Unfortunately my maintenance team no longer lives in Hervey Bay & I have no way of maintaining this cache. Very sad to say goodbye to my most favorited cache. If any local cacher’s are interested in resurrecting this cache, they are more than welcome to do so. Thanks for the memories!
With the caravan park closed,
I'd have thought this one might be muggle free
Aside from the passing parade,
of course there were construction workers on the other side of the fence !! [:o]
It's one of those days !!
I timed me grab when the backhoe driver spun around to dump a shovelful of dirt
Cache log signed ...
... backhoe spinning round ...
... the cache was put back
TFTC !!

After our wander around Freedom park doing the Adventure lab and some extras, we were on the hunt for some lunch. Ended up down this way but all the cafes looked too busy for our liking so stopped for this quick driveby and went to Pt Vernon to escape the crowds.
I was intrigued by the favourite points on this one. Maybe it used to be different to how it is now - is there something missing? The caravan park was closed which must be a shame for those wanting to stay here.
#2474 @ 1415h (#15 of 15 today) - would have liked to look for a lot more but after lunch we had to head back home south, a few hours drive.

Unfortunately it seems this cache has been muggled with an integral part missing and as my maintenance team (& I) are no longer in H Bay, it may be only a matter of time until the cache needs to be archived. In the meantime, apologies for the incomplete state the cache is now in.
This might be the first cache where I virtually touched the log and dismissed it.
Luckily my wife and geopartner was more inquisitive.
Great cache Arachnoughts

My daughters first day in grade 1 at one of the local schools so I made the yearly trek up to make sure I see her before she starts school and then there when she finishes school. The eight hours in between in filled with caching, gymming (perks of being at a national gym), and swimming down at the beach. Eventually I'll clear the area out, she made be in grade 12 by then however. Found a total of 12 today and this was cache 7.
With a busy beach front, it was always going to be difficult to remain invisible for this one. But alas, when I walked into the bush no one seemed to care - I know if I saw someone just dissappear into a garden bed, I'd be slightly confused. I found a suspicious looking item which matched the hint and sure enough, voila, a cache emerged.
As I was signing the log, a man walked past, said hello to me, kept walking as if this was an every day occurrence, seems to be different people up here
Thanks for the cache Arachnauts & the Geo-in-Laws

In Hervey Bay for a few days visiting. It was a hot day so en route to ice cream we stopped by this cache and made the find. Clever hide, tftc
Another cache that I thought I had a hunch about and grandkids had never seen one like it so they were very surprised when I showed it to them. Tricky little cache. Signatures left and cache returned to original position. TFTC
Parked the car, walked 10 steps, no muggles, an obvious place, signed the log, got out of there
Possibly the quickest cache we have ever done.
