We are in Horsham for a long weekend away. Having never cached in this area, it is going to help us with a number of challenges. The hardest being GCA0HZW, where you need 20 geocaches in each Victorian LGA. We should get that in Horsham, probably not in the West Wimmera, Hindmarsh, and Yarriambiack LGAs that we will all be also visiting. Having brunch earlier today, we had heard about the Caf that recently built down last month, maybe. Looks like it was located almost opposite this geocache. Discovered the remains and this geocache while waiting for pizza at Bonnie and Clyde. Great name for the venue and pizzas With the CO replacing this one today, and with the rain coming down at 7 pm, it was an easy find. Thanks for the cache, Duntulum.Hunter
I am slightly drunk and walking down the street when I tried to ring the bell then I found this. Omg
Staying at Horsham cp. Had time to look for this nearby cache as I was using a laundromat nearby. Love this structure & history. Found the little blighter very quickly. Signed & replaced. Tftc
Connie and Rick had just arrived in Horsham, and what better way to start our western tour than with the nearest cache? People knew - we were milling around when a couple of local girls said, "Are you looking for the thing?" Yes, we were. They said they had once helped someone reach it and then left. So we started looking in all the wrong places. Eventually, Connie found it looking somewhere else. Thanks Duntulum, very clever hide
The start of a 4 day trip with Snips and Co. I needed this LGA but drove through in February without stopping! This was funny, as we looked, the first person said 'so, you're geocaching'! We were making it far more difficult than it was.
TFTC, after a couple of laps of the red pole searching high and low, I managed to spot the minute abnormality/inconsistency which led me to the cache, thanks again
Stopped here on our drive from Melbourne to Adelaide, and just happened to park near this cache. Ran up to the GZ quickly, and had the cache in hand soon.TFTC
It was my second day of driving back home to Adelaide from Bacchus Marsh, taking my time driving home and finding caches along the way. Today started out as a quite cold and brisk morning though as I eventually got into the caching I began to warm up. The plan for the day was to do a few caches in and around the Beaufort area before continuing the trip slowly caching my way back to Adelaide. My afternoon consisted of just making my way back along the highway, finding caches along the way; along with visiting the waypoints of a few certain multies. All caches were found in good condition before I finished the day in Horsham. Apologies for the generic log as I have plenty to write from my trip away.Find #9825, at 06:17 pmTFTC
Found at 2:34 PM GAFF1.And 2 years later we return our DNF and this time we do a circuit which we always do the wrong way round and then spotted a very nicely camoed little nano. No muggles, that we saw, were looking at us while we were doing the business [^]Thanks to DuntulumFeedback: Has the corrella been removed? Didn't notice it this time.
I came past again this morning after learning we found the wrong nano last night. Spotted it straight away in the daylight and signed a brand new log sheet.I'm sure we looked there last night
Found with Olga at 7:54 pm after a few days in MelbourneTook a long time to get it down, but persistence paid off
Ok so this is what happens when you can't find it at first, use the AI help to scan logs for help and get told all the wrong things.CO messaged me after I logged the DNF so I went back and had another go. Yep....there it is.TftcPete
That was Actually so hard to find, had to lift my cousin up to get it. So high up. Moved it slightly down so it is reachable and less dangerous.
Quickly found with Nibletricecakes on Day 5 of our Adelaide Leap Day Mega trip. TFTC
We sat here to sign the log and nearly jumped out of our skin when the bell chimed 8pm! Thanks for the cache Duntulum
Very cool hide! Unable to physically attain cache, but visable from ground floor! Unprepared to catapault geokids during daylight hours for this one!!!! Tftc
While we were waiting for dinner made a quick find here. Signed 10k to save space. Tftc
Found after running the Wimmera River Parkrun and having a delicious muffin and coffee nearby. Didnt sign the log. Thanks for the cache.
First cache of the day here on a chilly Horsham morning. A quick find with noone around so early. tftc duntulum
Out early in the morning after having spent the night in town. Absolutely freezing my arse off. This is a new LGA for me.
Thanks for the hide!Great stop to have a rest or maybe a bakery visitCheers the Hilly mob and Miranda
Quick walk from finishing the AL, get the circulation going before the next 5 hours drive home.
The solitary physical find on the dash between Adelaide and Melbourne this afternoon. Behind schedule as usual, and already dark when we crossed the border, so a change of plans at Horsham and decided to target this one thinking the immediate area would be deserted. And it was! Nice to have a Duntulum find for the day. I notice that all the recent finders are South Australians! Thanks for putting a cache out for us Duntulum.
The JAMS team (JJ52 allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) were on a road trip heading to the Rutherglen Mega event (staying in Corowa) for 3 days then winding our way home via Albury, Wangaratta, Bendigo and various other places in between. It was a great week with many more caches found than we expected. There were targeted caches, challenge caches, Ad Labs, events and various others to fulfill various statistics for the four of us. We were lucky with the weather, it rained a bit on our way over on Friday, then half a day after we left Wangaratta but on the whole it was great caching weather. We did drive a few slippery muddy roads, but nothing too bad. We also caught up with lots of people either at events or out in the field and enjoyed many great chats. All in all a fun time with lots of Victoria explored and then very tired when I arrived home. [^]
We were on our way home now and stopped across the road for some lunch. As this one was close we walked over and made a quick find.
Thanks for the cache duntulum.

