Visiting from Tasmania. This is day 1 after arriving at Christchurch at 2am this morning. There's a bit of caching paydirt around Kaikoura, so we're into it. Thanks for bringing us down this picturesque little drive after dinner. No one much about except the free campers, so all good going here. And a very rustyk cache into the bargain is to be had here ! Thanks FissieCrew
On our way back we took the chance and grabbed the cache because the construction workers have already been gone for today
Today we drove from Hanmer Springs to Kaikoura. We enjoyed the different landscapes and stopped to look for one or two caches. They were all in good condition. At the coast the Wind was really strong. But we signed our names. Many thanks to all the owners and greetings from the Moorhelmi

A summertime trip to the South Island, what could be better. Day five, and having flown to Christchurch and then driven to Timaru on day one, and cached around Timaru on day two, and back up to Christchurch to see a band play on day three, and then up to Kaikoura to see the same band play again on day four, it was time to chill out and check out the town. Along the way I'll be looking for Geocaches, and here's one I found. Had to wait around a bit while the kayak people finished a training session. A quick find after that. --- Thanks to FissieCrew for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues. There is a Mungee QR code less than a meter away. I thought that was the cache at first. I scanned it with the Mungee app, but it was archived. Next, we found the actual cache. TFTC!

Our third find for the day. All was quiet at GZ and we located the cache quickly thanks to the hint. As noted by the previous finder, the container is rusty and has lost its lid but the log was surprisingly dry. TFTC jofish3.

Before we slept nearby at our campervan, we searched for this cache. We couldn't log it because of the missing lid but we 've taken a photo as a proof.
We found this one, but as the lid was missing, the logbook was all wet. A photo is available as a proof that we really found it. Maybe the owner could provide a new box for this nice location?
