Coords had us on the wrong side. Container in poor condition. No trains here today. TFTC.
Passing through Goulburn today we took the opportunity to stop here. This cache was a straightforward find in the obvious location, however as per previous logs is in poor condition. Thanks!
Quick pick up of a few caches on our way through Goulburn today. TFTC Countrykittykat!
The day's caching was focused in and around Goulburn. Nice to be clearing out some of the long-term stragglers. TFTC
Today was an absolutely amazing day for geocaching! I woke up early, packed my bag with all the necessary gear, including my GPS and hiking boots, and hit the road. The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and I was ready to take on the world of geocaching. The first cache I set out to find was in a nearby park, nestled in a dense thicket of trees. As I approached the coordinates, I noticed a fellow geocacher making his way towards the same spot. We exchanged greetings and introduced ourselves, and it turned out we were both after the same monster of a cache. We decided to work together and started our search, combing through the underbrush, climbing trees, and scouring hidden nooks and crannies. After what seemed like hours of intense searching, we finally found the cache. The feeling of pure euphoria and triumph that washed over us was indescribable. We let out a loud scream of "*FTF*!" (Even though it wasnt), high-fived each other, and took a celebratory picture. That was just the beginning of our geocaching adventures. We went on to find several more caches, each one more challenging and exciting than the last. We even stumbled upon a cache hidden under a waterfall, which was both thrilling and refreshing. As the day wore on, we started to notice a strange phenomenon happening around us. Every time we found a cache, we felt a surge of energy and power that we couldn't quite explain. We joked about having tapped into "The Force," and laughed as we imagined ourselves as Jedi knights of the geocaching universe. At one point, we found ourselves lost in a thicket of dense foliage, struggling to find the next cache. As we trudged through the underbrush, we suddenly heard a strange noise. It sounded like a person whistling a tune, but the source of the sound was nowhere to be seen.Suddenly, a man appeared out of nowhere, seemingly materializing from the trees themselves. He was tall and lean, with skin as dark as coffee and an easy smile on his face."Hey guys," he said, "looks like you're lost. Need some help?"We were hesitant at first, having been taught not to accept help from strangers. But there was something about this man that put us at ease. Maybe it was his friendly demeanor, or maybe it was the fact that we were all geocachers, united by the same passion.Either way, we accepted his offer and followed him deeper into the woods. He led us to a hidden waterfall that we never would have found on our own, and we were able to find the cache that was nestled behind it.As we signed the logbook and recorded our names, we turned to thank the stranger who had helped us. But he was gone, vanished into thin air like a mysterious apparition. As we made our way back to civilization, we couldn't help but marvel at the strange and wondrous events of the day. We had found caches in places we never would have imagined, felt the power of "The Force", and even encountered a friendly stranger who seemed to have some kind of magical powers. In the end, it was a day filled with adventure, fun, excitement, and unexpected surprises. We were all exhausted but exhilarated, our hearts and minds filled with the thrill of the hunt and the joy of discovery. This was a day we would never forget, and one that we knew would inspire us to keep exploring the world of geocaching and all its many wonders. We couldn't wait to see what other amazing treasures were waiting for us out there, just waiting to be found. So if you're ever looking for a great time and an adventure like no other, join us in the world of geocaching. Who knows what incredible treasures you might discover, what random strangers you might meet, or what hidden powers you might uncover? The possibilities are endless, and the rewards are truly priceless.
Found 12/07/24. Cache needs replacing as it is falling apart and full of holes
Found after a short search, I had to expand my radius a bit. Thanks for the cache Countrykittykat
Cache 10773 on 27 Nov 2023. Up in Goulburn for the day and using some spare time to grab a few easy local caches! Last time I concentrated on multis, today is all about the trads! And maybe some ALs ! Quick find once I was looking on the right side of the bridge ! Cache container cracked, and logs could do with a tidy! Thanks Countrykittykat for the cache and the fun!
pleaseee be aware of spiders, had an absolute heart attack cause a huntsman jumped at me, great spot though
First cache of the day and as I was walking back to the car I saw the kitty over at the horse supplies store. I went over to pet her and there was another bonus kitty. As I drove away I spotted a third extra bonus kitty!
A good start to the morning if I were kitty-spotting. No trains tho.

