A quick little overnight trip to Hawkes Bay and then up to Taup and back home to find some Adventure Labs and to hopefully qualify for the S39 Challenge. It wasn't too strainous to get this, a bit if frost on the ground, but the container's original contents would warm me up.All good here, and thank you to nzkites for the placement of your Traditional Cache.Find #6691 at 27 April 2024 7:39am
Heading north towards Taupo, rattll and I pulled over here to make this find. I'd barely got out of the car before rattll had the cache in hand. Found a TB inside, although not one that was actually supposed to be there! Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
Nope, no strain getting this at all.A quick grab as matagouri and I head towards home. Thanks for putting this here
Found yesterday 17/3 (sorry forgot to log) on my way home from Taupo . Tftc (: Left a trackable
Another place to strech my legs....Many thanks nzkites My first time driving this route on my own .
Stopped here on our return journey towards home after our annual Xmas caching roadtrip.Heavy showers had just stopped when we arrived, nice quick find, dropped off a TB TFTC.
A quick stop on our way past heading to Napier and a nice quick find.Very quiet while we found, signed and returned the cache with no traffic passing at all. But there were a few cows mooing nearby.TFTC
Stopped for a bit to see if we could find, no luck. Not sure if its worth checking as roadworks and new sign has been put up recently in this corner.
When we headed over to Hastings for the blossom festival we saw this one was on the other side of the road so made a point of getting it on the way back especially with the good parking. Cache is all good. Thanks for the placement.
Heading back to Taupo and a quick park and find. Bugger 2 big trucks just passed us while stopped though.
Short stop on our way to Rotorua - nomen est omen.
Thank you for the cache

Quick drive by even though we were pointing the wrong way. Kids did a swap. TFTC!
Quick find here. Unfortunately those trucks we just passed are getting in front of us again. No issues. Took a travel bug. TFTC nzkites.
Eighth day of a 10 day trip round the bottom half of the North Island for RG1972 and I, and today is travelling Taupo to Napier. Some retail therapy in Taupo to start the day (we found some very good stores), then the drive to the bay with a few cache stops to break the travel. No real goals here - just some caches for the numbers, and all will nudge me toward some longitude/latitude challenge goals. We do get to finally get some caches in Hawkes Bay, so that is the penultimate region ticked off. Just East Cape to go. Relaxed for the rest of the day, then plotted our activities for Saturday. Thanks all COs.

Pleased there was plenty of room for the bus to park so I was able to quickly grab the cache. TFTC
The coin is missing. A quiet spot, except for the passing vehicles!!
Jude_E, NosyNel and I are continuing on our figure of 8 tour of the North Island collecting the ‘Tour’ caches, plus others, plus seeing the scenery, plus having a good old time. TFTC.

Another good place to stop on the way west. I am on a North Island Figure of Eight tour. For the first 4 days I spend time in the Bay of Plenty with my husband JDScout in Rotorua. Now I am on part two of the eight loop going over to New Plymouth. This part is being done with my good friends Ethness and Jude_E.
Thanks nzkites for creating this hide. It was find 9014 for me.
======== NZ Mega 2021 ========

Muggles having bike rack problem made this one a bit hard. But we got their in the end. TFTH
A quick find. It seemed like a good safe place and a good sized (not a micro as stated in the description) cache to leave the markta’s Down Under geocoin that began its journey in Australia and which I found in Wellington a few weeks ago.
Off to Napier for a couple of days, so we picked up most of the caches on this road on the way down there, including this one. Looked in the wrong area originally but then quickly moved on and spotted it. There were Angus beefies in the nearby paddock with two farm dogs rounding them on which created a bit of distraction for us. TFTC
Heading home after a few days in Napier and noticed this hadn't been found for a while. Made a nice quick find here. It took longer to remove all the biddy bids from Mrs HeMaLuDy's woollen jumper than it did to find the cache.
Now NZ has moved to Alert Level 2, Geocaching is allowed but it’s up to each one of us to keep the rest of us safe.

Been in Taupō for the weekend doing some biking. Heading home and collecting some caches in the Taupo-Napier road. Breaks up the journey nicely. No problems finding this one. Thanks
I have a 3 month sabbatical mostly traveling around the planet. My goal is to find and log 1000 caches. New Zealand is my 4th station traveling from south Christchurch to north Auckland, my first visit here, its far away. This is my sabbatical-cache #879.

Loving these quick park and grab caches along our route home. Certainly helping to keep us awake after a couple of days of little sleep. TFTC

Found with a sister during our expedition to NZ (from CZ), where we explored part of the North Island and could visit our classmates and friends that we have not seen for several years, as it is here, in Auckland and Napier live ... Thank you for cache ...
Found as a part of a previous group TanjackMley, aka WanderingSparrow. Now I'm continuing on my own. TFTC

We had been talking about cache bash in Napier for a while, and when Cats&Dragons mentioned a trip down here this weekend I couldn't say no. The plan was to head down Friday night (leaving Hamilton about 7pm) and then cache til we can then grab a few hours sleep and then cache through til late afternoon and then head home. The plan worked well, with about 110 caches found over the 24 hour caching period.
It was the first time we had visited Napier to do a caching mission, and we were both impressed with the genius hides (some we hadn't seen before, I'll give a special mention to those ones). A big thanks to all the CO's whose caches we found, for placing and maintaining them. A great trip and looking forward to a revisit.

Travelling from Napier to Matamata via Taupo today so only stopped for caches that were safe to do so depending on the traffic. Lots of room to pull off the road here, thanks
22334 Traveling through New Zealand to see nice people and places. Also to find some geocaches.
Today we moved from Napier to Taupo, seeing nice places and visiting caches along the road. Stopping at nice villages. Looking for caches on either side of the troad. Finaly we went down town in Taupo to see the city centre
Most caches were found quite quickly. A few took more time. Muggles did not watch what we were doing and had more interest in the surrounding views.
nzkites TFTC and the fun it brought us. Theo

Wasn't too sure about the clue but glad to make a quick find in a likely spot. TFTC.
Today was a day for a one way road trip from Napier to Auckland. I flew across from Auckland to pick up our son's 'new' car after winning a Trademe auction on Monday. (Sunday I'll be starting another leg of the Auckland - Wellington - Picton - Nelson journey) Time to find a few caches along the way of course. The cache container was bigger than expected so I popped in a trackable. TFTC, Biggles.
This was the third day of my twelve day trip to go to the Wellington Mega. Today I left Rotorua and am driving down to Napier. I buzzed through here three years ago on my way to a previous Mega and while doing the CANZ series.
I pulled over in the exact right spot and found the cache in the exact right spot. TFTC.

One week off during school holiday time, combined with some cheap flights made a great adventure in the HB and Gisborne area, popping into BoP a couple of times also. I had great fun and I am grateful to all CO's who placed the caches for others' entertainment!!
TFTC!!

A beautiful day for caching! This was a quick P&G as we continue our way to Taupo. Not too sure what the hint was on about, but we found the cache regardless. Took a domino piece and left a jetplane. Thank you nzkites for the cache.
