Logs
We did have a short rest here and combined it with the search for this cache. We found it.Team Mavos - Albert and Maria
Cache, rest, cache, eat, cache, rest, eat, cache etc.Freddo and e.gregory1 were heading up the middle of Australia following Stuart's well trodden route. We were travelling in air conditoned comfort and style. No stale food. No camels to carry water. We were leaving the cold winter for the northern season.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is the ninth day of Augustus Caesar's Month in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was so hot. No wind today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. I found this cache on a trip from Adelaide to the top end with Freddo for a few weeks. The cache was a quick find and was in good condition. Thanks _Gypsy_ for the cache.
Thankyou everyone so glad my cache is still going. Thankyou for your comments From Gypsy
Easily found on our way out from Grove Hill hotel. More luck here than there. Tftc
All ok here.We are supporting our mate who is running to Darwin (@curlyrunsnz). He started at Stewart Island in November, just south of the South Island of New Zealand and made to Cape Reinga at the tip of the North Island by New Years Day. He then flew to Tasmania, ran to the ferry terminal in Devonport and sailed to Geelong. Since then it has been a long hard slog across Victoria and into South Australia up the Stuart Highway but he is now close to the finish line in Darwin._Gypsy_, I found Rest when feeling tired today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
On a campervan trip across Australia from New Zealand. An easy find here and a little rest for the car. TFTC
Well my whirl wind tour of 5 states in 3 weeks has started and after reaching the SA border and now the NT border it was time to locate a few caches here or there as I won’t be doing that much caching on this trip as I’m with muggle friends.
So after a great few days in Litchfield NP I decided to ditch the other couple but that is for another story.
So after drive up to Darwin and back yesterday it was time to head back south to were I end up for the night.
With the van in tow I had to be selective of which caches I could stop for and this was one of them.
Still very Smokey around here after a recent scrub fire but not at GZ at least.
Thanks _Gypsy_ TFTC.

Darwin to Adelaide Road Trip
Day Three: Darwin to Mataranka.
Weather: perfect
Now firmly in termite tower country, finally a photo op by a cache! Thanks for breaking my journey and getting me to stop here _gypsy_.
It’s officially a mega - GCA1DNA “The Great Leap Forward”

Travelling with iluvtrekking and after 12 days caching Darwin we are now headed to Katherine. Cache all good. Thanks for the hide.
Travelling with richlink on a trip from Perth to Darwin and returning through the centre to SA and home again. Today, we are moving from Darwin to Katherine, picking up some caches along our route. Thanks for the cache gypsy.
Time for a rest, stretch and a revive, this was a good spot to pull off the main road where we didnt have to worry about the road trains zooming by. The GPSr was a bit silly here and kept sending us further bush than we eventually realised we needed to go, but we did get a good stretch of the legs in haha.
Mrs Kooka hadnt seen road trains before so for the first dozen or so she was interested then after a few hundred ...... not so interested.
We only allowed a week or so up here and we now know we should have doubled that time so as to fit all our wish list in. Caching takes up a bit of travel time but its a long way to come without grabbing some caches.
Thanks Gypsy for the cache and a reason to stop. Took nothing, left nothing signed log and replacd safe and sound as found

First time travelling around the top end. Spent time in Darwin, then Kakadu. Now making our way to Katherine. Found on our way down. TFTC
Found at 12:23:00 PM(t) GAFF3.
We went to the obvious structure, but then found that the GPSr was pointing a few metres into no man's land [:o)]
Thanks _Gypsy_.

Gave this one a new container and log as existing missing lid and mangled. Thanks
Stopped here with ilook4geo and found this cache. Container is in poor condition as it looks likr=e it has been partly melted and it is not waterproof. Signed log with both names and replaced all where found. Thanks go to _Gypsy_ for placing this cache.
Found this cache together with goingplaces2. Cache located, log signed, all replaced, job done. New container needed please. TFTC.
A few metres off the coords and is now a micro, def not a pen lid. Time to change the hint. Off to follow the old goldfields loop starting here. TFTC
Nice little stop and space to pull over. Log is in a film canister, dry and all good. TFTC
Found with GrimRaider on our way to Lichfield NP.
Thanks for hiding this cache _Gypsy_

Hi thankyou everyone glad you found my cache, hope that you had a good rest and thankyou for doing the right thing with my cache.
Staying at the nearby mine camp. Scored a day off and this quick find was the warmup for the day.
We are on vacation in Australia and of course we seek some caches.
Thanks for this one!
Greetings from the Netherlands.

Greetings from the Netherlands.
Hubby was tired driving so he decided to rest. I could have taken over but when I checked my offline caches we were parked 200m away! Of course finding a cache is much better option than driving!
Took a stop on the way to Katherine. This was a nice quick find. Thank you for placing it for my caching enjoyment.
Travelling around the world I visited Australia as well. This cache could be found.
Quick find on our way past. Short walk up the road and the cache was soon spotted. TFTC
Hi there _Gypsy_ - today was a driving day from Batchelor to Katherine. The trip was uneventful other than some impatient idiots who couldn't wait for the double whites to end (it happens a lot over here). This cache and log are in good condition - SL. This is our find #5036 - thanks to _Gypsy_ for this cache.
This was so nice after our last one a quick easy cache made for a good end of the day as we head down for a swim at the hot springs.
Apologies for late log. Review my notes today and find that I did not log my find on 20/6. TFTC. SL
Still travelling NT after the Red Centre Experience but now moving towards Birdsville in QLD for the Big Red Bash.
Moving day today from Batchelor to Pine Creek. Quite interesting driving through bushfires alongside the highway either side of the road. We were unable to stop for a few caches that we wanted to.

Darwin to Pine Creek.
After 12 days in Darwin it is time to head back down the track.
After setting up in camp we visited town following the geocaches. An amazing display all over town of a by gone era. The markets had just finished so only the tourists seemed to be out & about in town.
Thanks for placing this cache _Gypsy_

#7171 - 09:20; Day 23 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. After attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs and then heading north to Darwin, the time has come to pack up and head for home. Today we are headed back alont the Stuart Highway to Daly River. A quieter caching day as we stopped off to collect some of those we missed on the trip north, but looking to vover a reasonable distance. All caches we located were in good order, including this one. TFTC Gypsy
Alice trip 2017. Day 21. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I left Darwin and began the journey Home. Heading south finishing the day in Daly Waters. We managed a few caches we had skipped on the way north and a section of trigs. The highlight was two WW2 airfields.
Thanks.

13631. Next find of Day 13 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip. Heading South Again.
I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.
Next stop for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cap (only), and it was off to the next cache.
