We headed out in the car today to cache in the areas surrounding Swan Hill. It was an interesting journey as we traveled through varied farming country, some fruit, crops and scrubby areas. The caching was mixed with straightforward finds and a number of DNFs as we battled the GPSr on some, and others spot on. Many D/T ratings were spot on, but others definitely misleading.A successful if at times frustrating day nonetheless.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Hercs&pinky.**SKI Pair****
A very quick find made here today as it was found on the ground. We are uncertain where it should have been as there was no hint. So we replaced it in a fork, next to where we found it.TFTC and the extensive research and information supplied.
Heading home from Mildura to Wollongong. We made sure we had the time to make a few cache stops to break up the journey.Cheers
Found it ok, but unfortunately there is a lot of rubbish lying around here. Tftc
Really quick and easy find. Partner had to defeat a boss (spider) to grab it though. Beware of this if you're doing this with the kids. Other than this, TFTC! Took nothing and left nothing, but there's currently some awesome swaps inside.
#12968 - 2:05:00 PM; Day 3 of the Wang Mega tour with Sol de lune. We didn't quite get to Echuca last night, but we did enjoy comfortable accommodation and a great meal at the Falcon Hotel on the highway right next door to the Downunder Dunny. After collecting that cache, we set off for Echuca and a spot of caching in and around the town, avenging a couple of GCA DNFs from our previous visit. We are now well underway as we head west for our next overnight destination, Mildura. After collecting some adventure labs and a bit to eat in Swan Hill, we picked up more caches along the way including this one. No problems getting our names into the log, before continuing on our mission. TFTC Hercs&pinky
After a couple of great days in and around Wang at the Mega, followed by a drive to Echuca, LuckyL10n and I were now on the road from Echuca to Mildura. The plan today was to stop for a few selected caches...those that looked good, those with a few favourtie points..as well all the regular and large caches we could find.
Left Echuca around 9.30am, arriving in Mildura around 6.00pm. All caches we attempted were found, apart from the one that was completely burnt out, so all up a good road trip. Now home
and it's time to log.
Thanks to all owners the along the way, and apologies for the generic log.

Hi there Hercs&pinky.
We found your cache **"Bulla Bulla"** today.
The plan today was to find a couple of caches that we had previously DNF'd, and then to follow a random route chosen by the (mostly) next closest cache as determined by our GPS. We had a profitable day and found 17 and DNF'd 0
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Thank you Hercs&pinky for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Found during our COVID 2020 Murray River trip. While Melbourne was in a state of turmoil rural Victoria was still okay, and with 4 weeks leave, and all the borders closed we decided the only warmish place in Vic was going to be as north as we could get. After a decade or so travelling north and west we started on the trips we'd left til later - the Murray River. Starting from East Gippsland we got to Wemen out of Robinvale before they announced Victoria was going back into Stage 3. Now we're working our way back home and avoiding Melbourne. Found this along the way. TFTC. DJ

The geocaching holiday continues with OzHockeyChick, Papi4506 & GeoTurtle37. We finally made it to Swan Hill after an epic drive (100kms in 6hrs). Today is the first day exploring the hill.
Hmmm that looks a little suspicious. A nice quick find
Thanks Hercs&pinky for placing the hide!

Nice easy find on our way to Cohuna. There has been some lovely rain today and everything is all wet and fresh, and the dark cloud cover is promising of more. TFTC
Suscoe was out and about today enjoying the sunshine of the Swan Hill region.
It was a cold morning with temperatures around zero but the day turned out to be perfect with little or no wind and clear skies all day long.
We were impressed with the ever changing countryside with the town, orchards, crops, grazing animals, the river, beautiful trees and green pastures.
We found a good range of caches and enjoyed the finds.
Thanks to Hercs&pinky for this hide, all good here today.

Nyah Day 2 staying at the trotting club.
Today we planned a trip south of Nyah, this was a great way to visit your area.
The cache locations were varied & a variety of containers found.

TFTC. We had parked there Motorhome at Nyah Recreation Reserve and headed into Swan Hill to do some shopping for groceries and drinks. As we travelled into town we stopped along the way to find some caches, (as all normal people do). The finds along the the Highway were all pretty straightforward. The history in the descriptions are very interesting.
On our way home from Swan Hill after spending the long weekend caching in the area. A quick stop to find this one. TB taken. TFTC
Up visiting friends in Beverford and decided to grab a few more caches while in the area. Know tjisnwonery pretty well, and love to stop by and visit the 150 year old vines out the back of this winery!!
Didn't take long to spot the tell tale sign of natural cache camouflage here.
Tried to work out the significance of the cache name. It wasn't the town name so we can only assume it has something to do with the nearby Buller winery.
Or perhaps the Bulla icecream factory is near here??? Yum!!!
Thanks.

