21-Jan-20
Despite the late hour I needed a cache for today so headed this way to see if I could put my mark on a log.

Probably should screen my targets a little better because it was high tide and a spidery challenge. After checking it there were easier options nearby and coming up negative, we dove in and fortunately discovered the hide relatively easily. Tftc

I arrived here right on igh tide and I was a bit worried that I might get my feet wet but, I think I must have been lucky as I spotted the cache quickly. The tether is rusting and will need to be replaced before it breaks.

28-Jul-18
Selva Girls and I had made a few finds in the area this morning and pulled up nearby to hunt for this one. We split up for the hunt, and after a bit of poking around I finally looked from the right angle and spotted the little beastie. Log signed and off we go to the next one. Tftc david779 and Berecc Big Grin

28-Jul-18
Next, stortigirls and I headed to this one. Our phones couldnt decide where GZ should be, so we split up. After a bit of a search, stortigirls managed to spot the cache. With our names added to the log, we continued on our way. TFTC

21-Jul-18
SO TRICKY! Finally found it on our second attempt.

13-Jul-18
Found - very tricky, depends on where you are standing!

12-Jul-18
Checked on this cache today and all is well and still in location. Recent Council works have not affected in any way. This Bison is well camouflaged so a keen eye is needed.

29-Apr-18
Lots of council work being done. Might be gone?

15-Nov-17
The GZ lead to bushes along the high tide mark. Searched all around the bushes, and in the bush branches (it could be a hanging cache) revealed nothing.

08-Oct-17
Thanks for this one. Finally found it on my third try.

09-Sep-17
When I arrived at the GZ area I thought I could hear someone in the mangroves but it turned out to be a bush turkey digging madly through the leaves next to the neighbours yard. The search for this one took me ages but after looking in and out from different angles I finally spotted the camouflaged cache, wow, how did I miss that, it certainly does blend in very well in its location though.
Thanks david779 and Berecc for a beaut hide and TFTC Smile

28-Jul-17
This took me a little while, walking here and there, looking from different angles before I spotted the sneaky fellow!
TFTC

09-Jul-17
Obviously hidden. Very nice indeed. "How did we not see it" yelled one of the kids. Almost wet feet too.

09-Jul-17
We found it but we didn't bring a pen!!! How annoying. But we found it. Awesome!! Rubystartrackers

04-Jul-17
We had a good search around but no luck at all here today.
Tide was out, but a bison can be so hard to spot amongst the foliage.
Thanks

05-Jun-17
Even after help from co and a long search

14-May-17
This one was a gem... Very well camouflaged!!!

10-May-17
I would have to say that I had a very cursory search here. With absolutely no way of narrowing down GZ I did not really out in enough effort to locate this one.

29-Apr-17
Third attempt at his cache.

14-Apr-17
Caching the area with Earthlight today
This cache was a well placed, cammo cache.
Blended in well with its surroundings.
While checkibg out gz for the cache a voice asks ,Have you found it yet?
Turns out it was the cache owner enjoying a cycle along the path
We located the cache ,signed the log and chatted for awhile.
tftc and the series guys
thoroughly enjoyed the mornings caching )

14-Apr-17
Whilst The X-Trailers and I were casually searching for the cache, the Co and her son we're cycling by and noticed us. Standing back she watched as we located the great camouflaged cache. Blended in very well. A fav point from me and was great chatting. TFTC

04-Mar-17
Quick easy find

16-Feb-17
Out and about collecting the new caches hidden since my last visit.
Coords bang on, thank you. Stood for a while at the high tide mark looking for inspiration and then miraculously there it was.
Second find out of four so far. Beginning to believe that I can improve on a 50% batting average.
TFTC

11-Feb-17
I had to get my feet wet and exactly where geobuddy was! Really blended in! Nice one! Thanks for the cache!!

11-Feb-17
Tide was us so no choice but to take off shoes and socks which were wet already from the first attempt. PAF After second attempt. Got it the 3rd time while waiting for help.

TFTC. very well hidden.

Geocaching this morning by the lake and this was the 1st find. Thought this was going to turn into a big search but luckily my eyes quickly landed on the right spot...TFTC!

Quess who's back, back again
MM's back, tell a friend
Guess who's back, guess who's back
Guess who's back, guess who's back
As promissed I'm back for round two. I figured midday would be walker free and indeed it was. Besides a few cars parked on the street sitting lopsided from their tyres melting into the bitumen, I had the place to myself. The sun was out in all it's splendor today sucking the moisture out of anything it could get a ray of light on, me included so again I waded in the cool water near GZ. I waited for my phone to settle then headed back for a look. This one was kicking my butt again but...I did eventually find it when I was just about to walk off. Crickey that thing blends in well. I signed in while hiding in the shade nearby then headed for the car.
On the way I looked out and noticed the little sand bar 20m from the shore line. That just looks way to inviting not to go in. So I kicked off the pluggas and went for it. Thigh deep in my boadies was nice, ah bugger it, I whacked my keys and phone under my straw hat then sat down, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. James, bring me a beer

12-Jan-17
This took us way longer than it should have because we were looking in the wrong places having mixed up our geocaches that we were looking for. Duh! Once we got that sorted it wasn't long before we were able to sign the log at this one. Thanks for placing it david779 and Berecc and for bringing us here to yet another lovely park beside the lake. Cheers and happy caching! Big Grin

05-Jan-17
Why is it always me that seems to log the first DNF? Just lucky I guess, Yeah right.
Anyway it probably wasn't the best time of day to be down here. A thousand and one senior citz heading out for a morning walk either seem to use this end as a starting point or a turn around point. I did manage to get a fair amount of a search under way, hence the DNF but I didn't want to push my luck with a few of the oldies that were hanging around chin wagin.
I did get a few good photo as you do when walkers are around so not all was lost.
Nice location that of course I'll be back to soon. TFTH dave

The tide was coming in when we found the cache but we stayed dry. TFTC. SL

**Smilie #4591**

Shooting the breeze with family, at Runaway Bay & a late notification came through.
Should we?
Damn straight we should ... Smile

After nailing the FTF on the recent newly published cache (Humpy) we headed here to make it 5 out of 5 finds for today.
Having found 'Daisy Elms', 'Amorous Arbor' & 'YOU put your finger in' earlier today we had passed on this one as FTF had been claimed & we were supposed to be 'socialising' at Runaway Bay with family.
Another day maybe?
Well, that was NOT to be the case as 'Humpy' was released which drew us back to the area.
Parked the Geo-Beast roadside & headed over to GZ.
The compass kept insisting I be in a particular spot but I just wasn't seeing anything there.
???
Geo-Mamma was having a good look around & was also being led back to this same spot ... we were either both right or both wrong! LOL ...
Not long after, it was Geo-Mamma who said "Got it!" with a cheeky smile on her face!
I really DO need to go to Specsavers! Smile

Made our mark & replaced as found.
Thanks for a fun little caching run down south.
1 x joint FTF, 1 x solo FTF, 1 x joint STF & 2 x solo STFs ... gotta be happy with that!
NOW ... back to the party! LOL ...
