Heading back to Bendigo from Mildura via Swan Hill today with LittleBoss2 and Geo the puppy. Quick find, thanks again Herksn Pinky
Quick find with Bogonghazy and Geo dog. Spent a week up in the Mildura area caching and golfing. Last lot of caches on our trip home. Thanks for placing the geocache
Motorhoming around in winter and finding a cache here and there. It's almost Spring & very windy, as we start heading home to Queensland. TFTC
Time to move on today as we made the short trip from Swan Hill to Robinvale. On the trip we pulled up for caches where it was safe to do so with a caravan in tow. There wasn't a lot of traffic on the road so this was mostly easy. The countryside began to change as we approached Robinvale with fruit farming and nuts becoming more apparent. A range of traditional caches were found on our journey.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Hercs&pinky.**SKI Pair****
Out and about caching today while travelling from Mildura to Swan Hill. Arrived at GZ and in short time found cache. Signed log. TFTC
Making our way from Mildura to Swan Hill today and finding a few caches along the way - even a bit of the new geo art at Euston. Thanks to all the COs who hid the caches for us to find as we make our way along the roads.
Heading from Swan Hill to Boundary Bend to catch up with a mate. Dropped in at this one. Didnt even attempt to find it. Was less than 10m away from GZ, but there are thousands (not exaggerating) of bull ants everywhere. I kept walking to find another path to GZ, but they are literally everywhere. Will come back another time and hopefully they arent as angry or active.
Would be the first time I found a cache I would describe as "sitting out in the open". Perhaps a muggle found it and left it? Tried to rehide in same location found but stashed to a muggle and obvious to a geocacher. Any issues hit me up. TFTC.
Replaced container
All good to go again
Our thanks to fitzy_1965 for covering the logbook

Hopefully this cache will be back in action by next weekend, depending on my health
Spent last night at Culgoa at the free camping area next to the pub.
A great spot to park for the night.
Today we head home picking up only a few caches along the way.
This was one of them. fitzy_1965 avenging a DNF.
Nice easy find here today. Cache container was broken so we put the log in a bag until the container can be replaced.

28,338. Found with minniek during our visit to Mildura for the Community Celebration Event and NW Victoria for a few Counties.
With a Community Celebration Event on offer in Mildura this weekend, we decided another visit was worth the drive to attend it and knock off the last of the NW Vic Counties we need. We left home on Friday and free-camped overnight at Hay. Another few hours and we arrived in Mildura. We cached for an hour, then attended the fun event. Then headed south to grab a few counties. We free camped it last night at the Kaneira Pub (fabulous), and now we are heading home via a few more caches. This one was a nice quick find at GZ. I didn't have a big enough bag to cover the whole cache, so I put the log in a plastic bag to protect it until the COs can make some repairs. Stamped the log, replaced the cache as found, then we headed off to the next cache on the list.
Thanks Hercs&pinky !!

Decent size with many swappables unfortunately the lid is cracked and we didn't have anything to repair it with so we have messaged the owner to let them know it needs maintenance. TFTC
#12970 - 2:23:00 PM; Day 3 of the Wang Mega tour with Sol de lune. We didn't quite get to Echuca last night, but we did enjoy comfortable accommodation and a great meal at the Falcon Hotel on the highway right next door to the Downunder Dunny. After collecting that cache, we set off for Echuca and a spot of caching in and around the town, avenging a couple of GCA DNFs from our previous visit. We are now well underway as we head west for our next overnight destination, Mildura. After collecting some adventure labs and a bit to eat in Swan Hill, we picked up more caches along the way including this one. No problems getting our names into the log, before continuing on our mission. TFTC Hercs&pinky
After a couple of great days in and around Wang at the Mega, followed by a drive to Echuca, LuckyL10n and I were now on the road from Echuca to Mildura. The plan today was to stop for a few selected caches...those that looked good, those with a few favourtie points..as well all the regular and large caches we could find.
Left Echuca around 9.30am, arriving in Mildura around 6.00pm. All caches we attempted were found, apart from the one that was completely burnt out, so all up a good road trip. Now home
and it's time to log.
Thanks to all owners the along the way, and apologies for the generic log.

We stayed at nearby Tamit Station View campground and had our mandatory COVID test and breakfast in Robinvale, and were on our way to Echuca. To break up the journey, we thought we would do a little caching along the way. We made a guess about the cache container for this cache and we were sort of correct. We would love to know the varieties of seeds at the nearby Seedbank, is it there in case the current federal Government keeps stuffing up on Climate policy and we go into meltdown? The cache is in excellent condition. We dropped a pathtag for a future finder to keep. Thank you for this cache Hercs&pinky.
Found as Nicnax with PapaGrouch. We stopped and found this one on our way past today. An interesting place that we wouldn't have noticed except for the cache bringing us here. TFTC
We have a seed bank on Phillip Island which I have volunteered in on occasions, so know how valuable the work that goes on here is. Im pleased you highlighted this facility to geocachers. I found the cache here a relatively easy find under a magnificent, huge, old Mallee tree which provided some shade from the fierce sun which caused the 37 degrees temperatures today. The cache and its contents were good condition.
FORE!
A hole in one here on the front nine in the fading daylight.
Took tec-screws, butter menthol & bottle cap.
Left a slinky for the kids. [8)]
Planted the cache out of sight.
Thanks for the history lesson Herks&pinky

