Found with KDosVerH123Nice quick find to start the day and end my caching hiatus. Coords were pretty accurate, only took a minute to find the container.Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the logbook nice and dry.Tftc
No luck I'm afraid. We checked all the wood piles just off the Ridge track
In the area for some bushwalking today. This is one of the caches we found. A great little hide.
A nice easy stroll to gz at the entrance to this lovely forest area, with a quick find, as drizzle started to mist our vision. TFTC Jentrek1
Thanks for the cache Jentrek1, I have been here before a couple of times but this time I found it yippee! It's Friday afternoon I finished work for the week and I'm winding down with a nice walk in the bush.

Challenging in the heat. Branch dropped off large tree in adjacent house. A bit scary.
This was a lot bigger than we were expecting! Found after a few false starts . Last one after a VERY steep walk on a warm day! TFTC
Find #7/7 with Fitzelfleas, after a fun day caching yesterday. Very bouncy GPS! Cache was eventually spotted and signed. TFTC
Wanted to grab one of the few remaining nearby caches, so this one was in my crosshairs.
After searching for a while, and enlisting the help of the CO, the cache was found and in perfect condition.

Quite a number of places to hide a cache here, especially one this size. Managed to find it in one of the first places I looked. Phew! Signed, just as the mozzies were about to carry me away.
Thanks for bringing me here by placing this cache, Jentrek1

Today I dropped my daughter off for a few days sleepover at her friends house so then I of course had to look for some caches on the way home. Well, in a very roundabout way home anyway. I had the scooter with me to take on these trails today and boy they were steep in some sections so very glad that I did.
A nice quick find here at the start of the trail.
Thanks Jentrek1 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Third time looking for this one. The big pile of logs now gone and I found it at last. Tftc
This one took some finding - no luck on my first search, a band of rain had me wait 10mins in the car and a thorough look landed the find. tftc
I had a couple of hours this afternoon to go hiking in the hills and find a few caches as a birthday treat to myself.
This took a little longer than it should have, as my preconceived notions of container size and type of hide led me astray.
A reminder to myself to keep an open mind when searching.
A nicely concealed and surprisingly simple hide when I did find it.
In good condition.

Quick easy find close to work while on the mountain bike, on mission to get some local caches. Tftc
Unfortunately didn't find this today, co-ords wouldn't work for me, although I looked into a log and around 10 butterfly's flew out.
Unfortunately couldn't find this needle. We were going to give it another go on the way home but the heat was getting to us. We'll be back to try again!

Out and about on the hunt for Ahomburg caches but seeing that I had to pass right by this one, I stopped for a look.
I probably stepped over this one a number of times before eventually finding it, it’s a little bigger than I was expecting.
**Thanks to Jentrek1 for placing this cache.**

Out on my own today getting some fresh air and freedom. Very worried about the tree falling situation as I plan to do the multi nearby. This is a good bonus. Nice easy find, Cache in excellent condition. Thanks for the cache jentrek1
Found this one the other evening with TrailStevo whilst monitoring the local owls. Quick find on the way back to the car. Thanks Jentrek
After a walk around doongalla area, wandered past this one and thought it would be a bit of a search. Fortunately found this one quickly and was on my way. TFTC.
OK, this is a bit tragic, but I now have a bunch of draft logs that are up to two months old. My plans of writing entertaining and informative tales for each one, illustrated with terrific photos, have become a bit ambitious. I will embellish where I can, and come back to some later, but will have to make do with generic logs for now.
Of course, this is not to disregard the appreciation I have for those who have placed and maintain each of these caches. I love youse all. TFTC

Nope. Too good for me today.
Poked and prodded but came out darker than I went in.

All good caches is still there. It is not the wood stack that it originally was. Now it is more like a log without a stack:-)
Out with Crustyvarmint on this hot & humid day when just as we were about to head for home, Crusty suggested we stop for this cache. There’s always time for one more and when I realised there was no hiking involved, we were in. Usually it’s the last cache of the day that causes the most problems, today I walked straight to GZ, saw the cache out of the corner of my eye, and had great delight informing the boys I had found it. The look on Crusty’s face was priceless as apparently he had a spot of bother last time he was here. For the record, such a quick find is rare for me:)
Thank you Jentrek1 for the bragging rights on this cache.

