting more smilies. Signed with Leap mega team nickname BOLD9. Thanks for hiding and maintaining the cache.

01-Mar-24
Oh My, not sure what day number this is cache wise nor what caches I did yesterday, we have been caching for a while and the days and the caches seem to run into each other now. We started early today and had the Grapes geoart in mind, along with some special caches as we passed. It will be nice to hopefully have another art completed without any holes. To save space on log sheets we signed as BOLD 9. I like this area and the caches were different in parts. Some nice puzzles to solve and some good placements. We thought we were going to be short on one cache but we ended up finding the bison on the ground. A quick tie up and all good to go. Thanks for the caches and the hides, sorry for the generic logs.

01-Mar-24
How very exciting the big trip has finally arrived! Down from Brisbane with a host of other geo friends with plans aplenty, enough to almost see us needing to extend or make a return visit. Our geonick for the trip is BOLD9 which is guaranteed to save the log paper for the 9 individual members of the team. As we make our way around sadly there wont be time for the usual individual logs and therefore just the old generic log will have to do. With little extra notes here and there if needed. Thank you for your cache which has added to my wonderful caching holiday. All challenges will be checked for qualifying at a future time.

GC6N232 Barossa Trail #71Happy Leap Year!A group of us are down from Darwin and Brisbane for the leap year mega event. This is my last full day in Adelaide so we decided to tackle all those grapes we had solved and pick up various other caches in the area. To save space in the logs we have signed as BOLD7. Was meant to be BDLD7 but something got lost in translation. However 2 more have joined our team. So BOLD9 today it is. I have had a great time caching down here and will need to return with the family to explore the area (& caches) some more. These are sneaky. Well done.TFTC LB

I was in Adelaide for the Mega and came across this series. I was out caching with a group of friends (BOLD9), and this was one that we found. I liked this series, and it would've been excellent to do on a bike or scooter, but unfortunately, we only had a car, so we couldn't get the entire series. Thanks for the cache; I have so many logs to do that I have to complete bulk logs; all caches were in good condition unless noted.

02-Oct-23
Stayed at the Novotel for two nights on a visit to the Barossa from WA. Went out early this morning to find a few caches along the bike path. Found 5 and skipped 2 that I judged were a bit 'snaky' (higher risk of snakes). Thanks for the series LiB. Very well designed and I wish I could have searched for more. This was the first find.

06-Jun-23
Walking off the lite red infusion, went to the other end to the other end of the car park to search for this cache.

Upon arriving at GZ found the exposed cache. Well that was easier than expected!

Signed and rehid in a likely spot. Clever hide LiB. As I can attest with a few other finds and DNFs this is an interesting series of cache hide types.

25-Apr-23
out for a wander with Eartlight, LiB and AllisterW collecting and maintaining some caches with the CO.
We picked the perfect day for this wander. The sun was shining and the day was clear

25-Apr-23
Found with the CO, travellingbees and earthlight while we were on a maintenance walk. Favourite

Found with Shonky and Uni on a biking day in the Barossa. Some were easy, some hard, and some just no luck for us today. It was hot, dry and we obviously left our geo mojo's home today.

Thanks for the cache
Cheers and Happy Hinting
Southern Cross Caching

18-Feb-23
Set out on a bicycle ride with Uni and Medusa, and Southern Cross Caching.
Uni cheated because he had 2 wheels like us.
The day was hot, the caches mostly difficult and there were a lot of places where we just gave up because we were worried about snakes or dehydration.

We originally planned to ride from Tanunda to Gawler, but ended up calling time at Lyndoch.
Note to self, don't go bicycle caching on hilly terrain when the weather is above 22 degrees...

18-Feb-23
Found at 12:11 pm

Uni, Shonky and SXC headed out to the Barossa to complete the bike trail series, and any other cache in the area which we came across.

