Today I teamed up again with marj01 for another day of caching, this time around the Narellan/Camden/Cobbity areas. We had a very enjoyable and adventurous day visiting the cache locations, finding a heap of hides but also a few DNF's along the way.
A quick find. TFTC

Doing cache checks today. Cache in good condition. Please be sure to place cache exactly as it is found and if it is exposed please cover it up so future cachers can enjoy the find. Happy Caching
I decided to go out and do cache checks today. I found this one sitting out exposed, perhaps an animal dug it out of its hiding spot. Checked cache and all good then returned it to its intended spot. Please be sure to place cache exactly as it is found and if it is exposed please cover it up so future cachers can enjoy the find. Happy Caching
Could not find this at all when I came here and trusted I would be able to identify a bit of a theme with the other caches on the way to the lookout. Luckily this was right as I spotted it straight away on the way back. The camo is good of course.
What a great way to start the new year!! Nice easy find once we decided which path to take. Our geokid loved the american dollar note he found in it! He swapped it with something a little more aussie. TFTC
After a busy day at the airport I intended to do this short series. Over the years I have traveled up and down Kirkham Lane when there were no house just paddocks in these here parts. Taking off from runway 06 at Camden airport one fly's directly over head of this estate and the Kirkham Meadows.
I found the parking place and headed up the Meadows. Found this one fairly easily and signed the log. Visited two TB's. Thanks for the great series lucky cricket.

Wow! What a beautiful little town/suburb. So peaceful. Thanks for bringing me here. TFTC
Was a nice afternoon for a stroll so stopped in here with Bon the geodog while on the way back home from a long weekend away,at GZ bon sniffed out the hide and we soon had it.
Gee that house on the right is pretty awesome !!
Thanks lucky cricket for the cache

Decided to take the kids out on a small caching expedition to pass a few school holiday hours. Let the kids take the lead on navigating and searching (with a little help from Dad) and did'nt take too long to make the find. TFTC
5/6/17. 8:36 AM. Cache #5076.
8th of 11 today - Cobbitty, Kirkham & Epping.
For the first time in a while, I was able to head out early on a weekday morning, and to head out before the peak hour traffic got too bad. Decided to head southwest again, but a fair ways west of where I'd been yesterday.
Consistently, I had been finding the caches in this series, from 4 to 1, about 4 minutes apart, and this was no exception. I checked the hint but as I got closer I could see that the examples in this area weren't as big as I had expected. Still, another easy find. SL, and replaced, then walked north for one more cache in this reserve, "John Oxley". TFTC.

Found with nissan 65 on a two night/day caching adventure from the south coast. Thanks for the cache
Phone GPS ended up being about 20meters out so took a little longer than usual. Good fun to start the track!
After a busy Saturday ending a busy week I wanted a relaxed Sunday. I've been looking forward to this stroll for a while, and the combination of an easy hike and a set of caches seemed perfect for a sunny April day. It took my phone a moment to work out the right direction but then it was a quick find to get me started.
A quick find as we started the series it was apparent that a plane had crashed nearby after taking off from Camden airport.Helicopters everywhere above us. Soon heard that 2 people were seriously hurt so hoping they make a quick recovery . We continued up the hill with the geo tribe.
Out for a cache adventure with pitman clan. Feeling a bit sick as a plane has come down near by lots of helicopters over head
A very nice place to take a walk.
Found this series on my way home from the dentist at Camden.
It did rain all the way out to #4 & back again, but hey, that's what umbrella's are for.
There were a lot of large puddles to avoid & the sandshoes got very wet as well.

#4088- We had just done the Kirkham Rise cache and then drove around to do these four. It was amazing the difference in the housing from Kirkham Rise to Kirham. There are some gorgeous homes here and it is lovely to see all the developed trees, rather than having them cut down. A place that would be the epitomy of excellence in living.
We parked in the Glade and strolled up the mowed pathway between the houses, following it to the lookout. The first was an instant find with spot on co-ords. Thanks

Having just found a cache called Kirkham Rise, where all the houses stand shoulder to shoulder and the trees were cleared for the development, this series of caches presented us with a nice contrast. The houses and land here are obviously more expensive: well designed, spacious and individual. We parked at the end of the street and walked between the properties to make the first find of four in this series. Nice and easy. Thanks
A lovely series of caches. Parked at the recommended parking spot and admired the houses
This was a nice easy find after a short walk from the suggested parking location, TNLN thanks.
Took Geo dog for walk to find this series. Forgot pen so sent Photo to CO. nice easy find. TFTC
Wow, some fancy houses around here, and you know you're in Snobsville when the streets are called The Mews, The Glade etc.
The cache was easily spotted, thanks.

