Stopped in Goulburn to pick up a few more caches before heading further south with goingplaces2. It was not a really quick find here but two more names were added to the log. TFTC.
Spending a short time in Goulburn with ilook4geo. Had a little list of target caches to find and each was found successfully. We had to look from the right angle to see the door to the den. Thanks for this cache placement go to B0tmun.
Cheeky little bugger! Came to watch the sunset after a long day of tennis. So much history and so beautiful so of course we had to do a geocache. TFTC
Found 09/08/24. 3rd attempt at this, keep in mind the car park marked on the map is used by a fair amount of people so getting spotted by muggles is a possibility. Didnt expect this location, but avoiding the cacti and being on the right angle helped. TFTC.
A tricky hide, but fortunately accompanied by previous finders we located the cache relatively quickly today. Thanks, B0tmun.
Not the most obvious place to look. An enjoyable, if some what freezing cold day, picking up caches in Goulburn. TFTC
Had a stop here at the Goulburn War Memorial on our way home after a week in Vic. Quickly found but geo luck was on my side. I stumbled on it while moving to a more prominent location. Thanks for sharing this lovely location B0tmun #2704
After spending a couple of weeks in Canberra attending the Mega Event it was time to head back to Brisbane. We have a few weeks to travel so we are meandering up through country NSW. Today we were in Goulburn so found this cache while sightseeing around town. We had a look around the nearby museum and memorial then made our way up and over to GZ. An easy find after a short search. Thanks to all the CO's for placing the caches for us all to find.
On way home after Capital GeoBash Mega, doing some caches on the long drive. Like this one to fill out my Jasmar list of older caches, TFTC
Found with barnzy, Leg5, Lachlan1.77 after this mornings CITO.After an early morning start for a CITO nearby I offered my ladder and pole to the WAC boys from the west, on condition I could tag along. They had a number of high D/T caches they had planned to get and just needed some TOTTs to reach them.A fun morning of caches with these lads.TFTC B0tmunKeep smiling

Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. All logs have been signed as WAC to save space, abbreviation for Western Australia Crew. Cheers B0tmun! Join us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!
The Cockburn Crew are on tour at the Capital Geobash in Canberra - travelling from Perth to Sydney, Canberra, Sydney and finally back to Perth.Today was day 6. We completed a huge number of trails, challenges, whereigos, traditional, multis, earthcaches, labs, virtuals and puzzles. It really was a great day for variety. We enjoyed caching in territory we havent been before. Weve filled our boots with some rare DTs and DTTs and generally had a great time. Thanks to the COs for a great day and event. Logs signed as part of team WA/WAC (WA Crew)
On my way to the Mega, day four. Around Goulburn on the deadly treadly collecting mainly AdLabs.Must be very small bears around here. Nice view though. Thanks, Robmc.
Arrived in Goulburn today, for a few days before the canberra Mega, picking up the Labs an the Bonus around town. Pased this one during one of the stages.Total Caches Found 15430TFTC B0tmun
Four years ago, a Bromance team adventure to hike Australia's highest 10 peaks in Kosciuszko National Park was cancelled after bushfires devastated the Snowy Mountains (and indeed most of the Eastern seaboard). We finally returned to Kosciuszko National Park a few days ago and spent three wonderful days in perfect weather hiking a circuit around the mountains climbing all of Australia's 13 highest peaks and collecting all the alpine caches along our route. After a recovery night and some caching in Canberra, we made our way to Gouburn last night, where we enjoyed a big feed at the pub before an early night. We have lots of caches planned today on our way to Sydney, so we got an early start. The visit to the Rocky Hill War Memorial was a highlight in Goulburn. After finding the nearby tree fishing cache, I stopped at this one, which my travelling companions had collected on a previous trip. Whilst they waited in air conditioned comfort, I searched carefully, in case of snakes - in the heat for a lot longer than I should have. I got there eventually. TFTC B0tmunPete#7,729
My gps on phone was jumping around but alas it was right where we started our search! Great hide!!
The size of it got me for a bit but all good in the end, nice spot for a cache. TFTC
A second visit up to the Rocky Memorial - this time in the daylight, so we could see those prickly cacti! Found the Bears Den easily and SL at 9.45am Left: lady bird #10,304 TFTC B0tmun - we are enjoying our visit to Goulburn from NEVictoria.
Didn’t see any bears up here today but since I was already here for the AL I decided to take a peak. It really wasn’t what I was expecting as the hide is now a micro but that said I did take one of the best photos of the day while I was here. Just a magnificent location with those rocks! TFTC
Cute little spot, definitely not around the big rock as you’d suspect. Found with Hurley Detectives

Day 3/4 of our Mittagong/Goulburn Trip.
Today we targeted lots of good DT’s around the Goulburn/Brayton area, while also grabbing letterboxes and other cool cache types in between. We found some great caches in some amazing areas.
Took us a while to find, was thinking it would be a bit bigger… Somehow it’s dry but may not be that way for much longer. Full log.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache B0tmun

Today we’re caching around Goulburn. We have grabbed the odd roadside rest-cache here in previous stops, but have never spent any time caching the area.
We’re chasing some DTs we need today, and of course anything that appears at our bow, plus the essential trig points…
Took a bit, we were looking for a cave… watch out for the cacti. Coords were pretty good, we didn't need to climb the rocks though.
Thanks for the cache!

