Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Making our way to Broken Hill for Mundi Mundi Bash. Staying in Gulgong for a night or 2, today we decided to visit Mudgee.TFTC squirrels0291
I hate to suggest being bold around someone's property but you need to be a bit bolder than usual for this one.
The clue made it nice and easy to see the target from the car which made it more comfortable, good cache.TFTC
#2773 Fourth of five finds with Rieka in and around Mudgee. Quick and easy find TFTC
Fourth of five finds with Aussiewolves in and around Mudgee on our way to Dubbo. Love the history around this cache. TFTC
Is this actually on someone’s property? Did not find hint helpful as nothing sun powered around this area that is on public land
Very clever. Favourite from us. Nice day for caching. TFTC JenneG and Budgy Nth Nowra with Tony and Anne
Headed north with fitzy_1965 and albida33 for the June long weekend.
Headed through Oberon on our way to Rylstone for a Community Celebration Event on Saturday. A loop north above Rylstone on Sunday to pick up some older caches and then out to Newnes on Monday before heading home. Found a nice spot to set up camp for the two nights. Super cold on the first night but was more frosty on the second….go figure.
Day 2 saw us up and away reasonably early on our loop out from Rylstone. albida had found this one before so stayed in the car while fitzy and I did a quick search. A nice quick park and grab here today.
Thanks squirrels0291.

24,863. Found with minniek and albida33 during our 2021 June Long Weekend trip up to the Rylstone region.
Heading north on the 2021 June Long weekend to the Rylstone region for a Community Celebration Event, some Adventure Labs, and a few of the surviving golden oldies caches of NSW. After a cool night camping at Rylstone, we headed off on a clockwise loop for today's caching adventures. Our next stop was this cache. A nice quick find on this one. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next cache on the list.
Thanks squirrels0291 !!

A day trip to Lue, Rylstone and Kandos for sightseeing and geocaches.
Soon after we left Mudgee, we stopped for this first cache. We crossed the road and with the clear hint the object housing the cache was quickly spotted. As I pulled out the log, squirrels0291 came out and we had a short chat.
I loved the verandah and the garden!

Had to take a car out for a test drive after some repairs. Thought I might grab a few caches along the way. ️ lovely area to go for a leisurely drive on a day off.

Find #2756
We're on the road to Mudgee today for a weekend caching and to attend a Ceilidh in the Country. We left Newcastle in pouring rain with our fingers crossed, luckily the rain had dissipated apart from a few spits by the time we'd passed Singleton, so it turned into a beaut day caching, with 14 finds, 1 trig and 2 DNFs....
Oliver found this one, after we read the hint. I hope they are just props, as I think we broke the other one! TFTC....

I believe I found the cache container, as I have seen one like this before (Mount Panorama in Bathurst). I opened it up but no log inside. I hope to meet the CO tomorrow at FTF event to confirm this. Tftc
We are caretakers on a property on BVW for three weeks so giving us time to log a few Geocaches.
The was powering this one today.

Great geocache. It wasn’t too challenging but you would think it actually was on their property. It is close to the fence though. Great geocache!!
TFTC found it,great little hide in such a glowing bright spot especially at night xx
Hill End and Mudgee weekend April 2018. I set out late on Thursday after a small car battery issue. I only stopped once before a night at Bummeroo ford. Friday took me to Orange via many spread out caches between Oberon and Bathurst. I spent the night at Macquarie woods. Saturday started foggy and then warmed up. I was heading to Hill end, and did make it, but I had to give up on the Bridle track due to a rockfall. Late in the evening I did find a spot along the Turon river and the very bumpy northern section of the Bridle trail. Sunday had me finishing the TRLT trail from Mudgee to Gulgong and a few missed ones in the middle of nowhere. The last day was a simple drive home from Sofala. A great weekend !
After the rough morning start on the Bridle Track it was a relief to get to normal roads, even dirt ones. The rest of the day was spent dealing with more TRLT caches with a few extras thrown in to fill in the day. The last for the day, I waved as I finished, but no one came out.
Thanks.

We have spent a couple of days at one of my favourite locations Dunns Swamp and today with the extreme temperature we decided to do our last cache there early in the morning have a swim and then head off to the comfort that 240v and an airconditioner can provide when you are in a caravan. This was one of the caches we targetted and found as we headed to Mudgee. Thanks to squirrels0291 for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
On our way to Mudgee we stopped for this cache. Even having read that the owners of the property had approved the location, it is a bit awkward searching for these kinds of caches.
Geo-granddaughter made the find, with just a slight push in the right direction.

Headed up with nissan 65 for another few days caching. Today we are heading back towards bathurst and Goulburn Thanks for the cache.
Found with ( mr grumbles) cullum68 on our way back to goulburn thanks for the cache
2/10/17. 4:41 PM. Cache #5441.
34th of 38 finds (& 5 DNFs) today.
Day 3 of the long weekend for which I have come up to plunder caches in the Mid West Regional council. The final leg of the trip late this afternoon was spent caching the small towns strung along Lue Rd on my way back to Sydney. 5 finds and 3 DNFs in this hour. I went through Mount Frome, Mount Knowles, Havilah, Lue, Monivae and Camboon, then back into Rylstone which I had cleared out on Saturday.
Another DNF at "Silly Stump", but then I hoped to get back into the smileys here. Not a fan of front yard caches even when the owners are aware of it or even at a CO's house, due to the neighbours. However, I mind them less if a hint makes them easy, and that was the case here today. Quick grab, sign & replace and then I was off on my way to "Mount Knowles Bridge". TFTC.

Tricky hide. While we didn't have to tresspasss or enter the property we did have to reach onto the property.
I would not have found this one unless i had read the clue. Did feel a bit weird being outside someones place though. But TFTC.
Felt a bit awkward in front of somebody house as it requires you to touch some of their things. Hint was very helpful.
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Great historic spot, worthy of a cache. Signed log and replaced. Thanks for placing. Tftc
