It looks like mother nature has got this at the moment, I will replace shortly.
Thanks for comment that Mother Nature has this cache currently Coxy. We were out taking a look. Glen, Connor and Dylan
M24: yeah, having a bit of trouble with this one, GPS bit off, looking around in specific locations, might come back later.
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… Our plans quickly morphed on the fly. After Gap finished his job in Paparimu, we realised that Clevedon was just a stone’s throw away. Let’s go that way…
This is why we’re encouraged to read cache pages. The direction to the cache saved us from aimlessly wandering around. We found the hint and accessed an interesting hide. Thanks stevecoxnz and TFTC.

No use going by the coordinates today - had us everywhere. But with a bit of smarts and few minutes searching we found what we were looking for. Awesome hide. Inside cache was saturated though. We dried it out as best as possible and carefully replaced. TFTC .
I have been unsuccessfully looking for this cache a couple of years ago. So today I came back and I can proudly announce that I have found it this time. The hint was very helpful, as well as some previous logs. I widened the search area a little and the usually pretty overgrown area was not that overgrown today. That helped as well and so I eventually found what I was looking for. I was very pleased to find this cool hide. Liked it a lot, FP from me.

Found With oisinnz
Coordinates kept bouncing around, finally found when really widened the search and my son not wanting to leave till we found it

We have visited this GZ a few times now I think without any success and it has been one of those caches that plays on our mind. We even have avoided going back to look for it on some of our visits to Maraetai. Decided to try and finally turn this blue face to yellow today and Luckily we spotted something very quickly and managed to make the find. Wondering now if this is more exposed than it usually is.

This one had us going for a while. We didn't actually realised that was the lyric, although know the song well. Thankfully the cache was finally located. Great hide - worth a favourite. TFTC

Quick walk down the road with Miss 10. GPS was completely out so we followed our noses and found the cache. Log unsignable so we took a photo. TFTC
Took me quite awhile due to jumping coordinates and the place being quite overgrown. But such a cool geocache. Log is very wet
Back and forth until I read logs then barings, that looks suspicious. Cache intact, log wet but signable
Had to look a little wider to come up with the good but the hint was very helpful time time around
Wow had us stumped for a while. GZ coordinates went all over the place. In the end by fluke my wife kicked around the ground a bit and found that what was described in the hint. Beatles reference did not become clear until cache was retrieved. The log is a gonner, just a bit of damp screwed up paper left so couldn't fill in the log. Off to find some more caches in the areas now...
That was a cool one. Took us a few minutes but managed. The paper was screwed up so took a photo instead. Tftgc
Due to the covid 19 situation I will be disabling all my caches until we no longer have to self isolate. Anyone logging one after this date will have the log deleted. Stay safe.
Had some free time this Saturday afternoon. Spent a while here, the GPS was not too helpful, got prickled trying to prod around somewhere. Spread the search area and spotted something interesting, and there was the hint item hidden. Nice work on the setup. Afterwards, Mr Google confirmed I found the right thing. All good here. TFTC
I knew the requirements of the cache or thought I did in any case and in the end I was right but the camo in the area made it very tricky as did a crazily bouncy GPS reading on my phone that had we wandering around the place. Stuck at it and in the end spotted just what I was looking for and hey presto, there was the cache.
While not exactly Beatles vintage I knew what the title referred to and there was the expected camo - well done.
Thanks for the cache, all good here.

Found at last on about the third attempt. A far clearer area now than previous attempts.
After finishing off the geotour in Auckland we decided to stop for this one. Reading the logs and the list of DNFs we held some hope we could locate it seeing the CO had done checks and said it was here. Hunted around for a while nothing came to light. So check activity logs and bingo. Straight back to gz and my good hunting husband discovered the cache. Wahoo. Head bang in celebration from the bogans. Nicely hidden. Cache is a bit damp but log was fine to sign. Great way to end the day. TFTC.
I think a landslide might have covered the cache. Not sure but I couldn’t find it.
Checked on cache today... still there. (Check the right hand side of the path).
Checked on cache today and replaced the TOTT that had gone missing. Otherwise cache is in good condition.
Unfortunately our first DNF for the day. Cords seem a bit off, geo senses worked well but alas, nothing. Previous cachers reported DNF too, so it’s basically MIA for 11 months now. Can you check on it, Steve?
A lovely sunny winter's day spent caching around Maraetai. We ate lunch in the park across from here, and after finding Snow White and the Seven Dwarves we headed for Goo Goo G'Joob. On approach we could see a couple of people near GZ, and initially though they may be dog walkers, but then we recognised Supernanny and Ric. We muggled them just as they were in the process of returning the cache, and so we were able to make an easy find! One of us knew what we would find here, the other had to google. TFTC. Adding a Favourite point.
Was having a fun day caching these good Maraeitai caches as had day off....
This took a bit of hunting so widened search area ....but worth it in the end .
Had to Google the title!
Was just putting everything back when Mr and Mrs Kiwicouole turned up!
Lovely surprise !
Thanks stevecoxnz