I had a few extra days off work so BettyBoo3747 and I decided to nip across to Swan Hill for a few caches. Been quite a while since we have been here and there are lots of new caches to do.
Did a few caches around Swan Hill, then travelled a bit north and across the border.
Well we saw the town, and now we have done the cache!
Now we read all about it!
Thanks, Robmc.

#14758. Day 4, and our last day caching in the area before heading home tomorrow. Another hard day chasing treasure, not always successfully and usually slowly. Pleased to actually get 30 smilies with the usual run of DNF's - 5 today. Once more following in the footsteps of a very happy cacher who has been through the district but who doesn't sign any logs. A strange affair.
Starting to get really hot, tired and frazzled by now. Not sure of the connection of the cache name but a cache find is a cache find, so our names are in the log and we continue back towards SH.
Thanks Hercs&pinky

On my way to Swan Hill caching along the way with plenty of time before I need to book in to my stay for the night, this hide was one of many on my way there. It was quickly located and it's log was signed at 13:08 on Sat 19 May 2018.

Our final day around the Western Riverina & Mallee with interesting history and country towns. Looking at the number of green boxes and blue question marks still showing up on our geo-map, we will be back, hopefully, sooner rather than later.
We enjoyed reading the cache notes and created a mental picture of what Beverford looked like in its hey day.
Thanks 'Hercs&pinky' for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

We were on our way from Broken Hill to Swan Hill today and could only manage a few caches along the way, this was the last of three we collected after a short search. TFTC Hercs&pinky
Few ants and 2 spiders found hiding along with this cache what a high jump they made me have! Tftc. Sl
Checked log book today.
Have deleted 2 found logs for failure to sign log sheet
Appears to be the same person using different numbers at the end of their name.

In Nyah for a couple of days getting a few caches today. Heading for Swan Hill. TFTC
The compass continued to jump and twirl me into
confusion. Finally I spied a spot where the cache
could be and there it was.... The cache is really one
of the neatest and cleanest I have ever seen.
Thanks heaps for the hide

Couldn't find where coordinates where in bush but two metres right younger geo cache daughter found it
Found this geocache with my brother and pop. Look silly pulling up along the highway but who cares it was a reward to grand to miss.
A cool spot for a cache and a nice stop on the way home to Adelaide.
I've had a big, but generally a relaxing couple of weeks away in Victoria.
Ballarat, Border track, Pinnaroo, Bendigo, Wedderburn, Swan Hill, Maryborough, Mt Beckworth and Mt Gambier are just a few of the spots I have visited during my caching trip. There was an emergency room visit, loads of driving, stacks of laughter, amazing food, lots of new learnings (like oh my goodness!!), and a wonderful mix of fabulous people.
I am loving this country and getting out and about in it!
Thanks for the cache Hercs&pinky!

Having spent a wonderful weekend in Swan Hill with Mrs. Aussie M&M and mogni to attend another countdown to the Melbourne Mega event it was time to head home. Mogni left us to head back to the South East of SA and Mrs. Aussie M&M and I headed off towards the Adelaide Hills. Of course getting home was just going be another caching adventure.
Another quick stop on the way for a quick find in the obvious spot. At this rate we may be home for Christmas.
Thanks Hercs&pinky for the cache and making the trip home a pleasure.

Geofamily trip to Victoria... Cool!
Mrs Moneydork, Moneydork, sushilord and I left Friday morning for a 4 day jaunt over the border to find a cache or two
Two nights in Wangaratta and then a night in Bendigo left me with 10 DNFs and 205 cache finds one of which was a FTF
Day 1 and the loooong drive to Wangaratta meant only 18 finds today accompanied by 3 DNFs
Loving the history lessons of this area we are learning as we find these caches [^]
Caches that actually have a reason for their placement [^]

The geofamily are off on another trip to Mexico. Fun, sore backsides (for some) and Dad getting the geomobile stuck and breaking his bike, TWICE were the highlights of the trip. One of the running jokes for the trip was 'If it's 2.5T it's laying on the ground, if it's 2.5D it's under that pile of rocks or in the open, if it's listed as large we are looking for an eclipse tin' which came about due to a number of early finds. The lasting memory from this trip will be the grass seeds!!!
All we could think of here was bulla ice cream.
Thanks for the cache Hercs&pinky.

Found at 1042. Found while on our way to Wodonga from Mildura. A quick drive by for us today. TFTC.
TFTC. Found while returning to Swan Hill, after an afternoon of relatives, food, more relatives, and lots more food, but as my Uncles who are twins only ever have one 80 th birthday, a person has to do what is required of him, and so to burn off a bit of excess food, I go geocaching, and this was one that needed my attention, thanks for the hide, hercs &pinky, it was found reasonably quick, and after the rain in last couple weeks, still dry inside, stampsigned, replaced where found
