Part of the team is once again at a workshop down this way.. so kiting and geocaching to fill in the time. There was light drizzle falling as we found this one.. quite different to how the day turned out.. sunny, high 20s and soo soo humid. Not a lemon in sight unfortunately. Thanks 999Hunter.
Cache was exposed after a tree branch had broken off. Have hidden the cache again, all good now. This road has more rabbits than I've seen in years - I guess they like the vegies growing in the fields
Mrs Riddell was chasing some solved puzzles in the area while making her way down to the Prom for a few days of walking. A nice quick and easy find here.TFTC
Why do I always over think these things! After about 5 mins and one almost broken ankle thanks to a rabbit hole, I looked in an obvious spot and there it was. Thanks for this one!
Found it!Been driving past this one for a number of years (as we're local) and finally decided to have a look.Great first one for our grandson's first cache (treasure)
Oranges and Lemnos....say the bells of .....Lol...yep I was reading it as lemons too.....i was getting blown away by the wind as i made one more stop on my way home to grab this cache...thanks 999Hunter for the amusement...now to get that darn song out of my head...
Out with +Wife and EveTheStaffy caching our way to Warneet, picking up a few along the way. CITOed a dozen beer bottles and cans.A nice addition to our granddaughter's CDS account.
A quick find in sunset after picking up a dog cage. The houses around pearsdale are amazing. Was interesting driving down here. I had thought this area was all built out, so it was nice to find farming still existing. The cache was in good condition. Tftc
Thanks for the cache nice quick stop n find with the kids on a nice sunny spring arvo. Left a little something.
We found this cache today on our Casey Caching Clamber. We have cached on a lot of the roads in this general area but never on this one till now. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Early morning and the roads are rather quiet
Ideal time for caching
Found in good condition
Many thanx to 999Hunter

Found it , No lemons today, but I did find a cache. Log signed and replaced. Tftc
This one took a while but was worth it in the end. My son left a few small rocks from his rock collection for someone else to enjoy.
I was meant to be in Alexandra today, however this had to be cancelled due to the significant floods and emergency warnings still existing around regional Victoria. I could definitely use the extra time in my diary, but a couple of quick caches to clear the head wouldn’t hurt either.
We searched in a few spots here before OzHockeyChick discovered the cache.
Thanks 999Hunter for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

North Road is a route to South Gippsland that links with the new freeway link - M 11 just opened as an alternative to the Monash.
So it was on the way back that I spied this cache - time to do one of yours 999Hunter ! Lemnos I think is burning tonight with fires in Greece - hardly here this afternoon with rain.
Needed to drop off a trackable.
This cache was exposed on the ground so I tucked it away to hide better. Quick find then a careful U turn in the mud !
This is my 1000th traditional cache.

A sweet find not a sour one. Thanks 999Hunter for an easy find on our travels today.
Nice easy one while checking out new coles nearby! 2 year old Oliver had a little meltdown when he realised he couldn’t take the whole ‘treasure’ box. Took something left something. TFTC
I found myself in the area and trying to fill my calendar grid, I stopped for a look here. No lemon trees but the cache was found.
Thank you for the cache here 999Hubter

With a bit of a reprieve from the week of hot and humid days that we have had we decided to make the most of it and both took a day off work to go caching trying to pick up some caches close to home that we never see to get to.
Travelling along we spotted the sign so knew exactly where to turn and can see why it would be easy to confuse this name while driving. We pulled up at gz at the suspect tree but unfortunately we both had a pre conceived idea of where the cache would be and therefore this cache took longer than it actually should have to locate but sure enough once we focused at the right altitude the cache was spotted and we happily added our name to the log.
Thanks Hunter for a nice easy cache to start our day, we now know if it is a lemon tree or not but we aren't telling.

On the way home from an end of year event at Nyora .. it was really hot but there was time for one last cache before making for home .. 999Hunter for placing the cache.. it’s pretty safe and sound

While on my way home from a CITO at Phillip Island, I was trying a new way to go which took me passed this cache so I had to stop for a look.
The look turned into a bit longer search than expected as I had in my mind that I was looking for something different than what the cache actually is, got there in the end and the log was signed.
**Thanks to 999Hunter for placing this cache.**

TFTC! First one on a day out caching with mrx2 and diablo1234. Quick find unfortunately there was a dead animal nearby so it was a bit smelly near GZ!
Great day for a drive with friends. Find some caches with Mrx2 and Monica is evil. TFTC
Nice easy find. I went the wrong way and was able to guide Miss five round to the right side.
Thanks
Thanks
Out and about with geoson while doing essential deliveries. A quick easy drive-by although the cache exposed. Hide safely. Never been to this part of the woods before. Thanks for the cache 999Hunter.
Quick easy drive-by although the case was sitting out in the open.
I have replaced in a slightly more secure position but still very easy to find
Lots of fertilizer being used around here

