Logs
Out and about caching toda. After arriving at GZ and searching, finally found the cache and signed the log. TFTC
Not a kangaroo to be seen anywhere but I suppose it is the middle of the day! A fairly easy find. Thanks.
Found with VScouts. Out for the day to do a scout hike. Easy find on a humid day.
On a weekend walk around Coombabah reserve, I decided to find all these caches again.
I found this cache, all was well.

We are down for a birthday celebration. So while the birthday boy prepped for the party, we went for a cache walk. Beautiful area for a cache and we got a picture of a baby sleeping whe Mum grazed. TFTC we loved it.
We detoured from the main route to collect this cache as well. Nice area to explore. Tftc
Gold Coast Show holiday. Go for a nice walk in Coombabah Reserve. Pick up a few cashe along the way
Enjoyable ride through the wetlands to grab this lonely cache. Tftc. Listed trackable isn't here
Rode the bikes out to the cache today, and ventured through the spiderwebs to eventually find the cache
Love this area walked it a million times. Glad we found geocaching makes our usual walks more fun
What a lovely walk we enjoyed while on our way to this geocache. We were able to take a little tour while on the way to this cache due to the fact of the access issues. We thought it was a bit difficult to get to but really when you see the benefit of the walk to GZ it is a plus and not a minus. How fortunate are the people who live facing this water at their back fence. We loved the bench seats, steps, rod holders, bbq's etc we saw as we walked along. Very pleasant.
Thanks bradgolfy for placing this cache and bringing us here. A nice unloved period we gained too. More people should come along here and find the cache. A lovely area.
Cheers and happy caching!

Decided to check all the caches in Coombabah Lakelands today. This cache was present and all fine.
The tupperware container seems to be keeping the moisture out.

Out for a day of caching with stortigirls and RoddyC. We checked one way to access this cache, but the way was blocked by a locked gate. We found another way in further along the road. I parked the geomobile and we took a pleasant stroll to GZ. Along the way, wee passed a family of kangaroos who watched us as we walked past. At GZ we made a quick find. After addding our names to the log and rehiding the cache, we headed back to the geomobile. On the way back, the family of kangaroos gave us a wide berth, but we couldn't see the buck. He was spotted at the top of a short flight of stairs, looking over the back gate into a nearby property. TFTC
I was out for a caching day today with Mr & Mrs RoddyC and Selva Girls exploring the area. We had cleared the wetland trail earlier in the day, and this afternoon parked in a nearby street and made the walk in to gz. We passed a family of roos on the way, with Papa standing his ground and eyeing us off on the way in, and waiting at the back gate of a house looking over their fence on the way back...maybe he wanted to watch the footy?? Thanks for the cache and the walk with nature bradgoldy
We came across your cache, bradgoldy, on a Saturday geocacher day in the company of Selva Girls and Story I girls.
Nice quick find in the late afternoon.
Log signed and cache replaced at 4:36 PM on June 23, 2018. TFTC.

We've been eyeing this cache off for a few days now, just waiting for a chance to seek the smiley.
Last day before heading home, and the hunt was on.
Not wanting to end our trip with a DNF (thanks to a previous cache) we were hoping for a quick find.
We enjoyed the lovely walk along the waters edge on dusk, and managed to bump into a couple of the locals before our hunt began.
A quick search of the area and we soon had the cache in hand. Sadly, no TB's as listed in the inventory, but putting our scribble on the log was reward enough.
If we're back in the area on our next holiday, we'd love to come back and explore this beautiful area more. Thanks for bringing is here.

Found it while on holiday with NikLibSteph. Staying nearby and enjoyed the stroll down here to make the find. Saw some kangaroos too. Nice spot. TFTC
As stated, this was an easy find. The somewhat bland container was actually a bit of a let down compared to the HNT caches also searched for today.
Saw many kangaroos on this trip through the Coombabah tracks! Thanks for the hide!
Out on a maintenance run in the area. It was great to find a cache as well. All nice and dry. TFTC.
This was a pleasant walk and a nice location. There were a few roos about the place, and stood staring at me as I passed on by. At GZ, the coordinates were good and I spied the edge of the container under some natural camo.
There was a TB in residence so I retrieved it to help it continue on its journey.
Thanks to bradgoldy for placing this cache.

Out for a run on the geocycle this morning. Almost all of the roos I spotted today were lying down. Must be nap time.
I was quite surprised that the mozzies were not to bad either. Maybe my repellent band was actually working.
A nice quick find here. Swapped TBs. There was only the one TB in the container.

On a long mountain bike ride ride from Paradise Point with Geo-man and 10yr old Geo-kid. Sent in the Geo-kid for the grab. He says it wasn't covered very well so we gave him the job of fixing that when he returned it. TFTC
Let's say a few wrong turns before we decided to try the bit of a walk...did not disappoint.... saw a big grey right away, followed it and came across the mob! Then almost got carried away by mozzies! ! Thanks for the cache!
Spending the morning caching in this peaceful spot in Coombabah. This was the 1st find. A lot of pesky mosquitos. TFTC!
TFTC bradgoldy Gee that took me a while, phone was sending me all over the place. Nice hide and the cache is in great condition and nice and dry. It is getting dark and a squadron of mozzies are trying to suck me dry so back onto the bike and away I go.
It's been quite some time since I was in here last. I did think about having a go at the ftf back when it was first published as I noticed GCSteve failed on his first attempt. He was keen for another look in the morning, plus he was on 99 finds at the time so with a chance he might make a ftf at his first major milestone I decided to leave it for another day. Nice to see he did make it back for a ftf the next morning. Well done Steve.
Well it's been just on 3 months so I figured it was about time I pulled my finger out and took a ride around the wetlands and of course find your first cache Brad. I took the long way this morning, opting to head west along the tracks up to the canal then following the canal to GZ. Once in the general area I started my search but failed to see it on my first sweep, some how. I then wandered around checking multiple locations before going back and... how did I miss that.
Co-ords were spot on, it was just a bit of cache blindness I guess. With the formalities done I was soon back on the deadly treadly heading for the car.
Thanx heaps bradgoldy, thats a nice first hide.

Out for an afternoon of caching.
This was my first one for the day. Interesting to find another entrance to the lakelands.
I enjoyed walking between the creek and the houses. Lots to see.
A quick find at GZ.
An excellent first hide. Keep it up.

This one gave us a bit of hassle trying to locate the position on the GPS but a nice hide. TFTC
Quick detour on my way back from Dreamworld to search for this new cache. Co-ords were spot on and a nice neat hide was found, well done bradgoldy & TFTC
Went for a quick look with GCGem but didn't find it in the dark. Forgot the spray but fortunately no mossies. Will try again in daylight.
Yay FTF. Picked up the TB. One for GCGem and one for myself. TFTC Easy find in daylight.
