Quick find with lukesistema as we head to our camping weekend away. Thanks for the cache.
My ears are still ringing after finding this cache. Not seen a use for one like this before. Thanks for sharing the history with us. Cache in good condition.
Our final full day in Swan Hill before heading further afield. We decided to head out of town and explore a few area we have not ventured to yet. We say quite barren appearing country on the NSW side apart from the turf farm which was oddly green amongst the rest. On the Victorian side there was lots of farmland, mainly growing crops but not much happening at this time of year. We did have to make way for a large tractor with attached discs and trailer however.A lovely day for caching, Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Hercs&pinky.**SKI Pair****
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. This is our first visit to Swan Hill and there is sooo much to see and sooo many caches nearby, leaving us spoilt for choice. With a good sleep overnight, and it not being quite so hot today, we set off with a target list. Only a few DNF today so the temperature and the rest must have done the job. TFTC Hercs&pinky [^]
Loved the information about the fence and the gates and 6 mile hill.Very appropriate for a cache here. A nice and quick find. Cache in good condition. Thanks for the history, the cache and the pleasant experience.
We were in Swan Hill to assist with the fireworks for the show tonight and as we had off loaded everything at the storage facility we had a free day to do what we wanted before starting to set up so obviously caching it was.
We were feeling much more confident driving on a bitumen road in the company car we stopped at this one and had a nice quick find but we couldn't shut the gate mate we couldn't even find the gate such is life:-). It is quite an interesting cache page as we had no idea they had these fences here. We were impressed with a vivid green on one side of the road and the brown colour of the ripe crop on the other side of the road looked quite impressive. The cache itself was a nice easy find and a log book now contains our name.
Thanks again Hercs&pinky for the cache.

Making the most of Holidays and being able to travel. I decided on a 4 day trip that seen me head up to Swan Hill then down via Lake Boga, Kerang, Koondrook, Cohuna, Leitchville, Mt Terrick Terrick NP, Corop, Colbinabbim Rushworth, Whroo and finally Nagambie (then back home to St.Arnaud). Lots of back tracks taken and lots of dust to clean out of the ute. It was over 1250km travelled and flying solo on this trip I had lots of fun finding the caches.
I took a couple more wedges out of my 360Deg “finds from home” map and ticked off a couple of caches that I have heard about that were on my “to find” list.
There was a huge Variety of caches found from bird boxes to Fridges, Wall mountable tool boxes to Eclipse tins, with the odd ammo can thrown in. A couple of head scratching gadget caches chewed up some time but will be memorable for time to come. Numerous puzzles that I had solved i managed to find and I even managed to make good on a couple of DNFs, and add some more DNFs to my list. Even though I was out on my own I still had to use a couple of PAFs to get by. Thanks guys.

Accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Hercs&pinky for the cache.
Hi there Hercs&pinky.
We found your cache **"Shut the Gate Mate"** today.
Wow what a great day out!! We traveled along a lot of dirt roads, and found a fantastic variety of caches. At the end of our run we have found 16 and by good management we didn't add to our DNF count.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache exactly where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Thank you Hercs&pinky for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Great weather to be out and about to the west of Swan Hill, following a cache course set by our fellow Geelong cachers Suscoe. Too dry for slippery roads but not quite dry enough for dust!
We have seen evidence of many rabbits over the last couple of days.
Thanks 'Hercs&pinky' for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Suscoe was enjoying a day out around the Swan Hill area in the very good company of Phetlern.
It was a delightful spring day with clear skies and bright sunshine.
A perfect day for caching.
The country side looked pretty good but it appears dry and the roads we quite solid to drive on.
Thanks to Hercs&pinky for this hide.

6759 Found by baby&Mrs gopher on a maintenance run with the CO at 1410. It is great when the camouflage near to hand is used to make things just a little more difficult to see. Well done. SL Tnx Hercs&pinky.
This was spotted without having to leave the car. Sent the geo daughter out to retrieve it while I sat in the car and logged it. SL. TFTC
