Gone again. End of the road for this one, I'm afraid.

19-Apr-18
Gone. Will be archived soon.

19-Apr-18
Sorry, folks. End of the road for this one. Too much muggling, leading to too much frustration for cachers looking for it. Archiving.

08-Apr-18
It had gone missing again. Replaced but I'm not sure how long I want to keep this high maintenance cache going. New hint added.

03-Mar-18
Really had no idea what I was looking for...

25-Feb-18
How hard can it be indeed?
It seems like it has proven to be extremely hard to keep this cache in place.
I'm pretty sure I flicked thru every item and nothing jumped out at me, however given its track record I probably didn't put a huge effort into it.
Might try again next time I am out there.

08-Feb-18
couldn’t find it at the coordinates in the short time we were there

23-Jan-18
Cache replaced. I think this is the last time though.

31-Dec-17
Gone again. Luckily I have a supply of hides and they're easy to make. Will replace asap.

30-Dec-17
Yet again no luck here. Really thought we were on to this one but i would presume its gone yet again. Looks like it would have been a great find though.

11-Nov-17
The cache had gone but has now been replaced. Take note of new hint.

27-Sep-17
Well we had a flick through the items but couldn't find anything that resembled a cache.

18-Aug-17
The cache has gone walkabout again. I'm not going to disable, since it has returned before, but be aware it might not be here when you look. If it doesn't show up again in a few weeks, I might have to archive it as I have no replacement.

Being in the area I decided to detour to this recommended cache. Hope that the someone who took the cache is old enough to read the logs. Meet a muggle at gz who was swapping some books, one of which was by one of my favourite authors, luckily I had some swaps in the car. He told me of a similar setup in an old phone box around the corner on Manuwai Drive, very cool and worth a visit. Maybe a while until I am back in the area but will have another go then. Great cache location.

Gone with the wind again? Hope someone enjoys the log book

On a specific plan for the day to find enough caches to set me up for an epic milestone adventure for my 8000th find. It took a few hours longer than I had hoped but I eventually succeeded in getting my required amount.

Had searched here before but the cache had been checked out. As I was nearby I thought I had better give this one a go before it goes walking again. A very well construct cache, and hidden as I thought it would be. Great effort on the hide!

03-Aug-17
I have passed this one on several occasions lately so today I made sure I had time to stop.
This took a little linger than expected but after a thorough search followed by another thorough search I finally found it. Excellent hide, thanks for the fun TFTC.

23-Jul-17
Well, how hard can it be?

One of the locals had decided that this was a good spot to sell their abundance of citrus fruit, so had to break off the search each time a punter stopped to buy. We think a half hidden muggle was watching us. Maybe thought these old geriatrics were thinking of stealing the proceeds from the tin.

Anyway. No cache found after 20/30 minutes. We must be going off form.

Thanks tryfyn.

On an all night (and following day) caching bender with harisree and Gorby to clear out the Eyes puzzles currently released, along with the Kiwi art series and any other caches that we drift along past. Who knows where we will get to or when we will get home. but that's the fun of it, right...

Well this was a very cool cache to finish off the evening. I found one like this in Auckland a while back that was also excellent. For some reason, given the hint, I had 50 reasons to check another spot about 50 times, but once I spotted the cache itself I knew it before I opened it that I had it. Very nice. +1 FP. TFTC!!!

FITW FMZ and Gorby
We started our caching adventure with the midnight pirate event in Auckland. Headed straight to Waikato. Cleared all published "The Eyes Have It!!" series, The Kiwi Art Trail, also picked up few trads here and there. We also managed to squeeze in two more pirate events. One in Hamilton at 6.30 AM and another one in Tauranga at 3.30 PM. We managed to reach back Auckland by 10 PM. I must say that it was a long day for us but fun too. Thank you for the placements.

What a clever cache! We really loved everything about this cache, even the hint.
I don't want to say more and spoil the fun. Gets a fav point from us. TFTC

Out and about caching today with FMZ and harisree. We came down from Auckland leaving after FMZ’s midnight Pirate event, cached all morning so far with no sleep. It’s all about numbers today for each of us, all the caches today have been park n’ grabs including all the mystery caches we’ve done. It's dark again and we're STILL caching!

This was one cache we all enjoyed very much, possibly the best of the day. We spent some time guessing where the cache was, I tried one approach which didn't work, but it took awhile but FMZ finally clicked onto it! We had a giggle when we found it. I loved the hint, a double meaning there WinkWink It's also the last cache for me but not my fellow companions. Thanks for the cache.

