Another successful day in Auckland with Eyespyben & KGDNot to many DNFNice quick find but the paper is wetThanks
Up in Auckland for a day with ABCDF4 and eyespyben. This was the 1st for the day. After parking up and waiting for some muggles to pass we soon had the cache found and signed. Thank you for the placement
Nice cache, clever camo, thanks! Log is paper mache! Just a sodden mess of pulp, so I left a scrap of paper - hope it stays dry until the CO can replace!
Two reasons for finding a cache today. The first was to grab the souvenir for today's date, 22/2/22. Secondly was to fill in a dot day which we are hoping to get rid of a few more this year.
Anyway, after getting home from work and finding that there was no meat defrosted to cook for dinner, we settled on the good old fish and chips. Mr. Kiwi volunteered to to grab the dinner as there was a cache near the takeaways that would serve the purpose of filling the above criteria. Unfortunately, that one turned out to be a DNF with time pressures to pick up dinner.
Anyway, at home we had our dinner and then decided to try and grab a cache before it got dark. This cache was close to home and an easy one to grab. So Mr. Kiwi headed on out again and parked up safely near GZ and crossed the roads to get there. As he was approaching GZ he noticed a stunning sunset and stopped to take a few snapshots. Once that was done, it was back to the business at hand. It didn't take long to locate the place where the cache was quickly found with a bit of rummaging. The slightly deteriorating log was signed and the cache returned to where it came from.
TFTC.

in the area for a flying visit, had to get one cache right, quick and easy here, tftc
Well hidden container, nicely disguised in the environment. Found fairly quickly. TFTC!
Found very quickly, but it’s a nicely done container!
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Filling up a few for days. I think this is now the closest geocache to our new house. Nicely disguised too.
Found it fairly quickly, but needed to tie our shoelaces a few times to cover our log signing as quite a few muggles were walking & driving by.
TFTC!
TFTC!
Found in the way back from my caching in Mangemangeroa reserve nice and easy, wasn't what I was expecting though! Cool camo. TFTC
Yet another good cache visited today with woolwood9

Out caching today with a brand new member (TeamDynamite2000) who is a friend of ours.
This cache was close-by to 'In the Meadow' just at Meadowlands plaza so we decided to find this.
A little drive to GZ and had a little search in a few possible places before I shout out "Found it!" and everybody stops looking and comes to take a look at the nicely camoed cache - a bit of effort put into that - thanks!
Nice to get a smile as we havent done a cache this week yet and now on the last day of the week we do.
Thank You for the effort and the find - will try to look for the rest of the series someday.

Having a pleasant bike around Botany and saw this on the way to finish another series, TFTC!
A nice little series - had lunch half way through it - rain held off but really it was a nice Autumn day.
Hides bar one ( that I think has been muggled) were nice simple finds

Have seen this one for a while but stopped at it today for the first time. It was a quick find and we were surprisingly out of sight of the traffic. Thanks!
On our way back from a stroll around pine harbour this evening and wanted just one more cache for today so stopped off here for a nice quick find.Always enjoy a drive out this way so hopefully get the others in this series too.
Another dot day (there are quite a few to come as this is usually lamb season and more difficult to get out and cache - no lamb this year). Chose this location as it was handy on the way to indoor cricket tonight in Pakuranga. Nice that the days are getting longer and it is still daylight. A nice quick find here, clever hide. Daffodils in bloom near GZ. Found with darthcacher1 and purply.
Another nice day of cashing for the Hidden creatures challenge. I really like this scenic route series, the caches are creative, there was put much effort in their camouflage and they can be found easily, which is just nice. . I enjoyed it very much. TFTC
Hidden creatures challenge... ACCEPTED. Found together with Greenkiwikids and Pyphant and signed as team Piraten. TFTC
Out driving the Scenic Route today to boost our caching tally for this calendar date.
At #1 we got a surprise when a voice called out "hello" from high in the bamboo on the other side of the fence. Not sure what he was doing up a ladder there, but we replied, then got on with the business of finding the cache.

On the approach it was debatable where MrJag50 should park to avoid the potential dangers of the roundabout. After some false starts eventually managed to come at it from the right way and had it in our hands.
Was out with Merlot58 and Jag50 out in the area. I was just going with the flow, happy to take a break from studying for my Finance test next week. Thought it was obvious where this would be, but alas it wasn't there. Further searching turned up the cache.
A fantastic day out cacher hunting with the family, cache and log in good condition, thank you for placing the cache
Doing a quick maintenance run of some of this series today. All good here- fresh log added. Happy caching!
We are on our way south to get Auckland's most easterly cache so decided to get some extras on the way to pass the time on the trip. We had a few DNFs but more finds and this one was the first one for the day, and got us started with a nice one.
Parked up at GZ and walked back and soon spotted the item that tripped off our geosenses. Nice effort here and quite similar to one of our hides so we enjoyed the handiwork.
All good here, and thanks for the cache.

With Miss Davieland dropped off for her gymnastics training it was time to collect some more of this series. GPS spot on but log very wet and I didn’t have a spare. TFTC.
Found after a short look around.
1 of the series that we had decided to do today on this Friday inclement day. Log is a bit soggy. TFTC

Next weekend is an event for laval's 1000th find but he needs about 10 more caches to get there so we decided to find a few local ones today to get his numbers up.
Parked up along the road and walked back to the spot. Thankfully GZ is slightly away from the road so don't think anyone noticed us. Nice camo on this one.
Thanks for the cache.

In the area to drop off Tinytree with friends so decided to take the scenic route home and grab another section of this series. No problems here but log is getting a little fragile. TFTC.
