Hi hayden.seek
For a traditional cache, the cache must be at the posted coordinates, and based on many previous logs, the cache is actually up to 70 metres from the posted coordinates, and about 130metres from another cache, well within the 161metre limit
https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#traditional.
Rather than straight archiving I am giving you 14 days to sort the cache.
Regards
TheCoddiwompler

Not sure if intended to have co ords out by 70m to avoid proximity of other cache as its only 136m between physical containers.
No luck here today. Location was bouncing about. The hint is the longest non hint I have ever read.
Was unsuccessful on an earlier visit but got it today. Coordindates published were at least 70m out for us, not sure whether it was intentional or an error ??? TFTC
Found but only becos grandson insisted on looking at a different place. Coordinates are far from correct
Staying at pinders pond in Motorhome, biked the trail and had lunch then thought would look for geocache. The coordinates are well out.
Finally found after 3 visits of this place and after asking owner. Happy catcher .
After a lot of looking we were moving onto the next one and found it. Cor ordinates are well out but still a nice cache.
After not finding at coordinates given, decided to move on and found it.
Cool hide for the cache.
Thanks P& Vee

Last one for the day and I had been up this way 3 time before and the coordinates are so far out that it is no wonder I did find it the first 3 time. Got there in the end tho. TFTC

Location is a bit out. Walking up the hill to the right and it will point right at you. It's pretty neat

Nice ride around the town on sunny warm day.

GZ is a long way off. Found after walking 70m up road. Cool cash though! Someone is creative!!!
#16996. This one had us puzzled as nothing at the published coords looked promising. I decided to follow the street up hill, and soon spotted the artillery piece (and cache). TFTC.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 5 of our extended Easter break in Central Otago. Today we are travelling south to Roxburgh, via Roxburgh village and Roxburgh East Rd, then back to Clyde again via SH8.
I was ready to throw in the towel, as I expect trads to be at the published co-ords, but SW trotted up the hill to look for this gun. He found a dog, a gun and a cache. I suspect that if the co-ords are changed to the correct ones, the cache would be too close to another one. TFTC.

Riding the Roxburgh Gorge Clutha Gold trail with a group of muggles. Great views best bike trip I have done. Very sneaky I had given up looking and it was only when we had left the area that the solution appeared. TFTC.
Perseverance and a little hint pays off.

19 Jan 17 Found Tucked this one away after finding it not that wery well hidden in the late evening before heading to the camping spot after correlating some more of the wily fisherman's puzzles. SL and tried to hide it a wee bit better. Bagged my first artillery piece Wheep!! was not as big as the Alex [Howitzer](https://coord.info/GC1M961)! TFTC haydn.seek - Jim's caches have good protection now.

Probably technically got muggled at this one, don't think it's anything to worry about, found with purplegoosenz.

Spotted the likely location upon arrival. A lady from the nearby house approached us to ask what we were up to. Friendly lady, intrigued by the geocaching concept. Log signed and cache returned. Tftc
Having correct co-ords this time made the cache a breeze. Soon in hand. A small gathering in the driveway behind the bushes behind the cache didn't even know I was there. TFTC.
Staying in Roxburgh while riding the Clutha Gold trail. Biked to this one. Thanks for this straight forward find haydn.seek. This one is certainly a long way from home for both of us!
Found with MrandMrsChosen1978 on our way thru to Omararama for weekend caching trip to the lakes. Easy find thanks.
Found with hayleyhnz, hannahhnz, hollyhnz and W.E.K.A. on our way from Wanaka to Mosgiel.
A quick find by W.E.K.A.
Thanks.

All set to go. The east reading should be .515. I'll alter on site when I can access a computer..
Sorry but this cache should not have been enabled again while the published co-ords are acknowledged to be incorrect. People may go looking for this cache on the basis of those published co-ords without reading the logs. Enabling it again with openly incorrect published co-ords is not being fair to other cachers.
Temporarily disabling cache until CO performs the necessary maintenance to correct the [published coordinates as per the guidelines](https://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#coordinates)
We had found several of this CO's caches near Levin on our trip south after the MEGA at Turangi, and the co-ordinates were fine. Here we figured that one of the co-ordinates was probably correct, but that there was an error in the other one for some reason. This meant that the cache should be N, S, W or E of the given GZ.
On arrival in Roxburgh we drove slowly past GZ, and on turning the next corner immediately spotted an item of interest, parked beside it, and had the cache in hand in less than a minute.
Taking averaged co-ordinates on the item of interest (object) gave the following.
GPSMap64s S45 32.284 E169 18.511
Etrex 30 S45 32.283 E169 18.513
Thanks for the FTF on this. An interesting object.

Well, on the basis of the CO's note I respectfully suggest that the co-ords need to be checked. On my visit GZ was being indicated well away from the road on a rocky bank/wall at the back of the grassed area. With KJR having a similar experience to me I would suggest there is a problem with the co-ords. Also, the fact this has never been found despite being listed for some time and despite being on a prime tourist route suggests plenty of unlogged DNFs and that, in turn, suggests a problem with the cache, probably the co-ords. It is vitally important to get accurate co-ords when a cache is hidden in a spot where there is a fine line between public and private property.
NO need to go near private land the said object is on the wide road!! as the title suggests. -further hint -- wheel nearest road!, inside!
Not sure why this hasn't been found over a month after being published but perhaps something to do with location. GZ is right on the border of two properties but even after looking on both sides no luck. Felt very invasive being on someones property and didn't want to search too closely. Will keep this on our watch list in the hopes someone is more daring with better luck.
Sorry for the late logging (24/10). Placed this on my watchlist after visiting it last week but didn't log it. Just had KJR's DNF log pop up and when checking that realised I hadn't logged it myself. I would add my concern to KJR's about how open this cache site is. I withdrew after it became obvious that I was being watched by neighbours. I feel very uneasy about caches that, whilst nominally on public land, are so close to private property that the distinction is blurred. Like KJR I am surprised that this hasn't been found yet but am left wondering whether others have looked for it but pulled out.