When we heard this had been replaced recently we thought we'd better come and find it before it walked away again, so we made a detour on the way home after the pirate event. We knew what we were looking for this time but it still took a few mins to spot by torchlight. We quickly signed and replaced the cache and headed home to get out of the cold. Well done Tryfyn, hope it lasts longer this time! TFTC and a fave from us. Big GrinBig Grin

Cache replaced. It's slightly different now so note the new hint.

Figured as I was in the area for a Funeral (No 50. Smile) and this has been freshly enabled - now would be a good time to pick this up. It was nearly midnight so stealth wasn't a problem and I was happy to make a quick find. Cheers tryfyn, TFTC.

12-Jul-17
Good to go.

06-May-17
checked - not back yet Sad

08-Mar-17
Gone again. This may turn out to be the nature of this cache. Will keep checking and re-enable when (if) it returns. Feel free to keep looking but be aware this might, by its nature, be an intermittent cache.

24-Feb-17
No find for me here today.

24-Feb-17
Awesome the cache returned,it really restores one's faith in humanity. In between my first look & now I managed a mutual trade of info with a caching friend which confirmed my original thoughts but I didn't pursue my actions hard enough.Loved it tryfyn,a definite fav, thankyou.

24-Feb-17
This was our second attempt at this one, last time we spent quite some time pouring over the contents, but had come up blank.

Different story this time though, had the cache signed in just a few minutes. Great idea & well executed, thanks for all the work in setting this up Big GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig Grin .

### WELL DONE TRYFYN ! ###

Well, I prepared a replacement cache and went along tonight to set it. However, the original cache has now returned so all good to go. I wonder what I should do with the replacement cache.....?

11-Feb-17
Checked last night and the cache has gone. Temporarily disabled whilst I try to replace.

11-Feb-17
How hard can it be? Bloody impossible if the cache is missing!!
Hope to pick this one up on our next visit.

05-Feb-17
Wow...that was frustrating...knowing it's there and that it's an awesome cache...and not finding it. Looked everywhere (well, obviously not everywhere, lol) unless I saw but did not recognize. Will be back for this one

05-Feb-17
Unfortunately we didn't have much time today, as soon as we walked to GZ a bus driver thought we needed a ride, we waved him on and took a look around. We found what we though was a the hide but were reluctant to try too hard to open, so decided to leave for another day.

05-Feb-17
Wow must be a good one. Will have to come back.

23-Jan-17
Mmmm, I'm obviously missing the obvious or not so obvious. Will watch or PAF or probably both but I will be back.Cheers

22-Jan-17
Second attempt at this one ... knew approx where it was cause why else woukd you hide it there!? Love it ...

21-Jan-17
Stopped here but a person was waiting for the bus so I went and did another cache around the corner and came back. Looked around and decided where and what - had a look but nothing stood out - confirmed I was on right track and sat to have a closer look. Enjoyed the cache - well done! Needed a hint from CO when really it would of been an easy find if we stopped thinking about geocaching so much and enjoyed what was in front of us (: love the idea to the hide though (: awesome location

I'll take 2TF behind McW&K. I must admit that I needed a bit of confirmation and PAFd. I was thinking that it must be it but felt really conspicuous as the house across the road had garage open and next door to them had a kids party happening. All was correct in the end and had a nice shady tree to stand under. Many thanks for the fab hide. I suppose I'll have to give you one of my favourite points for this. Cheers

14-Jan-17
How hard? Pretty darn hard!!! It had to be in one of the last places I looked Very Happy. This is going to accumulate a lot of favourite points, and is well deserving of them. I reckon it's one of the top ten caches I've found, very memorable. Thanks!

14-Jan-17
(FTF) An awesome cache Tryfn ...when I first saw the GZ I had a smile on my face and guess what....that's exactly what I would have done....but it did take a second or too to sign the log ....as it's a bus stop and sitting down thinking the bus stopped and wanted to me a ride hahaha ....when you want a bus they are never around and when you are doing something really important they turn up unexpected .....any way a great cache and well thought out and great position a fav Thanks Tryfn

14-Jan-17
{FTF} which one??? When we arrived at GZ the obvious beckoned. Then the stealthy search began. I sat on the seat to get a better view of things and along came the bus. I was not ready to depart just yet. Rearranged my thoughts and the cache was revealed. Very clever cache Tryfyn and a worthy fav.