Found during our COVID 2020 Murray River trip. While Melbourne was in a state of turmoil rural Victoria was still okay, and with 4 weeks leave, and all the borders closed we decided the only warmish place in Vic was going to be as north as we could get. After a decade or so travelling north and west we started on the trips we'd left til later - the Murray River. Starting from East Gippsland we got to Wemen out of Robinvale before they announced Victoria was going back into Stage 3. Now we're working our way back home and avoiding Melbourne. Found this along the way. TFTC. DJ
Found it. Cache was out in the open and not hidden at all so we decided to try and cover it up a little bit. Thanks for the cache!!!
On the long way to Melbourne for the AGP F1 grabbing caches as I go. TFTC

Found on a return trip home to Mildura. TFTC Cache was easily found and all is still in good condition
Suscoe was out today enjoying another gloriously sunny Swan Hill day.
It had been near to zero overnight but today made up for that with beautiful sunshine, no wind to worry us and blue skies from one horizon to the other.
We headed to the north of Swan Hill today taking in Nyah and Tooleybuc and many places in between.
Thanks to Hercs&pinky for this hide, nice to know the seedbank is here.

TFTC,
Our reason for going to South Australia this trip was to see how many cashes we could do in one day. The Yorke Peninsular was our target and in 14 hours 15 minutes we found 871 caches.
Today was our second day of reduced caching as we work our way towards the Clear Water MEGA. We have made it to Urana and want to cache around The Rock in the morning before we get to our overnight camp.
Visited trackables.

After staying nearby, on our way to Mega at Queanbeyan. Quick find, great camo. Stamped Wazza9 and Team GBS & Nana nel. Thanks to Hercs&pinky.
This was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero while out caching with wazza9 and Nana Nel. We stamped the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
A short stop and find, a well designed container with a bit of thought. Cache is all good.
A huge weekend away, with over 2000km being driven over 3 days from Adelaide to Mansfield via swan hill and Echuca, then return via Bendigo and St Arnaud. The target was to collect 11 new local government areas and mostly stop and do some multis.
But the main goal was tour of Mansfield, a cycling tour consisting of 3 stages over 2 days (Saturday and Sunday).
Stage 1: 14km Individual time time trail.
Stage 2: 76km road race finishing up old Tolmie
Stage 3: 46km road race finishing up the top of mt bulla.
Wednesday I left Adelaide for Victoria via pinnaroo, I decided I would stop when I had enough of driving. I camped in the back of a cemetery yes a cemetery, nice and peaceful in Nyah. Thursday I made my way from Nyan to Mansfield via Swan Hill, Echuca and Shepparton with 2 trips over the boarder. A lot of DNFs on caches as some were barrow red off due to road works and others I must if stuffed up. I ended up camping the night in Mansfield. Friday I held my event in Mansfield with a big show of 1 (just myself)!!! And went for a drive up mt bulla. Saturday was mainly racing and Sunday after the race I made my way back to Adelaide via Victorias oldest cache and some new roads through the middle of victoria that I had never been on before.. With arrival on Monday at 1am back home. A big trip out and a great weekend away with a little under 100 finds.
Thanks for the cache placements by all the cache owners.

Looks like someone may have accidentally found this one then left it out in the open. I hid it a bit
TFTC. On a mission to collect caches we had bypassed when we moved camp from Tooleybuc to Nyah the other day. Did not understand the title of the cache until we pulled up, then the penny dropped. The find was quick.
A quick stop today on our way home from Swan Hill. Liked the added touch on the container. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC
The coordinates were out a little bit for us here but the cache container was quickly found in the obvious place.
Having not read the cache description until I was logging the find I was a bit confused about the name of this one. But now it all makes perfect sense .
A well maintained cache container with a novel twist.
Thanks.

On my way to WOOD WOOD to visit my niece, and this cache was on the way, so why would a cacher go past without an attempt at finding it, I did stop, made the find stamped my sign, replaced as found, Thanks Hercs&pinky, all is good with this hide
On our way home from a weeks holiday in Adelaide, and needed some breaks - and what better way to take a break than a cache! Found easily - thanks H&P.
7261 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1550. After a bit of a detour from Hattah via Chillingollah to Nyah we needed to find a cache. Why we have driven past this spot so many times in the last few months ? It is time to stop and SL Tnx Hercs&pinky

While exploring new territory today, we learnt more about the Mallee and its history, called at some interesting townships and of course looked for a number of the many caches hidden in the area.
Interesting to learn about the change in focus of land use here - had to smile at the theme of the hide.
Thanks 'Hercs&pinky' for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

We have commenced Part 2 of our holiday. Part 1 was Easter at Morisset and we came home to sort out some family business. Now we are heading back to Bendigo after some time in South Australia.
After a comfortable night camping in the Piangal rest area we headed off caching around Tooleybuc and towards Nyah. The cache was exposed so we made sure it was covered.

Each year I follow the Aust Solo Speedway Championships which are held over four meetings. This year those meetings are at Kurri Kurri nsw, Undera vic, Mildura vic, and Gillman sa.
It only seems sensible to do some geocaching along the way. It helps to break the driving and I get a lot of enjoyment from it.
Please excuse this generic log as there are too many to do them individually, but I certainly appreciate the dedicated work of all the COs in providing us with this great hobby.

A fruitless exercise, testing our resolve. Had to throw in the towel eventually. Will keep an eye on the post as I see we were not the first that ended up empty handed. Will revisit again at a later stage.
Even though I thought I knew what I was looking for I had no luck here today...
Adelaide Trip September 2017. Day 11. The last day of my trip took me from the Murray River to Canberra via Toolybuc, Hay and Wagga. The day started well with a few fun bush hides, then I started getting DNF after DNF. I had to give up and head onwards.
Thanks.