5/6/23 - When I heard that there was a CITO on in Goulburn, I knew I could go but would my car make it? I am having car problems. However, waking up this morning, I decided before the rain coming later this week, I would go out and find some caches and attend the CITO, today. This is one of the caches I DNF or found and added to today's Geocaching adventure. I had a bad start with six caches becoming a DNF or a NA due to muggles. Once on the next second half of the day I started to actually find caches. I ended up with 23 finds for the day. Also, before you ask, yes my car did get me home. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO's of the caches I found today and for allowing them to bring the Geocaching community enjoyment. TFTE & TFTC's A nice quick find here at this one. Interesting container.
on my way home from Sydney with the eldest geokiddie and some spare time, so we popped up to check out the tower. pity it was closed and we couldn't climb it.
found the cache after 10 mins of searching. as others have said, log is full, but we squeezed into a faded row.

OCW Suedan83 today. We went for a tour all around goulburn and surrounds with a couple of DNFs but happy I can count this as one that we found. Creative cache container.

Exploring some site around Goulburn with the geokids. Needed a walk to help food settle. Saw this on our journey and suggested we give it a go.
Found the path easily and shortly arrived at GZ. Now here we spent a bit more time. First we were looking in the wrong area (dang gsp), checked the navigation and changed our zone.
One geokid spotted the location and had a quick look and claimed there was nothing there. We kept searching and ended up coming back to the location and it was suggested he have a really good look... this time he actually moved items and roar the bears den was uncovered.
Log very full. We squeezed onto a little space we found on it.
Amazing view of Goulburn and the watch tower from this vantage point. Spent a little bit if time exploring the area and due to being time poor had to head back out and home.

A quick trip to Goulburn with ZQX and TikvaNZ to pick up a few caches that have appeared in recent times. We picked a glorious day for it, blue skies forever!
Found this one on the way past, tricky hide. Cache in good shape.
Thanks B0tmun for the cache and the fun!

Have a favorite point. Nice hide, nice views. There is an extremely nasty and thorny cactus close to but not at GZ. There is no need to go poking in or around it. I was lucky enough to find the cache first, but it got me anyway, through the sole of my sneaker. Thanks, B0tmun.
Found the cache. Nice spot for a hide but I think the coords are a tiny bit out and the hint is a bit misleading. I had myself looking in a bush that a really shouldn’t be putting my hand into.
Hint for future searchers: the name of the cache is a good enough hint for where it is hidden.

Stopped for this one after visiting the war memorial. Took some time to find it.
Our first full day in Goulburn, and what a great day weather wise it was.
We had a number of Adventure Labs in our sight, as we always enjoy them, and different locations put on different slants which gives us ideas for a Lab credit we have to use when we get home..
We tried to pick up any caches we went near en route which becomes complicated, juggling phones, GPSrs and ipad maps for the overview, as well as the car GPS!
We found a variety of caches and hides, generally all in good condition and saw some of the sites of Goulburn.
Our only downside was a flat tyre late in the day, but even then a lovely bloke stopped and offered to help!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache B0tmun.

Day 4 of our 2 week road trip south from Brisbane. The first three days have been nothing but trouble. Floods to be avoided on day 1, bogging the car for most of day 2 and the in-car fridge deciding to stop working properly on day 3. Starting day 4 hoping things can only get better...
In the planning phase of my trip I had this cache on my itinerary for today but as I added more and more to my to-do list, the recent DNF's saw me cull this cache from the schedule. Unexpectedly I found myself closer to this cache than anticipated and decided it was worth a look while I was here. Although I did not hold out much hope, I eventually managed to locate the hide, with the hint not proving particularly useful in my search. All safe and well here today. TFTC

Decrypter and I came up here to find a bonus cache, and naturally couldn't not find your cache while here . We wandered about before we finally spotted the micro sized cache (You have it rated a small. It's micro.) While here we filled two bags with rubbish. TFTC B0tmun.

A six day road trip to the mega event in Wangaratta. The first day was a drive from Sydney to the first stop in Goulburn where I would meet up with Brewmaker the next day. Travelling along the Hume highway I stopped over at Berrima and at a few locations along the Hume highway where I could find some easy 'park and grabs'.
Great hide which was found after completing the Adventure Lab Cache - War Memorials of Goulburn.
This was 27 of 129 finds. TFTC!

#12532 - 11:18:00 AM; After a couple of trips out to Braidwood which cleared most of our unfound caches in that area, today I headed north with Sol de lune to clear a few of the caches around the city. While we had a couple of caches on our 'to do' lists for the day, it was mainly an improvised run as we went. Remarkably, it pretty took us past our 'to do' caches without too much backtracking, while picking up others as we made our way around. I think I may have paid a visit here beforfe, but without success. Sdl had no memory of making the find some years ago, but in the end spotted something and was able to guide me in for the find. We were in the area this morning finishing off an Adventure Lab when we noticed this cache nearby. It took about 10 minutes of hunting before one of us saw something interesting and on closer inspection, the cache was discovered. The cache and contents were in good condition. This morning was a late start, and a late finish this afternoon, coming to Goulburn via Collector all the way from Canberra and back again. We were targeting Adventure Labs and EarthCaches with the odd puzzles here and traditional caches there.
This cache was a quick pickup on our way to completing an Adventure Lab. Took longer to find than it should have Grrrr.. TFTC BOtmun.

After a previous DNF here today we made a very easy find spotting it from several meters away. Found with SJG66 on a day out in Goulburn, doing all of the AL's and as many old style Geocaches as we could fit in. TFTC.
Out on the motorcycles on a gorgeous afternoon and we spotted this tower on the hill. Decided to come on up to see what it was all about, grabbed this whilst were here.

Catching up with missed logs from our recent holiday.
We had the car booked in for a bit of mechanical work in Goulburn where we met up with alansee who very kindly offered to chauffeur us around on a less than perfect day for caching.
This was the last for the day, the rain was threatening so we decided to call it a day after we located this cache and added our names to the log.