09-Feb-23
Arrived in the area today, and out caching in the hot afternoon. Walked some of the Barossa trail, lucky some of it was shaded. Stopped at Jacob's winery and headed home to relax in the pool. This cache was full of dirt and no log, so couldn't sign it. TFTC

#19273. Day 15 of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. Our first full day in Tanunda (and already we have extended our 3 night stay to 5). With a fine day forecast we decided to hop on the bikes with the doggies in tow and do the windy bit of the Barossa Trail, starting at #79 and finishing on the road at #62. Such a wonderful trail with fabulous scenery and great caches. A morning well spent. Back to base for lunch and an afternoon walk into town.

Favourite point for this one. Rob had ridden off already so had this to hand when I arrived. He showed me where it was as he replaced it. Oh, another nasty, sneaky hide.

Thanks LíB

30-Jul-22
Day fifteen of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
Our first day in Tanunda. Unloaded the deadly treadlies, loaded the doggies in their trailer and set of for the first part of the Barossa Trail. (well, actually the last part numerically!)
Back to base for lunch, then a wander through historic Tanunda in the afternoon.

A nasty sneaky hide!
No snowmobiles? Lucky we have electric bikes or we would not be able to get up these hills!
Thanks, Robmc.

Special K and Shackas - mum’s find.

05-Jul-22
Another cache found with richli k on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
It is a beautiful day in the Barossa perfect for a ride on the Barossa Trail and picking up other caches along our route. Thanks for the effort in placing and maintaining these caches LiB.

04-Jul-22
Coordinates spot on. Found quickly. Great cammo

30-Apr-22
No tastings - at least there’s a cache here! Second day in SA and out on trusty treadles aka my mtb to explore the trails and surroundings. Had no intention of doing so many but these quality caches piqued the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. Happy and relieved to record no DNF’s and on average most were located ‘relatively’ quickly. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game!

10-Apr-22
A nice morning to stretch the legs along the trail. A fun cache to start the day. TFTC

A great little cache. Had a tasting at the winery and took a very short walk to the cache. A favourite point given TFTC

05-Jan-22
My wife and I are staying at the Novotel for a week and you would expect that we would normally visit the closest cellar door. However, we have been turned off by the amount of rubbish they have on the shelves back at home. It was interesting to be walking so close this morning.

My wife and I have been discussing whether we should go there for a tasting for sh*ts and giggles. We weren’t expecting magic but thought it would be fun. The Novotel left some complimentary wine in our room that just happened to have the same name as the nearby cellar door. It was plain tragic and our decision to avoid it was made. tftc

Well hid.

07-Sep-21
Out for a walk in the area with some caching along the way. TFTC! Soggy log chucked out and replaced with a piece of notebook paper.

Today I was back out this way again after completing the some of the Jack Bobridge Trail the other day, with only one section left a nice walk was had along the trail till this was pretyy much completed.

Despite the heat, 7km walked and some great caches that were well made were found.

Thanks for the cache

26-Jul-20
Today I started on Twartz rd then did the meat trail by push bike. Slipped through Gawler and hit the start of the Barossa Trail. I need a good bunch on the western end, and a smattering of missed ones in the middle. I still had a few misses, but chuffed at turning my previous frowns into smileys. The day finished on the bike at Jacobs Creek complex, when the sun decided to fade. It was time to head home for some pasta, wine and to log the days finds.

I tried a new technique today of recording personal notes rather than logging in the field (LITF) so save some daylight time during caching.

#71 was also a quick find. I spied the very item and saved from having to spin rocks. Log sheet is damp but otherwise good. Good Hide

A fantastic bike ride in a place where I can’t drink for another 11 years. A great day finding caches with Csaba!, Malco! and SupaOrange. So many different hides made the day SupaFun. Turtle Out

17-Jul-20
On the bikes with SupaTurtle, Malco! and Csaba!. Sooooooooo many ups and downs on this section. We found most caches and spent too much time looking at others. Tra La Laaa

17-Jul-20
Huge day out on the trail with Malco!, SupaOrange and SupaTurtle. We had planned to smash the rest of this series today but will be back another day for the rest. With the bikes ready to go we hit the trail. We found most of the amazing caches but a few DNF’s along the way. Thanks

17-Jul-20
Riding the JB Trail with Csaba!, SupaOrange and SupaTurtle.

