Logs
Rusty needs replacing no log that I find . Serious maintenance needed here TFTC
Extremely rusted and in overgrown conditions. No paper. Bit of a mission bushwacking to it with young kids, but thats half the fun!
Looking for caches this afternoon. Glad to find this one after struggling with the others Unfortunately these caches havent been looked after properly and are a rusty wet mush. Owner hasnt looked after these so they should go
Based on previous logs I think we found the remaining parts of this cache - a rusted paint can near an old helmet and an empty baggie. Photo attached. For extra excitement an historic train came puffing along as we returned to the car. TFTC!
Picton & Penrith Canberra Day weekend Invasion. Day 1. I managed to get away early enough to try and find a few caches a bit further south than Picton where this evenings stop was planned. I made it to Colo Vale, Bargo and Tahmoor and the areas in between. It was a warm day and some of the walks were fun. Plenty of interesting caches found and not found during the day. Dinner was a microwave dinner in the company of Joolay and Kitty Katch in Picton before I returned to Bargo for a night with the trains.
I did this walk in a few sections. There was not much of this cache left, basically just the rusty outer item amongst several others bits of rubbish. I know why there was not much accommodation around now as this weekend was a steam weekend.
Thanks for the cache trickygav

The hint made sense once at GZ. This is a good spot for a Geo-trail, but it's a shame that most hides in the series are not in good shape. Hopefully, these may be fixed up so that they can continue to be enjoyed. The logs here are loose scraps of paper with no baggy. They are damp, but still signable for now. Tftc!
Nice easy find for the kids. Log is a little damp but managed to sign. Thank you
Easy find, best to follow the narrow path from the station to avoid the long grass.
Lots of spiders on the way to get this one. Clever hide, took a little bit to find it. Didn’t sign the log as it was damp.
So today is the day, I am finally going to get my 200th. Both Mizcupcake and I have been planning a run down the Southern Highlands for some time but plans had always fell through. Finally making our way back and getting a nice and early start, the sunshine in Spring makes for a great day. This is find number 11 for today. Parking the geomobile and making our way down the path, a lovely stroll along the railway line collecting this trail set. This was another really quick and easy find and also in good condition. TFTC!
Today is a big day for Littl3Vix and I, its the day she got her 200th (we know exactly where we are going ) and also just cause general geo trouble in the Southern Highlands, which is almost untouched by us, because plans have always fallen through until now. So far we have made good progress, this being find number 11 for the day. Another quick and easy find on this lovely walk. Thanks trickygav for the walk and the caches
Log is a soggy mess and I didnt have a replaced log with me. Photo attached.
Signed the log and put it back in and inverted. TFTC trickygav.

Glad I didn't attempt this series from the road and opted to walk from the station along the line northwards. A nice series- everything pretty easy to locate. Walked back from #5 mainly along the train line and road. TFTC!
Decided to pick up this run of caches while heading south with ilook4geo. It was a bit of a sad run. People have already said about the broken containers and the soggy logs, but no maintenance has happened as yet. Such a pity! It would be much more appealing if the CO could bring this run back to life. Thanks for the cache and hopefully for some future maintenance.
Came along here to do some caching with goingplaces2. Found what we were looking for, but some were in very poor condition. Signed the log and replaced as found. TFTC.
On our usual route between Sydney and Canberra, we thought we'd break up the drive with a few caches.
We decided to take a detour and do the "A walk along the line" series. It was a very dusty walk, but we had fun despite encountering dangerously fast dirt bike riders, and even met Thomas on the tracks! Some of the caches had broken lids and very (very) wet logs. Others have already mentioned those, so we didn't take note of which ones they were - sorry! We left goodies in the dry ones.

Find # 8266
Found while up at the Gong event.
Seeing as I was still all alone after grabbing the mega geoart. With no messages on the phone from anyone needing or looking for me. I headed west, as I still needed to feed the smiley addiction. Also I was interested to see what the map would bring up.
Well from over the M31 I had a great selection.
A couple of oldies, a few nanos, some good short walks and all the time needed to do them in.
Also realized there was a couple of puzzles that were easily solved n grabbed in the area.

Day 43
Found with All7 either before, during or after the OZGeoMuster - The Gong 2019...TFTC
Felt like Johnny Cash walking the line . Great little power trail. Sadly no trains passed by but we did see a dirt bike rider as we made our way back to the geo mobile. Thanks for the series trickygav xo
On a day trip to Balmoral, thought we’d do some caching while down here. Found with KnightJR and Panda_Girl65 (signed as K, M & P). TFTC
Trip away with woolwood9.
Stamped logs as TM/WW NZ or in pen as tm421/ww9
Another nice find for us today, thanks for putting this cache out.
Great fun little cache series!

Nice little trail to walk on a cool morning. Saw a very large red belly black snake sunning himself on the track just before this one and thought we may have to turn back before even beginning. luckily after a while of it sizing us up it decided to slither back into the undergrowth and we cautiously passed. Quick find once at GZ. Red back also taken up residence in this one. Got to love Australia. TFTC
Today I decided to come down from Sydney and do the walk along the train line north from Couridjah Station.
Now I've never heard of this place before I started looking at the map for potential geocache hides and walks but I liked it very much. Great to see a small historic station which has been refurbished. Unfortunately the trains were not running today. I shall have to come back!
I was a bit worried about slithery things in the long grass heading to the track but once on it finding the caches was straightforward, as there were distinct 'cacher trails' to most of the prizes.

Our last in this series. Walked past it as there is such a well worn cachers track through here.
A lovely walk this morning at this caching hotspot. I really enjoyed coming here previously for the cache next to the station so it was nice to return again. I thought I would have to walk along the tracks! But thankfully no
Headed off for a caching day around Bargo with Azzepious and Lokied. We were aiming for some of the high D/T caches along the 'power trail' in Bargo. We managed to grab quite a few, and only obtained some minor scrapes and scratches for our trouble. All logs were signed as 'Team GOGGGG' the Group of Glorious Gaming and Geocaching Geeks.
We decided to do a cache loop back to the freeway. We parked where we could along the power trail and walked back when we had to.

Out for a day of geocaching around the Buxton area with Azzepious and mrsmith00 to help celebrate my 40th, grab a few high D/T combos, and bring some form of respectability to my numbers! All logs signed as GOGGGG.

#24 of 32 - Continuing along the trail with Azzepious, with mrsmith00 leapfrogging us in the car.

In celebration of the 40th birthday of Lokied, we set off on an early caching day towards Bargo.

Decided to do the caches along the train line by foot. Parked up near the end and walked down to the station to start collecting caches. No trains today but passed a couple of horse riders going the opposite way along the quite dusty track. There were very few pedestrian muggles and, although the roads on either side had a fair bit of traffic, there were some pretty big gaps which meant I didn't need to be too stealthy. Most caches were relatively quick finds and in good condition.
Thanks for placing this series, trickygav.

Still excited about the stream train at the cache down the road I was surprised I was able to focus to promptly find this nicely hidden cache. Left the frisky puppet pathtag in this one.
Day 7 of my streak.
found this one on a little day trip to the area with Snoopy and Dave.
Nice bunch of geocaches.