Heading south & managed to grab this after a short search. Had to wait for muggles to disappear.
Didn’t take too long to find once we were looking on the right side. Grabbed this on our way south. Tftc
Found this one on a run to Grabine for a few days, but was a bit dissapointed I didnt get to see any trains. Tftc
Arrived at GZ and commence our search. We looked extensively on one side and were about to give up when a geokid had the thought to check the other side. In no time at all we had located the cache. We signed the log and returned it to its hiding place. The log was very full so we had to squeeze our name on to a small space.
As we were about the leave a VERY long freight train passed by. The geokids refused to leave the bridge until ALL the cars had passed us by. What felt like a few minutes the last car passed underneath and we were back on our way again.

Our first approach to this one was thwarted by a muggle so we had to return later. On return we were diverted initially by the GPSr, but then commonsense kicked in and we made the find. Sadly no trains to be seen during our visit.
We've had some great days in Goulburn and a few mixed ones with showers. Mornings are cold but it often improves during the day.
The caching has been excellent though with most hides in good order and a variety of types and hides with some puzzles we have been able to solve pre arrival. We have enjoyed quite a number of multis that have been straightforward and that we have had success with.
We have now completed 4 of the 5 Adventure Labs but remain stuck on one!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Countrykittykat.

Tankengine and I were in town to find a couple of caches.
It was a cold, windy, wet day, but ended up being very productive.
Most caches found without issues, unless stated otherwise.
This cache: Nice quick find although I almost lost it down the slope. Tftc Countrykittykat!!!

We had the car booked in for a bit of mechanical work in Goulburn where we met up with alansee who very kindly offered to chauffeur us around on a less than perfect day for caching.
We followed the instructions on the cache page and parked at the suggested way point where unfortunately there were no steam trains to be seen but on the up side there were no train spotting muggles either so having the place to ourselves meant a nice easy search and the cache was located quickly in a logical location.
The log was a bit wet and hard to write in but provided you look hard you will be able to see our names.
Thanks Countrykittykat for the cache.

I also was directed to the other side of the road. Found it as we were just about to leave. Thanks
Well tucked away in an obvious spot. Even got the opportunity to view a long goods train while I was on the bridge. Exciting! TFTC Ckk
We had a most enjoyable day of caching around Goulburn. Sunday is always a great day to do caches in a city. We also ventured out for a bush walk and found the Governors Hill series. Thanks to Countrykittykat for arranging this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Compass had me on the wrong side of the road, but aubeasty’s geosenses had him in the right location on the right side of the road. Original log sheet full, previous finders have added in a temp one.

On my last visit to Goulburn I couldn't search for this cache, because a man was standing at GZ. I would guess train spotting. Today I was able to make a search. Cache is good, but log is almost full and it will need a new one soon. TFTC Countrykittykat.

Hi Countrykittykat! And thank you for this one. Neat spot. And I think I collected a puzzle piece to help me towards picking up a few gem stones stolen from the museum. Happy Days!

Today Geoturtle37 and I are caching in and around the Goulburn area. We managed to get quite a few caches done and they were all interesting in their own way. Sizes locations and ease of find were varied today . Thank you to all the CO’s that made this possible. Thank you for showcasing this lovely town, it’s views, it's architecture and it's history which is certainly fascinating and worthy of the caches dedicated to it.
With hatzofff, Snickersallan and Bluewattle, on our way to the Mega at Queanbeyan over Easter.

After an early start this was our second find of the day.

Left Port Macquarie heading south to the Mega event At Canberra.
Arrived at Goulburn to attend an event, had time to do some caching while we are here.
We found the co-ords off a little & the hint ment nothing to us. Eventually we found it in a very typical roadside location.
Thanks for placing this cache Countrykittykat

Having to be in a meeting this evening, I decided to drive down early and grab a few caches. I saw a series and thought it would be a good one for starters.
After that, I grabbed a few in the city. This was a quick little find on a side street.

I was a little disappointed at my timing on this one - a freight train was just disappearing from view as I pulled up near the cache. It would have been nice to watch it go by!