Beaut day on the trail. Dusted off the old bike, pumped up the tyres and adjusted the brakes.

All set. Did the last section from Roland Flat, through Jacobs Creek and the finals of the series.

Found most but a few defeated us leaving us with a reason to return.

Thanks for this great series, LiB

A big bike ride along through the vineyards, but unfortunately no wine today! Some very tricky and sneaky caches found between rain showers. A fun day out with [@Davidwazza](http://coord.info/PR61VZX) ! TFTC!

05-Apr-20
Today with COVID-19 social isolation requirements in effect, I headed out with [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) to ride a section of the Jack Bobridge Trail around Rowlands Flat for our fitness. The weather was pretty bad with intermittent rain showers, and I thought we had beaten the morning heavy stuff, but we did get caught out a couple of times before it eased off. It was very quiet in the Barossa Valley today with all the wineries all shut, which just added to the sadness of the current environment. We ended up completing the #62 to #79 section in a few hours, with some well constructed and nicely camouflaged caches found.

It was so quiet in Jacob's Creek car park today, and only a few cars parked out back that must have been vineyard workers. We arrived at this location here, and searched a few typical spots (always knowing that it was unlikely that this CO had hidden default cache hides along this trail), and after we had exhausted those, I spotted the cache quite exposed nearby. I guess it had been knocked out or something, but all looked ok. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I made sure to place it back and wedge it in a little tighter. Thanks [@LíB](http://coord.info/PR8KEM6) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I couldn't help but see the opening times' exceptions of Open ... daily "(except Christmas Day and Good Friday)". It sounds like they need to add pandemics to that list also.

Great hide here, TFTC 3LG!

18-May-19
Enjoyed a walk along the Trail, enjoyed the safe parking, and then Mr Frog moved the car closer to our last cache, on the edge of Rowland Flat. Now I know why the lady was riding her bike up and back on the last of the trail, it was the flattest section that we walked today. Some great camouflage that made each find interesting (and sometimes frustrating)

27-Mar-19
Today we returned to the Jack Bobridge Trail to look for caches that we didn't find time for two days ago. After the first day, we had high expectations for the quality of the design, construction and placement of the cache containers and we were not disappointed. If at all possible, the caches we found today were even of a higher standard and contributed to a great caching experience.

This cache was found after a short search. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 3LG for another great cache in a wonderful series.

16-Mar-19
A quick find here after spotting the cache cover, the log container was missing its lid but on closer inspection the lid was discovered, don't know why it wasn't put back correctly. ------SL------TFTC

TFTC 3LG. Loving this series and you have done an awesome job in placing these caches out. There were some tricky hides but got there in the end. Looking forward to the rest of the caches along this amazing bike track.

19-Jan-19
Hello from Canada, eh?! We are from Nanaimo, located on the east coast of Vancouver Island, on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada’s most western province.

We are spending a month visiting your beautiful country, with stops in Hobart, Bicheno (to see the Tassie devils and penguins), Melbourne, Great Ocean Road, Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, Cairns, Port Douglas, Daintree Rain Forest, Great Barrier Reef, Brisbane (with a George Ezra concert), Byron Bay, and finally Sydney with a play (Blanc de Blanc) at the Opera House!

We nabbed Canada’s 1st geocache in Nova Scotia last August and we plan to nab Australia’s 1st cache in Sydney before we leave.

Today we visited Jacobs Creek, Seppeltsfield and Wolf Blass.

Thank you so much, 3LG, for adding some geo fun to our trip!

We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us. Wink

Now camped in Tanunda. Today the GeoCruiser was booked into Toyota. So what does any Geoaddict do when they have no 4x4, come rain, wind and freezing temperatures? .... they jump on the GeoBike of course.

Mr Felix started at #79 at 8.30am and finished at #1 at 4.10pm, he was unable to complete the series due to trail works where the track is closed to all traffic for 1km. Picking up a few other caches along the way he managed to complete 75/79 attempted caches today.

What an awesome trail and amount of work to place and maintain. Definitely a fan of the series, so creative and tricky, such a range of quality hides. Helped out with some log replacements where necessary.