We had wanted to find some out of area caches today but our day didn't go to plan, so we decided to stay local. Surprised that we haven't done these already. Parked at the suggested location and walked to find #1 for the day. Nice camo and quickly found, thanks lucky cricket for this little series.

Had a great morning caching in Narellan/Camden and surrounds. Quit a few DNF, but I am getting used to that. Most caches were very well accesable and in good condition, thanks to all the owners for placing them!

Out and about with Davaura Inc, Ausfeet and semi muggle family members. Tftc for the trail of finds up to this spot Lucky Cricket, definitely a spot I would have not been to if not for geocaching cheers!
#3514 (9 of 17 today)
I was preparing to go on a cache binge today, as recently I've been back to a quick scramble for a cache later in the day.
With the Geowife's blessing I was getting ready to go and noticed some publishing had occurred.
I spotted one new cache that fitted in with my day's plans, so decided to go for it, then continue on towards Camden, where I could make a lot of quick finds - I hoped.
In the end I got 17 finds and a few DNFs. And I managed to snag the First2Find on the new cache as well.
Top day!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Saw there was a trail of four caches near my last find - gotta do that.
Then I made an assumption on access - OK I could have climbed through the fence, but there was no clear access from The Lanes to the north. Then spotted the suggested parking spot. D'oh!
Made my way there for proper access to the series. Short walk to this one and a quick find.
The camo works really well despite the obvious spot.
Completed signing duties worried about someone suddenly appearing from one of the nearby back yards - no one spotted. Replaced and off to *#2*.

Today we decided to tackle the caches at Tahmoor, Picton, Camden and Narellan all found. Mutis, Challenge, and traditional found. some a little more challenging than others. The wind was present all day long which kept the heat down. we had a pleasant day out.
Thanks to all the Co for the effort and giving us a daily dose of exercise and smileys.

Nice quick find despite the slight drizzle. Lots of big fancy houses around here! TFTC.
Parked at the carpark at Oxley Reserve. A bit of exercise before lunch. Found the cache a bit exposed, so we covered it with a bit of bark and sticks. Should still be obvious to a geocacher. Took the TB. TFTC
Quick find. Lovely area- what I would do to live in one of the neighboring properties. Took the dogs along although they weren't too happy with all the bindiis along the route. TFTC
I can see why the description said not suitable at night. Driving here was like driving through the Bronx!?!
Not sure this will last too long just sitting there like that. You might like to bring some rocks or bark to camouflage it.

What a great place to start this series. Nice homes around here. Last month I was able to go to Geocaching HQ in Seattle. While I was there I picked up two trackables. I left one of them here for the next to find to start it in it's travels. TFTC
Arrived at GZ to find a couple of muggles standing nearby so decided to get the others first and come back to this one.
Followed the path uphill and around for a bit before it ended. Realised I'd taken the wrong path (not unusual for me) so headed back again.
It was all quiet around GZ now and easily made the find.

We had a late start today, and where heading to Gregory Hills to have a look at the Masters closing sale and check out a party supply place. We had just driven through Luddenham when a publishing notification arrived and soon after another 2 had hit our inbox. We quickly programed the GPS and headed off to the parking spot.
We arrived at GZ and noticed someone about 200 meters in front of us, thinking that we where going to be second to find we where surprised when we arrived the cache that log was blank. So a muggle was making the walk up to the look out. We signed the log and made a swap before continuing on up the hill.

I was packing my stuff for a canyoning weekend away when i realised there was a mishap in my laundry and had to take my clothes to the laundromat. While waiting for my clothes to finish, the rest of these caches were published. Unfortunately someone had gotten here an hour before i could.
Thanks for the cache.
