Good easy one for beginners! Few bike riders around otherwise quiet. Nice bush setting, pen missing and the ones I had too big to fit. TFTC.
My first cache found with my mother in law! Love it as its one of my favorite places x
Cache found in perfect condition, was good to get out here and grab this oneThank you for the cachePika 17/2/24
While on a base camp with my bush walking club this is where our last walk was. Found the cache on the ground. Returned to its rightly home. Cache in good condition. Thanks for the cache The Tritonz
Find # 12702
Found with Tyred n Cranky.
A family weekend away in Anglesea. Down here to enjoy and cache the area.
Last time I was in Anglesea was Oct 2018 and I had left a few unfound. So back again to claim some more finds in the area and tackle the AdLabs
Thankfully being here in the morning we had the area to ourselves making fir a leisurely hunt.

Find No. 4319. Found with FUF009 at 8.51am.
Another weekend in Anglesea caching the area and finding caches we didn't get last time we were here (at the end of May). Geodog Penny came with us again and this time FUF009 came along as well. FUF009 hasn't been down to this area caching since October 2018 so he had quite a few to find. Today we made our way to Lorne caching along the way as we went.
As we didn't do this one last time we were here, it was on our list to get today. Another one of those spots that is tucked away in the middle of nowhere. Parked the van nearby and off we walked to get the cache. Geodog Penny enjoyed walking around the area sniffing all the different smells. Cache found, log signed and off we went.

Nice quick find which was good as it was a very busy area today.. the car park was full but was able to pull up not too far away. TFTC
After completing the nature loop and a quick snack I convinced the geokids to walk another 200m to find this cache. Deposited a golf ball found as a souvenir from our campsite down on Hammonds Rd. Tftc.
Mrs Dromaniax suggested we head off for a trip down the coast to get out of Dodge for the day. It was a case of 'twist my rubber arm'.
So we piled the three geodogs, Teeny Treek, Gypsy Girl and Mini Michi, into the geomobile A'tuin, and off we headed.
The geodogs had had an absolute ball with several beaches stops to allow them to run around and tire themselves out.
Once they were knackered, we made a detour to pick up this cache. On a trip last year, we were on our way to this cache when A'Tuin decided to not start, and we needed to be towed by the RACV. Today was a lot less eventful, and we made a simple find of a cache in great condition.
Thank you The_Tritonz, for this Traditional cache.

Visiting the area for work and thought I'd go for a morning run AND get a cache! Whoa! Quite a few runners out - can't blame them. It's beautiful here TFTC! And thanks for the hint. The phone GPS was bouncing around a bit under the clouds
A spontaneous drive to make the most of a long weekend that isn’t officially a long weekend. Destination unknown but picking up a few smilies along the way.

Of course, if you throw in a stray cache on the way to Anglesea, we might pick that one up too. Plus a clue I didn't have. Bonus!
This *was* the last cache for the day, and we *did* make it to the Chocolaterie. In fact, we ran in to Suss Vulture and some of the crew down for the Queenscliff Event the night before. Double bonus, with nuts.
Thanks heaps, Tritonz!

Out caching. Trying to make it back to Anglesea choc place in time. But had to stop.
TFCC. Found on a beautiful July day having walked the 20 K circuit of Aries inlet. Lovely
On our way to Port Campbell to show the kids what's left of the 12 Apostles and stopped off at this hide on our way out of Aireys Inlet. Looks like it would be nice to come back and do some of the walking trails around here when I have more time, and fewer children with me! A quick find at gz, thanks for the cache The Tritonz.
A drive from Bellbrae to Lorne today with Bogonghazy had us finding some great caches and enjoying some amazing views, and exploring new places. Thanks for bringing us here The Tritons. We found a beautiful rosella's feather at the base of the stump, so collected it for good luck
Out for the day with LittleBoss2 on our short escape to Anglesea. Today we started from Bellbrae and worked our way down to Lorne finding caches and Labs. This was the second of the day, and at another one of those places you'd never explore without caching. Thanks Tritonz for this and all of your great caches over the week
After a few wrong turns finding our way here…trying to teach Mr 12 how to navigate… we found this geocache. It’s our first one since getting out of lockdown lost count in Geelong yesterday. This is such a beautiful place to stop. If you’re lucky you can hear the wildlife over the kids complaining. TFTC
Found after a wander along the Nature Trail here. We'll be doing some of the longer walks in due course. TFTC.
This is a lovely quiet picnic area, good for a cuppa but we gave the long circuit walks a miss... we're too old for 10km!
In the bush Ride walk here often. Beautiful spot. Dropped off a TB that recently made it though the worm hole from the UK to Australia
I've passed thru the town many times.
Today this cache was on the radar.
A little wet this morning.
Bonus to keep the muggles away.
I walked round in circles for awhile with no joy.
When I widened the search there it was.

