Tftc I lived here as a teen and used to spend a lot of time up on this hill (what I once dubbed 'Kirkham Mountain' and still refer to as). Thanks for bringing me back here, hit all the feels.
Today I teamed up again with marj01 for another day of caching, this time around the Narellan/Camden/Cobbity areas. We had a very enjoyable and adventurous day visiting the cache locations, finding a heap of hides but also a few DNF's along the way.
After a lovely stroll we found the cache and then took in the views. TFTC.

Great views, shame that people still dump rubbish in our wonderful country. TFTC
What a view. Like Leo DiCaprio in Titanic, I’m King of the world. Nice little series.
Thank you so much for these caches! A great walk to find all four. We live locally and had no idea you could walk on a track up here! Such an awesome view. Well worth the short walk!
After a busy day at the airport I intended to do this short series. Over the years I have traveled up and down Kirkham Lane when there were no house just paddocks in these here parts. Taking off from runway 06 at Camden airport one fly's directly over head of this estate and the Kirkham Meadows.
.........And finally made it to the top to enjoy the spectacular views. If it wasn't for this cache trail I would never have ventured up here. Visited two TB's while I did the signing duties. Thanks for the great series lucky cricket.

Before caching I had never noticed so many olive tress around, there every where now I notice them.
Pretty awesome views of the area from up here, Bon was pretty stuffed by now, shes not as young as she use to be,after the find we started back but it was a big walk for the little girl so I carry her most of the way back,
Thanks for the short series, had a nice stoll and admired the beautiful homes.

Decided to take the kids out on a small caching expedition to pass a few school holiday hours. Let the kids take the lead on navigating and searching (with a little help from Dad) and did'nt take too long to make the find. We spent a fair while sitting on top of the hill enjoying the view afterwards. Nice way to end the series. TFTC
5/6/17. 8:24 AM. Cache #5073.
5th of 11 today - Cobbitty, Kirkham & Epping.
For the first time in a while, I was able to head out early on a weekday morning, and to head out before the peak hour traffic got too bad. Decided to head southwest again, but a fair ways west of where I'd been yesterday.
After getting "Kirkham Rise", I next wanted to get a few of the caches in this reserve, on foot. I was going to park at the eastern end of The Lanes, nearest to this cache, but a little dog out on the loose ran straight to my car and I think he was keen to nip at my heels. No thanks, so I headed to the opposite corner of The Lanes not far from #2, but still walked all the way here first, to get the series in 4,3,2,1 order.
Climbed the steep rise at the end and made my way to the right tree. Down on to hands and knees and my palm went down on to a thorn which was poking straight up and went in deep. Owwwww!!!! Ignoring the pain, I quickly found the cache. SL, rehid and then walked back down the hill towards #3, wiping the blood as I walked. TFTC.

Bit hard to find as a recent mowing covered in thick wads of grass. But got there in the end.
Found with nissan 65 on a two night/day caching adventure from the south coast. Thanks for the cache . Picked up TB
Ha! Having complained about the olives before, as I approached the cache I was confronted with a stand of them blocking the view. Thankfully I could walk past them and take in the beautiful pastoral scene. And the suburbs. And the industrial area. But look at the cattle! And the river! Ooh an I found a cache! Thanks for a great experience lucky cricket.
Found it after we took a moment to take in the views. Great trail for the geokids today. Thanks for bringing us here.
What a stunning view. Spent more time looking at the view than looking for the cache. TFTC and the beautiful views
And this is why geocaching is awesome! Never would have known about these beautiful views. Shoes are ruined tho wouldn't recommend when it's been raining
A very nice place to take a walk.
A great view from here watching lots of rain storms happening in the distance.
Found this series on my way home from the dentist at Camden.
It did rain all the way out to #4 & back again, but hey, that's what umbrella's are for.
There were a lot of large puddles to avoid & the sandshoes got very wet as well.

#4091- As we headed for the top and the last of the four, we could see workmen in the distance and assumed that we were right near where we would need to be. Sure enough, bikerbuddy and I were right. I had a chat to one and as we continued closer towards the cache he asked if we were doing that geo thing. We replied we were and he told us he'd heard about it from a friend on Australia Day. The Camden council worker wanted to see, and since it was only 10m away he came for a look.
He was very interested to try it when his child gets a bit older.
It was our first time in this spot- lovely views, even on a misty day. Surprisingly, it was his first time to this spot too. Thanks for a nice little series and a few extra steps to help with our daily steps too.