Out caching today with Knight_shift, I dragged them here to help me find this elusive little fellow. I had spent quite some time searching on a previous occasion, and felt the need for some extra eyes.
Upon approach, I started the hunt only to hear Mrs Knight_shift call out "here it is" Sometimes I feel quite inadequate!
Thanks for the cache Jentrek1.

Had a good search around but turned up nothing. Lots of charred logs. Looks like a fire recently so maybe missing?
Great little hidey hole. Found it reasonably quickly (given how long some "easy finds" have taken us.) Thanks Jentrick

This cache is in excellent condition and there is no for the "need maintenance" flag.
In Training currently and so switch the course to this area of the 5k to freshen up and add a bit more terrain.
Found between rain showers which was super luckly and the cache found easily. Due to the terrian there were a number of options but a classic style hide in the end, found further in then initially expected and well covered.
Nice location. [^]
Dropped off TB

Had to go out this afternoon to pickup my mask materials and decided to grab an isolated cache on my way home.
I though this was going to be a lost cause in the drizzle but I spotted a telltale sign pretty quickly
Cache logged with sanitised hands.

This was our second cache find ever! Our family of four, including our littlest hunters (6 years old) loved fossicking around in the logs and mud. No swaps inside but we left a little polar bear for luck. Thanks for a great position in the beautiful Dandenongs.
DNF, but will be back would love to swap pathtags as I have just received mine after waiting since Feb. I think I need a hint! Or I need to bring my partner as he thinks on a different wave length to me.
Was a bit worried at first that this might have been burnt but it's definately there. Thanks
Out gathering random unfound caches in our local area. Youngest kid was thrilled to find your path tag. This will add to our collection and count towards his collectors badge for Cubs. Winning!

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED PLEASE** ###

Hi there Jentrek1,
This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **MAY** need some attention.
You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.
Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so I am having to take the next step and temporarily disable the cache - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)
**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?
You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:
- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.
- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.
- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide, so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

We decided to give up fairly quickly as it started to rain and it was quite slippery. It was hard not having any idea what we were looking for though. We will try again another time we are down this way.
This cache coincided with a big moment in life, where a distraction was needed.. so, in true geocaching style, I went in hunt of a cache...
I caught up with my caching mate The Welder who had previously found this cache and headed out to search for the elusive cache.
Stones where turned,
Logs were climbed
Stacks were analysed
No remnants of a cache were found...
after 90 minutes I had to accept the fact the cache is probably no longer there!
There is evidence of a new tree fall, a disturbed gz... probably a extra element applied to a hidden cache.. who knows... the truth is out there!
CO.. keen to hear your findings

Crawled around in slippery conditions for about to 15 minutes today, no joy and no smiley for me.
I was hoping to pick up the unlove here. But after 10 minutes of trying not to slip off the logs, I decided someone else can give it a go Thanks anyway Jentrek1
We spent about 30 mins clambering over the log pile to no avail. Tried contacting the CO but they were away (hope you had a great holiday!!) Also contacted the FTF’ers and another finder who all gave us a good description but to no avail, we’re probably just blind lol!!
Thanks anyway jentrek1 - GJMMelb

Well done Jules6! we were getting very despondent clambering over this wood pile and then those wonderful words "got it". Thanks Jentrek1
That's a big stack of logs to go looking for a micro. My Friend BonnyBlack and I spent ages searching, was about to give up but then out of the corner of my eye , I spotted something .
Thanks jentrek1
Thanks jentrek1
Don't try this one when it's getting dark, it's raining, and your glasses are fogged. And I got bitten by a bullant. I'll be back!
I thought I will have a look after last DNF. I do live very close by;-)
Yes, it is still there.
Happy hunting

Well, after scrambling over this wood pile for a good 30 mins with the Geokid, I finally sent the CO a cheeky request for a hint. Of course, a moment after I pressed send, I found the cache! Had actually inadvertently taken photos of it. Great hide, TFTC
Here’s hoping the CO does live in the house nearby. They must get some good
Laughs watching people climbing around the log pile looking puzzled. Geohusband cane up with the goods again. He’s on a roll tonight. TFTC.