Second cache for the day, another win for the geovirgin and his new girl TFTC, in good condition
Dropped in for lunch on the last Sunday before lockdown.
Had a great bush lunch across the road.
little feet and I signed the cache, TFTC

I don't think I made enough of this spot today.
A quick drive by. Birds singing, lush green bush, mixed vegetation, tracks begging to be walked, tables offering a place of rest to share a meal
Which have me an idea. Come back again and experience all of the above.
Thanks for the placement Tritonz. A nice spot.

Lovely spot, the ground covered in pretty yellow eucalypt flowers freshly fallen. Easy find

A day of winter sunshine, gave us the perfect excuse to be out and about caching close to the strait - along the iconic G.O.R.
Sadly we didn't have lunch with us, what a delightful area of the park.
Our thanks to 'The_Tritonz' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

We were down in Aireys Inlet looking for at some holiday house options for the Winter Holidays if things continue well for COVID-19 so I took the chance to get a taste of what the caches were like down here as well. We had just completed the short Iron Bark Gorge Walk then came back this way to grab this cache. Younger Geo-Kid spotted this one for me and we signed listening to the silence together with a smile on our faces. Back to the tables for some lunch now
Thanks for the hide in a wonderful gem of a spot The_Tritonz

Found It......On our journey to the coast we had realised we hadn't got this little guy so after parking the GeoTruck we wandered over to a likely looking hidey hole and Bingo so after signing the log we continued our journey. Thanks The_Tritonz for the cache
There was already someone at the ground but fortunately for me, they couldn't see me as I searched and made a very quick find. Nice spot.
I needed to grab a couple of Letterbox caches this afternoon for a challenge cache I am working on so Ausfox; and I headed to Bells Beach to grab them. That was as far as the adventure was plan because Ausfox; was meant to be picking up his Dog afterwards but as luck would have it someone else did that chore so that freed us up to explore further so we headed towards Moggs Creek.
Normally it is me focusing and the GPS while Ausfox; just uses his eyes and spots the prize as we approach GZ but this time it was the opposite, Ausfox; was too busy looking at his device and walked straight past the hide
Thank you The _Tritonz for the hide.

I had a free afternoon and Simsfamily needed two more caches for a challenge cache so we made our way to Torquay then on to Mogg's creek to grab a few more caches.
I was to busy looking at the GPSr while Simsfamily made the find.
Log signed and replaced as found
Thanks for the cache The Tritonz

With a day to myself I headed down the coast in the general direction of Lorne to collect a few caches in that area. A pleasantly secluded picnic area that seemed quite popular today TFTC The Tritonz
A lovely quiet spot early morning
I'm sure the crowds will invade mid-morning !! [:o]
A short search around,
and the cache was found
Time to head for the madness of the beach !! [:o]

Found at the start of AWG bushwalk 205 at 10:30am. We did the walk to Painkalac Dam then up to Bambra Road and back and around Ironbark Gorge. All in all about 10km and thoroughly enjoyable.
thanks The_Tritonz

As they say in the classics, the longer a streak goes, the closer one is to the end of it. And so was the case with this one when with this find at 10:30 while on today's bushwalk with the gang, I broke a run of 64 consecutive mystery/puzzle cache finds.
But what a great spot to break the run.
TNLNSL, although a couple of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks The_Tritonz.

A day out at aireys inlet and a quick stop at distillery creek picnic ground for our first geocache in our home country. A lovely spot.
Great hide spot. One of my favs so far. Loved the guitar pic muso left. Couldnt work out the two matchsticks so thought, bugger it and chucked in 50 cents
While the kids finished off the nature trail I ducked over and signed the log. Would have come here for a bushwalk anyway so to have a cache was a bonus - TFTC
Nice place for a cache, we didn't stop for long but the weather was good and it would have been a good place for a picnic, quiet too.

There used to be a few more caches around here, mostly around the walking tracks on the other side of Bambra Rd however it seems that they are no more and this one is the only one in the area. In fact I'm sure there was one in this picnic ground as well but like the others have be "pulled" (for want of a better word!). We only stopped here for a few minutes to find the cache as we had a fairly long trip home so didn't want to hang around too long. Pity, because the weather was nice and we had the area to ourselves.