As the WaywardWoman has told, we spoke to one of the council workers as we approached this cache. He guessed what we were doing. In these situations I think it's just best to tell people and involve them. In my experience, they're usually pretty positive and interested. And because they fell included, they're unlikely to muggle the cache. We asked the guy just to leave it there and he said that of course he would. I think the other option - to be stealthy, or lie - only raises suspicions. Nice views here, and a positive muggle was happy to have learned more. Thanks
Nice morning for a stroll alone here, however by the time we finished it was getting quite warm. Great view from the top. Tried to get the geowife to climb up the top of the tower for a better picture, but no go. Nice simple series to get the geo juices flowing for the day. Tftc..... !
#13 for the day
Quick find with Ollie great walk to make our puppy (and me) tired

From this view, I could see the southerly change moving up from the south. Relief would soon be here.
A lovely view as a reward for a peaceful walk. Thank you for sharing this spot.
Got to the top and enjoyed the view, what a great little series which me and Geo Dog enjoyed. Walked back past the dam and Geo Dog went for a swim. Thanks Lucky Cricket for this series. TFTC
Some great views from up here, and a place I'd never have come to without geocaching.
TFTC. Find #217.
We had wanted to find some out of area caches today but our day didn't go to plan, so we decided to stay local. Surprised that we haven't done these already. Parked at the suggested location and walked to find #1, #2, #3 then on to #4. Certainly feels like the top of the world! Great views of the fast-growing area. As we approached GZ, my young cachers were hoping the container was located on top of the tower (!) - I was pleased with its actual location! Thanks for this series lucky cricket.

Had a great morning caching in Narellan/Camden and surrounds. Quit a few DNF, but I am getting used to that. Most caches were very well accesable and in good condition, thanks to all the owners for placing them!

Out and about with Davaura Inc, Ausfeet and semi muggle family members. Tftc for the trail of finds up to this spot Lucky Cricket, definitely a spot I would have not been to if not for geocaching cheers!
My apologies for the very late log here
On a very quick trip to Sydney to visit some relatives. Staying with family in the area and was delighted to discover a handful of caches only a short walk away. Unfortunately only had time to do the one (it really was a flying visit!) and happily, this was the one I picked to do; some amazing views from up here! Nice, quick find. Left a little airplane eraser. TFTC

When he reached the mountain's summit even Clancy took a pull. It well might make the boldest hold their breath .Great view from here. Bit of a waste of prime real estate. A house with a revolving games room upstairs would fit well here. One can only dream . TFTC
#3517 (12 of 17 today)
I was preparing to go on a cache binge today, as recently I've been back to a quick scramble for a cache later in the day.
With the Geowife's blessing I was getting ready to go and noticed some publishing had occurred.
I spotted one new cache that fitted in with my day's plans, so decided to go for it, then continue on towards Camden, where I could make a lot of quick finds - I hoped.
In the end I got 17 finds and a few DNFs. And I managed to snag the First2Find on the new cache as well.
Top day!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Nice view from up top. Pity about the phone tower...
Took a few minutes to get to the right spot, but once I did, spotted something investigation worthy. CIH.
Completed signing duties and replaced. Then took in the view as the Geowife rang to let me know she didn't have time for the shopping today so I could join her tomorrow... She now knows where Kirkham is.
Time for the wander back after taking a few photos.
A favourite for the series and the final view.

Today we decided to tackle the caches at Tahmoor, Picton, Camden and Narellan all found. Mutis, Challenge, and traditional found. some a little more challenging than others. The wind was present all day long which kept the heat down. we had a pleasant day out.
Thanks to all the Co for the effort and giving us a daily dose of exercise and smileys.

I had some time to kill while in the area so naturally looked around to see if there were any unfound caches nearby. This little series looked like it might fit the bill and it turned out to be pretty good indeed. It was a nice walk despite constant drizzle and soon enough I was admiring the view after ticking off all four. TFTC!
Stunning views of the area. Did not know the area was here. I suppose that is one great thing about Geocaching. You go to places that yo would not normally go. Picked up an OZ Mega coin and will take it on it's journey soon. TFTC. This have to be a favorite.
Had fun getting to this one rocky-style up the steep dirt track to save the dogs another paw full of bindiis. Beautiful views. Sat to take them in for a while before continuing on to the cache. Saw something which did not match the surrounding vegetation and sure enough there was the cache. Left a TB to celebrate. Thanks for this final cache and for the great series.
Last find in this new series.
Nice views from up here. A place I never would have discovered if it wasn't for geocaching. I assume it will be another housing development in a few years

Found at 11am.
After making the climb to the look out and following a muggle we lost sight of him.... oh wait there he is up on the dirt. A quick search at GZ while he was looking from a higher point soon put the cache in hand. We then went to take in the vista, by the time we where ready to head back to the wagon the muggle had joined us and we had a pleasant stroll as we discussed the development of the area.
Thanks Lucky Cricket for placing this cache.

FTF at 16:55. This is a really good lookout that should be developed with some picnic tables and maybe a BBQ. Years ago you could drive up here before the fences were erected. I found the cache nicely hidden and a blank logbook. Thank you lucky cricket for the FTF prize. I left a geo-coin.
Arrived at parking area, then off I went, up the hill, hmm that looks to lead to a house, so I took the rh mowed track, as GZ was closer that way. Got to very end of that only to find must have been wrong one, bushbashed up the hill for about 100 metres before eventually returning to right mowed track. Found GZ and found really nice view. Some nice photos. Was going to swap but my in would have not left much room, was going to take the small compass as I probably needed it to get back. Should be great when others in series are published as can easily take wrong track, silly me. Favourite point on the cache and the views, tftc
