I had a hunt around for this chap, and could not find him, even after checking the hint. I am not sure if it is still there.
Despite a thorough search, we were unsuccessful today.
Thanks anyway BorisB&Natasha

With restrictions lifted in regional Vic I once again teamed up with SKI Pair armed with My mask and Sanitizer, Today we headed over the hills to Phillip Island where we had a great day exploring the Island, the weather was four seasons in one day, but that did not stop us. There were quite a few challenging and novel hides in the area.

Another day-another caching run!
Since the COVID restrictions have eased in regional Victoria we have been trying to do a weekly run with caching mate Rebel Acts. This is our fourth outing, and unfortunately the drizzle looks set to make things a bit miserable. Our first 3 days were beautiful, mild and with a light breeze. We are living in hope that the skies clear and make it more comfortable, but this IS Victoria.
As in the past we will sign many of the caches RASP.
The wind has started to blow up, which makes these caches on exposed coastline a bit of a chore to get to. Luckily we didn’t need to spend too much time here, even though it’s a beautiful spot

We found what we are sure the cache should have been attached to but there was no sign of the cache itself.
Out and about on the island today after attending the Parkrun event. My 117th parkrun today, and another 20 cache to my name. A bunch of drivebys, a maccas breaky, ice cream at the chocolatier snd back home for a rest. A pleasant mornings fun, tired now, might snooze.
Pretty sneaky hide. Found on a school holiday trip to the Island. Stopped for the view and thought it was a perfect location for a cache so opened the app and we were right. Great hide.
Out this morning, caching around the summerlands area. It was a beautiful morning to be out and about and finding some quality caches. My GPS was all over the place here so it was hard to know where to search. Eventually I decided where it should be and I was greeted with a clever hide. tftc!
We were about to give up, when we spotted the mount for the cache and then deduced where it could be. After finding it and signing the log, we put it back into position.
Thanks for the creative cache! Wonderful!
Thanks for the creative cache! Wonderful!
Was not possible to check the suspect objects as closely as I would want to with muggles and a sore ankle.
GeoP is treating a muggle friend to some time out at PI for the weekend. Of course one of the requirements is obligatory caching.
Well that’s a sneaky hide but didn’t take too long to find.
Turned into a great afternoon only muggles at the time of finding were surfers in the water but no surf today at this beach. Hasty replace when muggles parked in the car park.

I found this cache together with B.F.Pierce during our wonderful vacation in Australia. We drove four weeks with a camper van through this amazing country from Alice Springs to Sydney. We enjoyed the great people, wildlife and countryside so much. Thank you for the great old cache! Best regards from Germany!
Erin1405 and I did a round trip from Alice Springs down South along the coast and ended up in Sydney. We had a marvellous time on this amazing continent viewing a lot of new and beautiful impressions. Of course we searched and found some caches, just like this one. Thanks a lot and many greetings from Germany.
We've not been out of the car much today as it's a traveling one to get places, so a walk on the beach was very welcome, almost as welcome as finding this cache. I've come across a very similar treatment back in the UK and was able to claim a first to find on that occasion. Today it was helpful as four muggles were about having their photos taken. Thanks for your cache.
Another brilliantly conceived cache. Easy to find when you know it’s there, but invisible to those passing by!
I ended up reading the hint and walked up to get it. Final day of our long weekend on Phillip Island, in the company of quiet1_au and GJMMelb. TFTC
The last on the island for lochb, G&J of GJMMelb and I, we walked around the beach to this one, so not the easy drive-by it could have been. lochb and I were first on scene and having read the hint I knew what to do and put my hand right on the cache first go (handy because there were a few touristy muggles about). TFTC
Due to the Mega being in Melbourne we (GJMMelb, quiet1_au and lochb) decided we needed a caching weekend away somewhere and Phillip Island really fit the bill
Today is the last day on the island and so we headed back to the Nobbies area etc as we didn’t have time to find any here yesterday before the Penguins. So this morning we went to the Nobbies and had fun at the Antarctic Centre with part of our 4 park pass and then q1 & lb did the earth cache at the blowhole. We found these ones on the way to the Nobbies. We only had time for the drive bys this morning, so will be back for the ones that require a walk We made an exception for this one as it is a short walk so we walked from The Real Cat Bay to this one, a nice walk along the beach. q1 made the find on this nice one. Walked back to the car via the road and continued on. We may have used a sticker or signed the log before remembering to get a sticker out.

Be careful with this one as I dropped the log while retrieving. But managed to get it back and sign the log. TFTC
Steps, oh geez so many steps! Thank goodness we didn’t have to go all the way down, not sure I’d have made it back up the wind was blowing THAT strong here! Spotted what we thought was the cache and sure enough...! Beautiful area, would be much nicer on a day when Mother Nature DOESN’T want to sacrifice us all to the sea gods! SL TFTC
A quick find today with minimal Muggles about. GPS was a bit out. Enjoyed the serenity. TFTC
Da wir gestern zu spät waren für die Nobbies, kamen wir heute noch mal.
Unterwegs fanden wir einige Caches. So auch diesen hier.
Beim Viewpoint in der Cat Bay wurden wir nach kurzer Suche fündig. Gut gemachtes Versteck! Danke!