Great quick Cache, thank you. Geograndie found it himself which is extra exciting. Swap left lots of rabbits to see too
It's been a while between Hunter caches, since the McCrae one I think. I have wanted to get over to this for quite some time but just don't really find myself in the area and it's not like this cache doesn't get love... it does. Visiting the Pearcedale skatepark whilst my niece and nephews have some fun on their scooter and gokart, while my brother at 42, takes along a longboard and my 20 year old skateboard. It's come to my attention that my youngest nephew at 3 years old is crazy! Yep, he has no fear. This is not related to the lemon tree cache but is why I was in the 'area'.
I also read the street sign as Lemons Rd. Perhaps it is the jumble of the last 3 letters being the same that causes some people to read it incorrectly. I travelled to a few of the Greek islands as a teenager but Lemnos was not one of them, even though it certainly sounds Greek. I think I have a TB somewhere that its goal is to get to the Greek Islands in memory of an old friend.
The cache was found quickly. I almost thought it was a real lemon guarding the cache at first and was disappointed not to find any lemons around. Don't get me started on lemon trees. I love a good lemon and my neighbours have several trees yet they're hardly ever there and most of the lemons go to waste unless I can manage to steal a couple at times.
Had to be careful not to get bogged leaving that dirt rd but all was well, I didn't stick around too long as I had to get somewhere.
Thanks Hunter for the cache.

Found! Quick and easy find with my buddy Munchy_Lorne. Finally found Artemis - now off to find more Wonders! TFTC!
Lovely day for geocaching. Purpose of going to Cranbourne was to buy a tap and thought the weather so nice I would sneak in a little geocaching. A cute little lemon surrounded by paddocks of veggies. On your turf today Hunter tftc
After doing a parkrun this morning we thought we'd do a few in this area before heading to pelican pavilion for a swim. Loved the hiding spot and other item! Cache is excellent condition. A good hide!
The answer to the question posed by the CO is NO!! The fruit definitely looks like a lemon, but there's no thorns, it smells different and the leaves are a different colour to our lemon tree at home.
Since Victorians were released from Stage 3 lockdown we have tried to get out regularly to do a caching run. Our plans for travelling the central parts of NSW and Q’land were thrown into disarray in 2020, so our caching numbers for the year ended up being our worst in 10 years of caching, so we are keen to up the ante this year. As usual we met up with caching buddy Rebel Acts, and as a result have signed many of our joint finds RASP.
After leaving home in the rain we arrived in Warragul to see it get heavier. The forecast said it would clear towards later morning, but we were more hopeful than believing. However the further west we travelled the drier it got, and ended up a lovely day-weather wise that it. Unfortunately as we took a break to have lunch it was to hear Dan announce a short, sharp Stage 4 lockdown for the entire state. Thank goodness we decided to do the caching run today instead of tomorrow! We blame Rebel. Last year we were on a caching run with him at Glenmaggie when Dan announced the Stage 3 lockdown. We ended up with a full house after that, our daughter moved in with her husband and their kids so we could help them cope with working from home, remote schooling and preschool watching.

Another great day out with My friends Skipair who picked Me up from home for a day out caching, we picked this area for today's fun and to clean a few unfound caches off the map.
This is one of the caches we found on our travels. Nope no lemon tree but we did find a lemon.
Logs signed as RASP
Thanks 999Hunter for the cache.

Yay! Thanks for the cache, we haven’t had a chance to go caching in a while so it was a nice easy find to get back into the swing of things. Was nice to see our spidey senses haven’t disappeared!!
Loved this one which I decided to get at the last minute while driving past.
Found at 1:34 pm.
Work had strongly encouraged everyone to take more annual leave so I took a couple of days off and did well on the weather timing. Today was perfect. I went for a drive to avenge a DNF I had plus then do a bit of free-styling plus a visit to my mum's place for lunch. All round a great day.
It's not a lemon, deserted road and the workers in the paddock nearby were way over the other side so a nice easy find was made today.
Thanks 999Hunter for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Rabbits rabbits everywhere!! And they looked *very* well fed! Luckily by the looks of things they don’t like the taste of lemons, as we found the cache without a single nibble out of it. Cute container. SL TFTC

After having Dinner tonight with my Uncle in Hampton Park I thought I would push on a little to get the time past midnight so I could grab my cache for a new day to continue my cache a day streak.
I don't think the bugs of the area were too keen on me being here though. Firstly when I was looking around the tree a mosquito flew into my ear. Then as I squeezed my way though to make the find I went through a spiders web who stayed attached the the web connected to me making a run at me. Luckily I saw him and brushed him aside without being bitten. Finally a bull ant crawling on the lid of the cache also almost got me.
I did manage to get my name in the book and avoid any bits but only just.
This adds another Christmas day cache to my list for a challenge that I am working on.
Thank you 999Hunter for the cache

Nice container, and a stray golf ball near by to add to the general strangeness