Stamped as JAMS - JJ52, alllister w, mogni, sir_spectre. All of these teams are from South Australia and after some major planning we managed to find approx 700 caches while being away for a week. Also qualifiied for a variety of challenges, found LGA's and had lots of laughs. Found while attending the Victorian Mega in Rutherglen.
Thanks
Thanks
stopped across the road for lunch and then walked over for a quick find.
Found with JAMS (( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, plus sir_spectre ) Mitchell&hound wasn't with us this trip) crew. All logs stamped as JAMS to save log space. This trip we are off to the Rutherglen Mega and then slowly coming back to S.A. for a total of 8 dys and 7 nights. The targets of this trip are for JJ52 to get 11 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and a few more Victorian LGA's, Allister W was targeting 17 virtuals ( or as many as he could get ) a few more Victorian LGA's Mogni to make the Rutherglen Mega her 20, 000 find and also for her to complete all Victoria LGA's, sir_spectre needs 1 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and get his Victoria LGS's down to 2 LGA's left. We got 20 or more finds in a LGA if we stayed in there over night. We also detoured to stamp any challenge caches that we were " in the general area off " and to complete that challenge before we came back to S.A. This meant that some times dirt road (s) had to be walked down because they were to wet to drive down and/or haven't been repaired since last years flooding. We started off the holiday in the rain and then that cleared up only to start raining and a overnight thunder storm but most of the trip was dry. Over 600 caches found for the trip including over 120 lab stages in that total. Got to complete the GPS Maze at the Rutherglen Mega for a 2nd time. Allister w was the team driver for all of the Victorian part of the trip. I think this was the first trip ever to Victoria that the extension pole didn't get used but the 6.2 meter ladder did get a work out.

The JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) go mega... We came, we cached, we laughed, we hugged and we had a great time. All caches were replaced better than found. But like all good things it must come to an end and so we started our way home, it only took 5 days....
Thanks to duntulum from mogni

Rutherglen Mega Trip. [^] Day 11 - Myself and Anymules are still making our way back to S.A. via a convoluted route which just happened to have caches we wanted. [^] After staying overnight at Bendigo we were up early and doing more caches before heading over to St. Arnaud and surrounds. Into Horsham for dinner and onto Kaniva for our last overnight stop.
We had a DNF on the way home from the November Mega last year. So you know we had to have another go coming home from this one too. We found this nasty little sucker and we signing the log at exactly 6.00 p.m. How did we know. [?] BONG - right in the ear made us both jump. [B)] Damn spawn of satan.
**SA’s Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024.**
***Thanks Duntulum for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Returned today to avenge a previous DNF when this one was MIA. Bell scared the crap out of us ringing as we were signing the log.
I found your D1.5/T1.5 Micro Traditional called Aust Post Bell on 13 April 2023. It was find #18347 for me. Thank you Duntulum for placing this cache for our enjoyment in the wonderful state of Victoria.

Egg'n'bacon roll, coffee and cache. The breakfast of champions.
Found with catnap777 @9:30am on our way home from Adelaide, we would have liked to have heard the bell toll but we couldn't afford the extra half hour on our tight time schedule.
Monday was a public holiday in Victoria, so catnap777 and I took off Friday to make it extra special.
Our extra long weekend adventure revolved around using a CITO event in Adelaide as a good enough excuse for a road trip.
Caching our way there and back from North Central Victoria through as many counties new to us as possible, we also targeted challenge caches and anything that would help us qualify for them.

Cache found and log signed with dalerious .
We were on our way back home from an awesome long weekend away .
We stopped and had brunch at the bakery across the road. The egg and bacon rolls were scrumptious and the coffee was awesome.
We did a check on ehat was around and decided to cross the road and see what the monument was all about.
Cache was found by my partner .
Thank you duntulum for placing your cache next to an awesome place to eat .
The long weekend in Victoria had us planning a trip to Mount Kosciuszko, but there was no available accommodation in Jindabyne, so that plan was thwarted. Our South Australia and Western Victoria trip was then brought forward very quickly, and a plan was hatched that had a complete and varied list of things we were looking to achieve. It was tentative, as the list kept growing exponentially as it tends to do with us .
The map that we created with the caches we were hunting was broad, and a lot of miles were travelled to find them, but we are definitely not complaining.
The country we drove through was spectacular .
We left Tatura early Friday morning, not sure how much we could achieve before heading to Millicent to our booked accommodation, and then onto Adelaide after that.
We still can't believe that we found almost every cache on that extensive list. We even got to attend a CITO in Adelaide. How cool was that.
We had an awesome 4 days away enjoying this beautiful country of ours.

Quick find while waiting for a coffee at the bakery. The bakery was the reason for the trip. Thanks for the cache.
Spotted this one while walking up to it. Horsham looking beautiful on this warm summer night. TFTC
Passing through Horsham i had a break in my journey to make this find. Thank you for the cache.
