Maybe it was just a bit further in...
Thanks for the hunt nonetheless TeamThommo!

Now THIS is more like it! Had to find a decent sized one eventually! My direction finder was way out today again. I reckon the air has lots to do with it... Or was that the air in the head of the operator?! Did a small CITO cos it's clear people smoke here... Happily signed the log book. Cache in clean dry condition. Log safe.

On the way home from Pink Piggy's Xmas party & thought I'd grab this easy one. Wandering around as the night set in, this was a clever, but good for beginners cache.
Thanks for the cache Team Thommo.

After a lengthy trip overseas for nearly 5 months with only some sporadic caching in some of the countries we visited we have finally returned home.
With the taken out to catch up with children and grandchildren as well as the garden at home it was now timely to catch up with our good friend Rebel Acts and do some caching. A plan was hatched at short notice to meet up with him and then head down to the Garfield / Pakenham area and see what we could come up with.
A good sized cache, which was fortunate as there were lots of muggles about.
We soon came up with the cache.

SKI Pair had finally returned after five months over seas and a quick plan was made to go caching, there were some new ones at Garfield I wanted to go find to boost my finds on Days caches and I had a few solved Puzzles around Pakenham to find, several others were found along the way. The weather was perfect for caching and we had plenty of laughs along the way. I think we arrived here at the wrong time of day there were parents picking up kids everywhere, we waited a few minutes for them to clear and went in to find an excellent cache, this size cache always puts a smile on my face.
Thanks TeamThommo for the cache.

What a lovely set of little old buildings. There was one car in the car park - the gardener but I couldn't see any sign of anybody else or any activity, so decided to look around. This was a big sized and constructed container great for newbies. With my name added to the log, it was tucked back safely in place and I continued on my way.

Caching nearby with day1976, we parked and had to wait for the muggles to go into a nearby building before wandering around to find the cache. Day1976 spotted this very quickly, I was lookout and we had it signed and back away nice and quick.
We were in the area and decided to do this one. When we arrived the car park was full and there were people around. We wondered around anyway and I spotted the cache but had to wait until the muggles had moved away to make the grab, sign the log and replace the cache. TFTC!

After a bit of abush walk for a puzzle I slowly made my way back home past a few other caches on the way until I ran out of time.
I wanted to stop here before but there were a lot of cars here so had to drive past. Today was totally deserted so a nice quick find was made.
Thanks TeamThommo for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

I was looking to make a bit more progress on the Mystery at the Museum challenge today so I planned an early morning trip out east to grab the final caches I needed for the diamond jewels. For some reason where I was caching earlier in the week (on the Mornington Peninsula) diamonds were in short supply so I identified a few caches to target this morning to get what I needed. After a find in Beaconsfield I headed on to this one as it was the next one my list. I've often been past here before but never stopped to cache. Snagged a parking spot nearby and headed to look for this. Nice and quiet here early morning and I soon made the find. My second find of three for the morning. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache TeamThommo and Officer Primary School. Great to knock off a few more on this challenge today.
Took longer than it should have. Coords had me looking on the wrong side of the building initially.

Geowife did some purchasing in the horse shop and this one was close. After about 8 mins and a few places to search we finally had it. Proberly took longer than it should have but we got it. Log signed and all back safe again.
Thanks

Probably one of the biggest cache’s we’ve found! Such a cool little hiding spot that really blends in! Didn’t take us long at all. Thank you!
Easy find where there were no muggles around here except the spiritual workshop inside.
thanks TeamThommo

I had been over in Officer for an "all day" meeting that actually only lasted until lunch time... so that left me with some cache hunting time on my way home.
My first stop was this cache where I was more successful this visit... last time I had to pass it up as there were too many muggles around. Not today though so I was able to recover the cache and sign the log.
Thanks **TeamThommo** for putting this one here.

Just as well l visited your cache today or it would have gone missing tonight, it was out of its hiding place and would be muggled with a 21st birthday bash later today. There was one person here inside getting things ready l guess so I took the cache around the corner signed my name grabbing a TB snuck back and replaced, walking around the back of the building to avoid detection l spotted 2 lamb roasts on a spit cooking outside
After visiting family in Officer we stopped by for a quick find as I needed a smiley for the calendar. As the light was fast subsiding I needed to find this one quickly. Sort of knowing what to look for I started checking everything I could find. Then I looked at the GPS'r and I had past GZ 15m's back. On retracing my steps I spotted a related item in a strange spot that as it happened was the cache. Don't know how I missed it on the first pass but thankful it was found as I had barely enough light to sign the log. TNLNSL. TFTC. KKams

With such beautiful weather I was in the area grabbing a few more smilies. I had a bit of a laugh to myself, as I remember coming to this exact location a few years ago to pick up a tracakable from Mrs Thommo.