Love this one but no snakes after last week having 6 snake sightings in a week so bit of a let down.. great place to get the local dogs barking though..
Just knocking off a few caches which l had outstanding while making my way down to an event in FTG. l managed a park close to the gate and made my way up to the gz and spent about 5 minutes poking and prodding around the obvious gz and eventually spotted the little blighter. Nice to knock this one off my to do list, thanks Jentrek1 for the tricky little hide.
second go at this one and brought help this time. Alas no help at all . will try again another day
Find #1021
I was defeated by this cache on my first walk past the area but as I had to walk past it again to get back to the car I gave it another go. I really wasn't sure what I was looking for and was a little unwilling to get too close (despite the colder weather and the rain). Armed with my walking stick I poked and prodded around (more to see what got disturbed than looking for the cache per se). In the end I spotted something out of the corner of my eye and found the cache before seeing the camo! Glad to have found this one with no additional scratches/bites/encounters. TFTC!

Ok, take 2.... after a cheeky email to the CO we came back tonight for another go at the cache. We arrived at GZ with a good hint and were able to locate the cache reasonably quickly. As an added bonus CO had restocked it with a pathtag which my son took great delight in finding. Thanks for the cache and thanks for checking on it after last nights DNF. A good designed cache which I haven't seen before. Fav from us.
Came out after dinner for a jog through Doongalla with eldest geoson, and to find 3 caches which have appeared since we last cached here. After one find and one DNF, we didn't want to let this one get the better of us. The difficulty of the hide (well for us anyway) and the amount of daylight left decided we would have our 2nd DNF of the night. With 2 of us looking, we must have come close, but didn't notice anything and didn't come up with the goods. Will come back another time. TFTC
On our way home from walking in the area this morning, took the time to search for this new cache. Hmmm a woodpile, this looks very snakey (may be it will be in the really hot weather). We didn't have to delve too deeply into the pile before coming up with the goods. If the CO lives very close by we were probably being watched as we searched. Thanks for the cache, a very sneaky hide.

I returned today with the Mini-Welders, who were bouncing about with unexplicable cabin fever. Some outdoor action was needed!
I took them back to the woodstack, thinking many eyes make light work. I struggled here again but Emeylo soon made this tricky find. Maybe a group effort would have been successful last night...
On opening the cache, we were surprised to find a recently forged, and much in demand, pathtag! I guess persistence pays off! And I also received some much needed 'closure' following yesterday's near miss! Lol.
As for the rest of the afternoon, the Mini-Welders and I had some pressing Minecraft business to attend to....
Thank-you so much Jentrek for the gorgeous pathtag.
This really is a beautiful neck of the woods to live in.

Omegaman had messaged me about this cache last night, because he had got FTF and there was still a pathtag in there. He knows I'm a sucker for a pathtag to add to my collection!! The cache had been published as I was serving up dinner and then I was into bed straight after that. Yes, that's right, I go to be insanely early!!
So this afternoon, after a DNF from The Welder had been logged, Omegaman messaged me once again. "It doesn't look like anyone has got it yet" he taunted. What's a girl to do when a challenge like that has been laid down?
After dinner I found myself driving towards the cache in the evening sun with the youngest Pokémon addict along for the ride. We arrived at a spot that fitted the cache description perfectly. Hhhhmmmm where to start? Up, over, around.....nothing was screaming "CACHE HERE" at me. I messaged Omegaman for a small hint, and then another, and then another, until he was all hinted out and fetched the CO for me. How embarrassing..... my PAF had to PAF for me. Luckily the CO lives VERY close by and appeared almost instantly. She played a short game of "cold, warm, hot" with me until I happened to be very hot on a spot that I'd touched not once, not twice, but three or four times and had failed to notice the cache!!!!
I opened it up expecting to see my shiny round prize but NOTHING!!! That bloomin' Welder had snuck back unannounced and snaffled up the loot!!
All's well that ends well....the CO kindly gave me a pathtag anyway with the promise that I'd drop mine in when they arrive in the New Year.
Thanks to Omegaman for getting me out of the house and thanks to the CO for coming to my rescue. Great hide for a first cache. TFTC

The Green Minion and I found the haystack...
But we couldn't find the needle.
No FTF today.
But we were guaranteed cake once we got to Nana's birthday and that's almost as good, lol.
I'll be back.
Thanks Jentrek1

I had just got home and had begun to setup my new phone, removing the sim from the old one, it was still connected to wifi and several emails came in. Oh no, a new cache in my 10k zone.... I quickly re-assembled the old phone and 17 minutes later I was at GZ. Surprised to see Omegaman1971 just about to head through the gate. A short wander up the hill and we were on GZ. Cache was found without trouble.
**Thanks to Jentrek1 for the cache and well done on your first cache. Took a FTF Prize pathtag.**