Two magnificent April days in a row is not all that common so when you get them you must make the best of them. Out and about on the Island found us heading down around the Nobbies. The beaches here are magnificent with the waves rolling up the sand and the sun light glistening of the water. If I had the time I could stay here all day. But there was a cache to find back to work. As we got closer the GPSr indicated "0" with a +/- 5m offset so I looked slightly to my right and there it was. I like it when the accuracy is spot on the money. TNLNSL. TFTC. KKams
Relaxing on the deck at home when we spotted a vessel out on the horizon that looked different from the ones we usually see. After some deliberation, we took a guess that it would be heading for Cerberus, so we headed out towards the Nobbies for a better view. As predicted, on the way we spotted it passing by Cat Bay. Figured this view would be a perfect spot for a cache, had a squiz on the app and sure enough, there was. Found at 2:35pm
On holiday with the family (Barking Bron & Super O) doing a tour from Sydney along the coast to Melbourne and on to Adelaide.
We stopped here to have a drink before going to the Penguin Parade and we grabbed this cache whilst we were here.

Spent a couple of days on Phillip Island with some friends and the geowife.

We stopped here on the way to the Nobbies for lunch. Why sit in a cafe and look at the walls when you can look out with some great views. A wander down the stairs soon had us at GZ, which was simpler than we made it out to be. Signed and returned. Thanks

I have replaced the original container with another and placed in a more accessible location. Same coords but different elevation.
Could not spot or feel anything here within the boundaries of the instructions not to leave the designated stairway. If climbing over was required then we took that as not recommended by the signage here so sadly left with a DNF
Constant stream of mugg, 3pm must be a bad time. Stood on the staircase and studied various things for 25min, but not keen to climb over side due to sign saying not to. Had a few theories but never felt we knew the facts on this one. So a dnf to finish our holiday, but that's geocaching. Thanks for all the hides we attempted, we've had loads of fun.
We Managed to spot some penguins before finding cache its like a game of spot the difference
We do think a better waterproof container is on order though or so liquid nails as it was full of water unfortunately

Have been here before but always too many muggles around. Today we were in luck. Very clever hide! Saw it easily but getting it was not so easy.
But geohubby got it. Container was full of water and log was wet. But could still sign it. TFTC Boris&Natasha
Just as we were finished the muggles arrived!

Too many muggles sight seeing as was I on a glorious sunny afternoon left for another day
Found with Surefoot24. I went in the hard way and found an easier way out. As you do! TFTC
This was by far not the easiest to retrieve and sign. Luckily the main muggle who visited was my next door neighbour searching out the surf. He knows about geocaching and being an arborist, he's half interested but doesn't have a smart phone or similar device. I climbed the fence and looked in a couple of places I sussed out last time I was here. Len approached from another angle and was successful. I then helped her back to safety. Mission accomplished and teamwork certainly was very useful for us 'less agile ' cachers.
Boy the Cape Barron geese have been busy around the gz and we had to be extra careful where we placed our hands. The cache was soon located after a little climbing about. TFTC BorisB&Natasha.

Down Phillip Island with Happy pants for a few days of caching fun.
Easy find apart from the huge amount of bird poo

Lots of muggles in every direction. Good hint. Log is soaked and cache is full of water. Could only sign half our name and the wet wrecked our pen.
All quiet near GZ with nice views along the coastline. Initial search did not reveal anything but finally spotted and retrieve although not entirely happy about how this was achieved. As noted previously the container was full of water and the log was wet. Replaced the plastic bag so hope this helps. TFTC
We were hesitant to make the leap down the ledge first of all but we thought we spotted the cache and lo and behold there it was! Great container, not one we were expecting! (Found by my parents whilst on holiday in Australia)
Suscoe found this one this morning, some foggy low cloud was slowly retreating to the ocean.
Sunny and a cool breeze, what else could you wish for.
Thanks to Boris&Natasha for this hide.
We do love this place, such great views, such terrific beaches, and lots of Cape Barren Geese about today.

Found whilst showing my father (walkaboutwal) from uk this beautiful part of Australia. Nearly slipped down bank as it was very wet n windy . Tftc
On a family camping holiday and trying to find a way to occupy young kids on a very windy wet day. After stopping for a food stop at this spot i made a quick dash. At least the weather was keeping the muggles at bay. Opened the container only to find a full pool of water.log was mostly dry luckily. Quickly signed and hopped back to the car. TFTC
Wednesday again & with the school holidays over we thought we'd try to finish off the Treasure Island Series. Again no muggles to bother us. A few surfers but all more interested in the surf than us. Cache soon in hand.
Another low muggle one allowed for the job that I had to do to get done.
Another cache and little different. Thanks BorisB&Natasha FTC.

Muggle central even though it was after 1700hrs. Couldn't catch a break to grab. 25mins and our patience was wearing thin.
Great view. Took the kids down to the beach. A little trouble retrieving the container but got there. Hope it doesn't cause too much damage as you do need to leave the walkway. Thanks for the cache.
Too many muggles here today to even attempt it. Pity as I'm sure it would have been an easy find.
Really wanted to find this one but on a perfect day with seemingly great surf, there was no way we wanted to risk being "those cachers" (the ones that cause a cache to get muggled). Maybe some other time!
Out with cjfinda, robber44 and the family for a drive around the Nobbies end of the Island with a view to grabbing a few of the new Treasure Island caches - well at least as many as the kids would let us....loved the container. There were a few more muggles here than we would have liked but patience was the key. TFTC
Needed matt_geo for this one! He nearly got caught out with approaching muggles but he had a cover story ready. Another well constructed cache container. TFTC.
An afternoon drive around the beaches in this part of the Island in search of caches. This was a difficult extraction with matt_geo having to wait out some muggles while I signed the log and returned the cute container. TFTC

Over the years we have spent quite a deal of time on Phillip Island. Each time we find something new to explore or experience. Today it was fun to revisit many familiar locations in the company of Alansee, learning more about the wildlife, noting lots of changes and of course being rewarded with smiley tokens, as we enjoyed the awesome scenery.
Our thanks to BorisB&Natasha for placing these caches.
