Teamed up with Snickersallan, Granny Smith 1947 and chamad on the hunt for the Multis Jigsaws, Wherigos and whatever took our fancy whilst out on our travels within the Logan shire. What a fantastic selection of caches and containers on offer for GC LOGAN event. It was great to be with my usual buddies, delightful to meet up with new ones and strengthening our ties. Thanks so much to GC Logan team for arranging events and placing caches for our enjoyment.
Looking forward to all the GCLogan activities and events; during the events and caching activities, I teamed up with Bluewattle, Grannysmith and Snickersallan as we worked our way around the areas collecting the new caches, and even some older ones. We managed to attend most events, a few citos and some meal events. It was great to see the many different faces turning up to the different events. Today I was chasing a few caches and a couple of the events. Our team was happy to grab a whereigo or a UGO as they are known down this way. I am glad we got to do these as a group, we always seem to run into issues like the phone dying or the app dies off so there is safety in numbers. We then started a few multi caches as well. Between events and cache runs we also stopped at a few to clean out an area or stopped at for a particular reason. This was one of those that we did, we signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for placing.
GCLOGAN Day 2Found the cache with TBU1BIKESU and signed the log Tftc . Cantchacheus2014
We arrived for the big GCLOGAN event - couple of events in the next coming days.We came in this area for a paddle on the Logan River so we used the occasion to sign this log as well.Tftc Cantcacheus2014
We sussed this one out to make sure we entered from the correct side of creek.Even so we got it wrong but with a few strategic steps we were soon on our way to GZ.It was an easy find as we could see it from a distance. After signing log we covered with a little natural camo in readiness for next finder .Thanks Cantcacheus2014
After searching everywhere relized had to cross creak success managed without getting feet wet tftc
I had a word for the hint that wasn't working for me. But miss 12 was straight onto it and then cache was quickly found.
Took the KG kids out to do some caching now the 12yo has a caching bag of tricks. Took a while but she deciphered the clues and came up with the goods!
Wasn't expecting a creek crossing, but made it with my thongs still dry. Biggest hassle was a huge spiderweb right where I wanted to walk. Felt a bit guilty, but the spider is now homeless and I got to find and log a great cache. TFTC
Morning cache hunting with my daughter Lilly&Magnolia - nicely hidden cache, book little bit damp but okay condition. Found easily GZ.
Grandie sitting nearby, and had a day when we had to cache to help our Finds for Each Day of the Year grid.
This is the closest to home. and the second attempt at this cache. Caching today with Grandie # 4 - she knows the drill, but we still can't get close enough.
Have approached from both sides now.

I was expecting it to be drilled into the rock but it was cleverly hiding under some paperbark

Caching with Hatzoff and grannysmith1947 and this one has been on my list for a long while. I have been here on 2 previous occasions and had no luck but today it was a little different. I thought I was going to get wet feet but I managed to save myself from that and it wasn't long before I had that Steak/cache in hand. Log signed and cache replaced as found and still dry feet. TFTC
TFTC smile 14286 out and about with miss millie geo dog and Hatzofff RoddyC Imbunda great caches, great day ,good weather, enjoying a day out with geocaching friends and it helped with the good hint
Thank you, Cantcacheus2014, for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

It's all too much for miss 6..... Itchy grass, mosquitos, wet feet from the creek, sore knees from God knows what!
But we got the smiley and will now go to the bakery for lunch to make it all good again.
TFTC!

I've replaced the cache with a new container. Lid was broken on old. Dried one page of old log. The rest was unsalvageable. Cache is now regular size. Thanks.
Cache is completely full of water. I'll dry out and bring back in the next day or so. Live close. Thanks
I wasn't sure on the best approach path to this one and after recent rains, crossing the creek was not only going to be interesting, but was something I was not dressed for...
I mosied around trying to find an opportunity to 'ease' across the water rather than leap and I was pleased to find that opportunity not too far away. Over I went, into the longish grass and gradually made my way to GZ, where the cache was spotted immediately. Nice...
The not so nice part, is that the cache was absolutely waterlogged and there was no way to sign the log. I snapped a photo of the condition for proof of the find, and dropped it back in place.
A quick backtrack long my route in and I was back on the safe side.
The cache needs some owner TLC to give it a good clean out or to replace. I was not armed with anything that could help this morning, sorry.
Cheers Cantcacheus2014.

Cache is inundated with water as reported in the last couple of find logs. It could use some owner love to fix or replace.
Came at this one from the main road so I had to cross the creek that was a healthy trickle thanks to recent rain.
The same rain had inundated the container. Poured all the water out to find a soggy notebook but a ziplock bag with the new log dry as can be. Signed and replaced.

I’m sorry to report that the elements have gotten into this cache and the log book is saturated... I’ve packed it in with the biggest bag of silica I have but I’m not sure it will do any good... I’ve added a temporary log in its own snap lock bag...
I found my chosen way out blocked by spiders, so in retracing my steps found my GPS on the ground where I left it... phew... ... tftc...

