Thanks BurnesFamily01 for the cache. Its #2085 for us. We found your cache on Sunday 29 September 2024. Quick find after looking at the images and reading logs.
OCW PelDroedGwin Visiting Derby for a few days. First stop was the jetty to check out the low tide and this cache was close by. Wow, that could have taken ages but PDG had CIH quickly. Tftc
Ocw the Bebes as we visit Derby. A quick run around with no luck then started a more thorough search and found in first location looked! Tftc
Found at 3:15 PM GAFF1.Thought we were going to be in trouble here due to the many possible hiding spots, but a good T rating meant that we could eliminate a lot of very tricky locations. However still don't think that someone in a wheelchair would be able to access this cache.Went around once and found it in the very last location before starting the circuit again Thanks to BurnesFamily01
We found your cache today 17 August 2024 3:57pm , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC bubsy001

Stopped in Derby for a house sit whilst doing a lap of Aust. Was about to give up when I spotted it. TFTC.
Took a little searching, overlooked it at first, but a better angle had it spotted. Easy find after that, thanks for the cache.
So many places this could be hidden but luckily (and unusually for me) I spotted it quickly.A nice find first thing in the morning before leaving Derby.SL TFTC
Somehow we managed to overlook it a couple times before spotting it, tftc!
Quick park and grab after arriving in Derby, 4 days into our epic holiday trip. TFTH.
In Derby for a couple of nights. Decided to walk from our accommodation to the jetty. A superb walk on a magical day. Thanks for the motivation to visit today!
TFTC out with a friend this trip @chippyandcynthia, did I mention its hot today.
We searched yesterday for this cache and went round and round but could not locate. Today I decided to check one last time and found it after the 1st circuit. Not sure how we missed it. Must have just looked at the right angle today.

We've made it to Derby and out today exploring. Adter visiting the nearby earth cache for part 1, stopped here to make a quick find. Got lucky I think. Tftc
On the road again, we have left Broome behind & now heading slowly towards Kunnunurra.
Stopping at various locations along the way.
Machinery caches are the ones we find the hardest, did a circuit before locating the cache.
Thanks for placing this cache

We found this one on 15 July but didn’t have mobile signal to log this at the time. It’s a bit challenging to find, not on the ground, look a little higher. Tftc.
We found this cache after taking a lunch break in Derby. Lots of tourists about today.
2 weeks in the Kimberley with Dino, Pebbles and Wilma. What a treat and not just that we went around to so many great natural highlights but we did Caches wherever we went which made me very happy and will be perfect to remember all those nice places we saw. Thank you all for showing us this beautiful state with your caches.
Today drove from Mimbi caves to Birdwood downs, hoping to see Tunel creek on the way but the dirt road was also closed so missed out on the quarry as well. We did a side tripe to Derby and visited the art gallery as well.
This cache: searched for a while, the hint seems dated.
Thank you bubsy001 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Stopped by in Derby to fill up before going on the Gibb River Road. Had a bit of look round town before departing and finding a cache or two. TFTC
Dieses Jahr ist es endlich soweit und wir reisen nach Australien um die Gibb-River-Road zu fahren. Eigentlich sollte dies schon 2020 stattfinden, aber da kam irgendwas dazwischen. Also 2023 ein neuer Anlauf.

Einmal bis zum Ufer gefahren. Das Wharfcafe existiert nicht mehr oder ist mobil.
Ein paar Schritte zur Dose zurück und fix gesucht und gefunden.
Danke für's Legen und Herführen sagt Bison1.0

Took a little while but we found it… yes, upside down Miss Jane haha. Log signed and replaced where found. TFTC
TFTC! Was out for a run so didn’t have a pen to sign the log unfortunately. Fairly quick find, although took enough time that I’m going to have to sprint to catch back up to mum!
Great rusty relic of a dredge. Nice and peaceful today. Found reasonably quickly. Thank you for maintaining the cache.
On my way to Perth via Broome with a few detours for LGAs. TFTC.
Intertesting. I found 2 caches at GZ. Both in the same place.

Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time, while travelling.
We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
With a 1 terrain we were looking at the wrong level. Started looking a bit higher and soon had our hands on it. Not wheelchair friendly.
Thanks bubsy001 for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Didn’t understand the hint and tried looking everywhere on the rusty metal. Maybe lost?
Found the cranky resident but unfortunately not the cache. Too much rust, not enough time.
Day 21 of the long road trip from Perth to the Townsville Mega via the southern states and then back to Perth again via the northern part of Australia.
Today was basically from south of Kununurra to a late at night viisit into Derby with another big stopover Halls Creek to wait for a tire puncture to be repaired. Lucky that the only repair place available was still open.
This cache found without problems. Log signed and the cache returned as it was found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for cachers to find.

Took longer than it should have to find this one. Back today to check out the rising tide.
Thanks bubsy001
Thanks bubsy001
First geocache for Western Australia! I have almost forgotten about geocaching when I had some free time in Derby waiting for the state of origin. Nice and easy find thanks
Love looking through the history books, this is an amazing machine to see it still sitting here after seeing it nearly 20 years ago.
I remember the sign on the door ))
Caught, hook, line and sinker, having fun with a bit of photography
Thanks for sharing this interesting location.
The tide here is amazing, coming in so quickly.

Thank you! I headed off on a two week group tour of the Kimberley, from Broome to Kununurra via the Gibb River Road, then back via the Great Northern Highway. Being an organised trip, all caching was opportunistic rather than planned.
After exploring Derby, we had lunch at the jetty, so I took the opportunity to head off and find this cache.

Possibilities are endless! However it is no longer magnetic so probably and easier find than meant to be. Tftc
We headed back up to the Kimberley for a much needed escape, being a couple of years since our last visit we had a few green dots on our map, so our mission was set to cleaning that up and turning them into smiley's, happy to say we came up trumps here and walked away with a smiley TFTC
Fantastic trip: Broome to Kununurra by campervan. Beautiful drive out to Derby. Many thanks for the place to stop and stretch the legs
A nice quick one, would love to have a fish at the jetty in the 10 m tide today but it's onto the Gibb for us TFTC!