I started looking in the wrong spot but soon changed position and found something suspicions. A bit of effort had the cache in hand. Tftc
Once again I was working down Manukau way today, so when that finished up early afternoon I decided to take advantage of the clear Autumn weather to take the scenic route home. Not to mention, find some caches along the way too. After my DNF last month I was keen to return and set things right. The CO was kind enough to message me and let me know that a) my suspicion regarding camo misplacement was correct and b) the cache was still very much in place and ready to be found. Back today I immediately spotted the camo from my earlier visit and with it soon had the cache in hand. This is a nicely themed hide. However, the replacement logsheet was very damp; it was tricky to actually sign. Cheers for the cache placement!
After finishing up work down Manakau way, I decided to take the scenic route back home this afternoon. The worst of the weather seems to have passed, now. Still a cold wind but the sun is finally out again. I parked up and got to searching. Spent some time here, expanding the search area. Found something that I thought was on theme, but it was empty. Resorted to the PAF option and was informed to look for that which I had just discarded. Oh dear, the area show sign of recent pruning, so I suspect the hide has been disturbed. I would, politely, suggest that the CO checks on the cache.
Looked for this one several months ago but had to give up when the neighbour started mowing his lawn very close to GZ. Went back today with Mrs B as an extra set of eyes and stared looking again where the GPS was pointing. After a couple of minutes I stood back and changed perspective only to find an object staring at me. Quick check and we found the cache in a place where i didn't get a chance to search the first time I was there. TFTC.
Sorry for the late log. Out getting a few caches with Agazo after a local event. After searching for a bit we decided PAF got a hint and there it was arghh! Great camo. Thanks for the cache.
After the spate of finds recently, I returned, this time with thegreatauk in tow. After a few minutes of searching it was already quite dark, so we broke done and did a PAF. The hide turned out to be really nifty for a night find. TFTC.
I tried this one on my way out of town. I used the PAF app on my phone. But it still seemed like looking for a needle in a hay stake. He said, ignore the GPS....so I did, and looked on the other side. Found the crafty cache. Gets a fav point from me.
Tough find as GPS of slightly. Great hiding spot though. Clue for those struggling is don’t slip!
I came by this way some time ago and looked everywhere! I thought I would find the cache after work on a nearby job I was doing but alas no!! Messaged the C.O a day later, he got back to me with a hint, I happened to be at the same work job today a few weeks later but this time I had a muggle with me Trina, she's an apprentice carpenter working with me but tolerates a small amount of caching and while we were searching for the cache after work I explained what a 'mushroom' type thing was and as soon as I said that, she said: "Is this what you're looking for?" I said YEES! I must have walked past that 6 times! So nice to have that one in the bag. We did the business and we carried on, cheers Steve.
Jag50, Aiden29 and I had originally planned to do a Whitford multi but with the inclement weather we ended up in Maraetai instead. Co-ords had us on the path but after reading logs about slips we focused our search elsewhere and Aiden rather quickly spied something that turned out to be the cache hide.
Ended up in Maraetai with Jag50 and Merlot58. My phone had me spinning around, but when merlot mentioned something I focused my search in one area and spotted something that warranted further investigation. Sure enough it turned out to be the cache. Very sneaky.
Had come out to Maraetai with Merlo58 and Aiden29 for the day. By the tie we started caching the worst of the bad weather was over. Our GPS had us in a spot that did not quite seem right. Fortunately one of our crew had their eyes peeled and we soon came to understand the significance of the Beatles hint.
No go for me today... I tried many places all to no avail. spent 20 mins searching.
Mmmmm lovely! Very clever hiding place but perhaps not the nicest! Interesting...
Didn't have a pen so will come back to sign along with some gloves!! TFTC

