Trickie little sucker this one Took me three visits to find it Good place ..well done
FoundIn Beachlands/Maraetai with rattll this weekend, an area neither of us have ever cached before (and that's a rare thing in the NI!)Stealth required at GZ, as quite a few people out and about. Soon found, with a bit of crouching and reaching. All well in the cache. Signed, and returned as found. Tftc!
we were in the area primarily chasing an ad lab point, but it's so lovely here that we decided to spend a bit of time exploring the area and picking up some trads as well.Fortunately there was no one around, so we were able to search unhindered. Thanks for putting this here
There were a few places to try here, so maybe we just werent looking in the right place but the three of us looking today werent able to find this cache.
Being back in the area of Auckland and having some muggle friends with me I opted about for a nice (loooong) walk, and they joined me they seemed a bit exhausted after some hours so off we went to waiheke island to visit some vineyards Well foundTftc
Replaced broken minti tin with small wooden container in a polythene bag to keep it dry. Please replace carefully.
Easy find thankyou:). Nice area to sit on a hot day. Cool rock from RockNZ in there too. No lid on cache
Out this way this afternoon to walk the MPI beagle along the beach for the last time before he heads back for formal training...hopefully he makes the grade an becomes an airport sniffer dog....Drove to the boating clubs carpark, and headed off from there...managed to locate this without too many issues.....The lid is off allowing the water to access the cache.TFTC.
After walking along the cliff walkway it was nice to have another seat to use. A bit of a search and the cache was found and signed. All quiet here today. Thank you for the placement.
We couldn’t find it and we’re going to leave but with some help of a fellow geocacher we managed to locate it. Thank you for this amazing cache and location
M24: had to wait for a few muggles to pass by before I could properly look for the cache. Few minutes passed, and the cache was in sight and in my hands. Nice and easy find, log all good and signed here. TFTC.
With littleblackbird1 thanks for the hide
Cool location, a little windy, but all smiles

Sitting here with all 3 kids in tow waiting for the coast to clear so we can start the search for our first cache of the day. Nice and easy find. Didnt have a pen so took a photo of the log
We had been here before but it had eluded us. This time we used a bit more of a methodical search and finally came up with the goods
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We are trying to wring one last holiday out of the season before we have to return to work. It was decided that we should have a mini break at Kawakawa Bay (Auckland) which was perfect for a caching stint. As Gap was still in town for work, we arranged to meet in the Maraetai-Beachlands area...
We visited this cache in November, 2022, and it was missing. We knew the CO had done a maintenance run and we were confident that we could tick off this former DNF. After finding a distant carpark, we strode over to ground zone with purpose. There were some 'boaties' cleaning their property nearby, but we had this one sorted with a couple of swift movements. Thanks stevecoxnz. TFTC

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… Our plans quickly morphed on the fly. After Gap finished his job in Paparimu, we realised that Clevedon was just a stone’s throw away. Let’s go that way…
No joy for us today. We stuck our hands in and up as far as could be. Then came a variety of sticks, but to no avail. Looks like we’ll need to revisit this one.

No luck here today. We thought we new where to look but our geosenses must have been way out. We’ll be back.
Was a lot higher up than these type of hides usually are, so have replaced in the same spot but a little closer/easier to reach ️

Had to wait out some muggles who had decided that the Dock of the Bay was a nice place to stand and have a chat. Fortunately, they finally moved on and we were able to move in to make the find. Made it harder than it had to be by taking the hint too literally and almost got wet. Came to our senses and located the nicely concealed cache and after a head slap we moved on. TFTC

Found after a bit of a hunt as I assume wasn't in its proper place. Have replaced
Came back multiple times.. sure we looked in this spot every time we came but alas we found it!!
Cruising around the coast to Pine Harbour. I wasn't able to stop in a lot of the places I'd planned because the good weather meant the area was packed. Made the find here while walking out to get the Lab cache. TFTC
A nice quick find thanks. No boats launching today.
Time for another trip to the North Island for Ms_KR and me. Wellington and beyond here we come. Today we did a little cruising around to the East and south of Auckland..
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Easy find but worth goin there for the views and serenity. Lid of cache is missing but otherwise in good condition. Bring your own pen.
Oh my . . . . Was resting at the bottom not magnetised to anything . . . . . Thankfully not much water in it . . . . Lid is missing . . . . Put a new log sheet in. Placed back hopefully not too much rain will get in. This whole area has changed so much from when we came here as kids with Dad to put the boat in. TFTC
Needed a cache to fill a dot day today so when Mrs NZ Travellers suggested a coffee catch up at a local place to here I thought great...I have a number of options for finding a cache out here!
Arrived in the general area a little early so parked up close to this one and strolled on over. Looked in all the wrong places before reading the title again and thinking 'its got to be on one of those so what am I missing?'. Got a little lower and looked up 'aha...thats what I was missing'.
Lid is missing and paper was too damp to write on so have added a new piece into the bag. Placed back in an orientation that will hopefully minimise water getting in.
Right off for that coffee.
Thanks for the cache.