I had put my hand up for an extra day of work today, on the condition I left in time to find my cache for the day. This one was just around the corner, and having driven past it many times on previous occasions I was happy to stop and claim a smiliey. I pulled up near gz and made my way in. I followed the geotrail and waited for the gps bounce to settle; eventually leading me back from the creek a bit to a large item which matched the hint. The log was a bit wet, but I was able to scribe my name and the date before returning all as found. Tftc Cantcacheus2014
Found in the dark.
Log is very wet.
Sorry for not having much positive to say about this cache

This was fun. Our phone was jumping a bit so jad a read in the other comments and knew what we had to do. The hont came clear when we got to gz.. thanks for the cold find
Found w i th The X-Trailers today. Luckily we left the rain down on the coast. TFTC
Walked past this more than once in my search... then I looked behind me... Bingo! TFTC cheers
Made my way to GZ and saw something that made sense of the hint... nice easy one today. TFTC
This one was targeted today as it had a bit of unloved time available. Wasn’t sure what I would find at GZ but in I headed and hopped over the little creek. My GPS was a little bit off but I soon had the cache in hand after a quick search. All well with this one, TFTC!
JACS convinced me there were pathtags to be found at this cache, but they are all gone. Nevermind! I am happy to trade if the CO is interested... TFTC!
I came across this cache whilst trawling through a friends logs checking out her holiday finds. I saw she had logged this one before leaving and mentioned collecting a pathtag. Being an avid hunter and collector (not the band) I read that the CO left pathtags and the plural part made this immediately go into my collect list. Teamed up with Ardom after an event in the area and we headed straight over. A short hunt and the container was located a quick rattle indicated that our luck may have run out. Cracking opening the cache and it was true - no tags left. A massive disappointment to what I had built up to be a massive treasure trove. Oh well at least I have a new yellow smile on my map. Thanks for the adventure.
Got a tag thanks!
Thanks for taking us here Cantcacheus2014. Took awhile to find, but eagle eye Snickersallan spotted it!

This one took a lot longer to find than usual as I was too focused on the clue to begin with. Just a methodical search ended up being the best way to go, I certainly made this harder than what I should have.

Nothing nicer than a good piece of steak, but it does need to be hot. The cache is in good condition. SL TFTC
I have already said cache was fine. And guess what, the cache was fine- go figure.....there was no reason for it to have been disabled.
I've now replaced it and put an easier and larger one in there instead. I also put the original log in there with a new one. I dont care which one you sign. Some tags in there too. Please only take 1

Good Day,
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Looking forward to hearing from you,

Out caching with the Tough Mothers (Remsjw, Jemillalucy and Lisylou). No luck for us today .
On a twelve hour day shift today, but we still managed to find time to stop off and grab this one when on an outing
A nice handy D2/T2 as well which is good to keep my rate up [^]
A quick find was made at ground zero, as I'm pretty used to that type of cache container now
The log sheet was extracted and dutifully signed and dated, then all replaced back as I had found it. The cache is ready for the next geocacher to come and find it for themselves [8d]
Thanks for the geocache Cantcacheus2014

I headed out early this morning for a few hours before the predicted heat wave hit. It was just over 40 at our place and by 630 this morning the sun had some bite.
I arrived here with the sun on my back and the moon still high in the sky. I spotted the poor cows across the road then headed in. While looking at the map finding GZ I could see the dry dirt holding yards for the abottoir where the poor buggers end up before their doom. No wonder I'm a veggo.
Anyhow, I soon found GZ safe and sound. Nice hide.
Cheers CCU

Out for a day of caching with RoddyC and joojoo57, this one had us scratching our heads for a minute, then we wandered as the GPS wanted us to and a nice find was made, log signed, now to the next one. TFTC
Out for a day of caching with DiamonJs and RoddyC. We visited parts of Beenleigh I had never been to. Thanks to all the COs whose caches we visited today.
The last day of January 2017. How time flies! Today we will pass a mini milestone of 5,500 geocache finds since September 2014.
Mrs RoddyC and I had some Vouchers for a lunch in a restaurant at Southport, so we invited DiamonJS and Joojoo57 to join us for some caching before and after, Mrs RoddyC had a job to do at WIndaroo first, so the morning was spent around there while she was at work. After lunch, we had time for just four caches before we were due back home.
Our third cache for the morning took us to this new estate, and Nuvi wanted us to pull up at a gate that led straight down into the water! So we decided to move back to park nearer to the main road. From there we walked across the grassy aread, but then had to turn into the bush anyway.
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 9.00am on 31st January 2017. TFTC

I am heading to Tweed head and have allowed a few days caching along the way from Toowoomba.
Over 2 half days and 2 full days caching I found over 130 caches.
Today was my second full day caching and found over 50 caches again.
Found after a short search.
Thanks for the cache.

Nice hide. Ugh can't believe you brought me to the Abbatoir again! This one was pretty easy thanks for the hide. Signed log and replaced cache and camo. All is good here
This one shows as the same distance away form my place as the other nearby cache. Only a few hundred metres apart so I might s well make the effort.
Almost got wet feet on the way to this one. Spotted the creek under the grass just in time. The GPSr was bouncy under the trees, but I liked a particular spot for GZ. A quick look revealed nothing and the hint almost had me moving on, but a better search revealed that I had chosen well.

**FTF** WE Were out in the Geotug when this publication came through we arrived at a small park with a creek running through it ,the gps had us wandering around for awhile and eventually came up with the find but alas no steak for us today TFTC