No luck with this one. It looks like more dirt has come down so perhaps it has been covered again.
Slip had partially covered the cache. Have made a duplicate log sheet as the old one was paper mache. I will replace it all on the morning of 22-04-17.
Camping the weekend with Vamber at Omana Campsite . Fish & chips were on the menu for us tonight, and with a long wait we decided to get some caches around the area. Saw something interesting so took a look and there it was, signed the log as KKKTS, thanks
We were out camping with KirsTim for the long weekend, staying at Omana Regional Park, and thought we would hit some of the nearby caches around the area. We knew what kind of container we were expecting to find, seeing as we were familiar with the song the title was referring to, but wasn't expecting this kind of hide! Luckily curiousity got the best of us, as did cacher's intuition, which led us to uncovering the geocache. Nicely done! Signed the log as KKKT, respective of each of our first names, in order to save log space. Thanks for the cache!
GPS seemed a little off as it was sending me to the middle of the grassed area. Intuition kicked in though, as i spotted something interesting and of course, after further investigation, lead me to uncover the hide. Interesting use of camo here Steve! TFTC
Out and about with TF and we found 30+ caches today with no DNF's. Knew the lyrics but couldn't remember the song but to be honest even that didn't help. Soon found this tricky little cache while we enjoyed the shade on this sunny Auckland day. TFTC
We already new the song and lyrics, but didnt know how to turn that into a hint for the cache. But we found it without trouble. Thanks.
We were out for an early evening drive and remembered there was a new cache here as we passed by.
We thought we understood the meaning of the cache name but initially found it hard to relate to anything around GZ but then all of a sudden..."Hello, didn't expect to see you there".
What an awesome hide, not what we expected but now the name makes perfect sense.
We really enjoy your caches, and this one is no exception, well deserving of a favourite point. TFTC

Out for a drive along the coast on a sunny early morning. My gps was pointing somewhere different. Searched where it was pointing but clearly nothing there. Went into the open and it pointed somewhere else for just a few seconds then returned to the first location. Don't know what was happening to my gps. Decided to check out the new spot. Looked at it and dismissed it then returned again after a more careful read. Great hide. Made us smile. Favourite from us. Thanks.
At a recent local Geocaching event I mentioned in passing it had been a while seen we had done any night missions and maybe we could head out for a few hours one evening once the kids were tucked up in bed. Somehow that evolved into me jumping into a car with Cats&Dragons, HKCB and RWIMF at 7pm on the 29th and hopping out of the car eleven hours later at 6am on the 30th. We signed the cache logs RICH an acronym of Geocaching names. I didn’t get as many finds as the others as I crashed and fell asleep in the car for a couple of hours sometime between 3 and 4am. Thanks to all the CO’s for placing and maintaining all the geocaches we found on our trip and for my companions for making the evening so enjoyable. I really liked this one. We had some issues locking down GZ and spent some time looking in the wrong spot. I expanded the search area and eventually came across this neat hide. Gets a favorite point from me.
Another year and the first trip for the team out and about while none of us had to work the following day. So todays little jaunt was to be up and arounf the Clevedon Maretai areas to see what we could get before sleep took hold of us. On this adventure in attenence were HKCB, iammrwalker and RWIMF. Departing Hamilton at 7pm after doing the pickups it was with high spirits and high expectations for another good caching year with plenty of miles to be covered before returning home tomorrow morning.
We hoped to get about 50 for the evening and my final taly was 57 finds along with 2 DNF's, not bad for a bunch of beginners.
What a great start, soon started to get into the swing of things and before long we were coolkng with gas.
THanks to all the cache owners whom placed the caches for us to find this evening. Am sure that we will be back again soon to continue our travels

I received a phone call about 2pm asking what I was doing in the evening. I said nothing, so the boys said "come caching!" So we did, leving Hamilton at 7pm to spend the evening picking up caches. This was my No18 of the evening. All logs signed RICH.
OMG we searched for this one for a while! High low, in the gardens, up the trees. Googled the reference, but it didn't make any sense to us at the time. It was only as one of the boys went further afield as we were pondering what the TOTT could be in this instance, and kicked something strange that we started to wonder if this was the right spot... Finally got it open and found the song reference, and happily signed the log and moved on.
I'm sure this would have been far easier during the day... doing it a 11:30pm at night just made it more interesting...

It's been a while since we have done a night mission, so with a few ideas thrown about we settled on heading to the Beachlands/Maraetai area for a bit of a clean out and to locate the two night caches in the area. The team consisted of RWIMF, iammrwalker, Cats&Dragons and myself (HKCB), which meant we signed the logs as RICH an accornym of our caching names.
Leavng home about 7pm we cached through the night, with the goal to reach my 7000th find, unfortunately the late night counting wasn't accurate enough which meant I was 1 short of that goal, but still 67 finds for the night wasn't a bad effort. We all had a great night, and found a handful of really good geocaches as well. A big thanks to all the CO's for the placements.
Very tough find, took a while but it was eventually uncovered.
