A nice hide worth a favourite for cache design and the location did not have me feeling that I was exposed to the gaze of all and sundry. Im not sure of the hint meaning but thankfully not needed. TFTC
Found relatively quickly thanks to previous posters, thanks for the cache! Cheered us up after the last one was missing
Picked it up not there kept looking then picked it up again for a second look and bigo found ghe cache. Cache in good condition tftc
Did this awhile ago couldn't zero in on it. Plus it was a busy traffic day. Drawing to much attention to myself going in an around the trees. Half expected to see security come along to see what I was up to. Today was the right time in the morning to go about the hunt. Picked up a vape. Is it? Um no. But similar to the devices the lifeguards use on the program Bondi Rescue when the patients are in pain. Could of been a theme there with the title. Because they get a little high and laugh a lot. Carried on with my search and coming from a different direction I spotted something. Is it? Sure enough cache reveal itself. Great start to my morning walk. Tftc.
Ok we also had no idea what the hint meant. Just need to be in the right spot to spot the hide. Didn't spend too much time looking thankfully.Thank you tryfyn for placing this cache.Log signed as B&PFind number 5106
Okay so this had us beat but the NSWOA picked up what we thought was the cache...word of advice, avoid the package with the can in it... the maggots were bigger than us... searching searching BINGO! the wee fella nabbed it. Thanks Tryfyn
Not bad for a night time find, but honestly no idea what that hint means, but it didnt matter as Reschedule went digging around and found it.
Out the corner or my eyes something didn't quite look right, grabbed the item in question and success! Not bad for a night time caching mission with kre8ive. The logbook really didn't want to accept my pen so hopefully my picture loads as proof!Between Kre8ive and I we couldn't figure out what the hint meant but alas, it was not required. Tftc!
was out for a long walk today and stopped by here to get this cache.
I'd just started looking for this one once before when I got the call the van was ready for picking up, so it wasn't really much of an attempt at all. Back today, and it was located fairly quickly this time.
Thanks for putting this here

Day 13 on our holiday in New Zealand. Today we are in the area and surrounding area of Rotorua. We also visited this tradi, found it, and signed the logbook.

Stayed the night on Tauranga on the way home and woke up to drizzle. Decided to head to the Pioneer Village for some nearby caches. Mr Rubbishparty looked for this first but without success. That’s usually a great incentive for Mrs Rubbishparty to have a go. As you can guess she was soon explaining with some glee the details of the find to Mr Rubbishoarty. His only defence was that one shouldn’t confuse one’s flora. A great hide that will keep Mrs Rubbishparty chuckling all day. Happy to add a FP. Thanks for the smiley
Tried my hardest to look without looking like weirdo I think someone has stolen it
A nice quick find thanks, once I stopped looking and started picking up!.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee tour of the North Island. The weather was mostly fine. I got in some biking and walking, but too many dnf's for my liking. We cruised around Tauranga And we had another great day!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Making the best of a lovely sunny winters day for a bike cruise around the countryside for some smilies. And what a great day it was! This fun cache also made us smile, especially when none of the passers-by took the slightest bit of notice of what we were up to. Cache is all good. Earns a fave from us. TFTC
At GZ the cache was quickly spotted. Love the camo. Lots of muggles around here so timing was everything.
Took a bit of fishing around before we sucked it up and checked the hint. Some what helped exclude other areas but a minute later we had our fingers on it. Still busy at 11.30pm on the road!
Sneaky hide indeed. I liked this a lot. Had to be very stealthy and we found and replaced it in the nick of time before a pedestrian walked by.
Found the clue item, not sure what the number meant. As it was night just ferreted around & there it was. Awesome cache, definitely deserves a fav point. Tftc
Had a good look around where the hint was saying but unfortunately found nothing obvious then a whole heap of cars started turning up so flagged it away.
Several of the nearby patients were watching me and I didn’t want to set off their conspiracy theories.
Thankfully the light sequence was kind to us and we managed to get a couple of breaks in the traffic to grab and replace without drawing too much attention to ourselves. Fun find. TFTC
It was only after I googled the hint I realised how to read it properly!! A little bit of searching around with the kids, 11 and 5, nicely hidden
I have a 3 month sabbatical mostly traveling around the planet. My goal is to find and log 1000 caches. New Zealand is my 4th station traveling from south Christchurch to north Auckland, my first visit here, its far away. This is my sabbatical-cache #922.
#867 - On a mission today with Taschynz to get as many as we over this side of town. Every time I have tried to do this one, someone has been standing right by it!! but not today, yay! so we managed to get hold of this one thanks to the hint. Great camo. TFTC
Found on the 30/-1-2020.
Out getting some exercise for my next Kaweka cache trip. Gotta be my favorite

Certainly a busy hospital, once we sorted a parking spot it was on with the hunt - nicely camo-d cache, earns a fav, TFTC
Found the right zone easily enough. Took a couple more minutes to zero in on the cleverly camo-ed cache. tfth
We are in Tauranga for the weekend and after we had breakfast this morning we had a look to see whether there were any caches nearby. This was just up the road, and thankfully after we wandered up, it was a nice quick find. Really liked the camo here. We had just signed and returned the cache when we were approached by a local after a cigarette. Time for us to move on!!
Out and about on the bikes today.
Done close on 50km. This is the last cache before a well earned ale before heading home.
I was onto this straight away.
Great camo earns a fav from me.
Cheers

Very tricky natural camo, just enough rubbish to make us a little reluctant to get into it, and complete cluelessness meant this one stumped us for awhile. Got the word but not the number part of the hint and it didn’t help a bit, even now we’ve found it. TFTC
Out and about dodging showers and finding smilies. Found the hint item but took a while to locate the hide TFTC.
Very cool camo...... almost didn't
realise ... then aha ....
Thanks tryfyn
Fave Point!

Mr Northwood took one of the junior Northwoods to Mount Maunganui for a sports tournament and some geocaching. Tauranga and the Mount are where Northwood senior grew up.
No joy here. Had a look around the big block nearby, didn't really get the hint. So moved on.

Just what the doctor ordered... a cache 363m from where I was delivering some training today! A quick easy find at lunchtime - the coffee is obviously working... TFTC
The first day back at work for 2019 and just had to have a go at this one on the way home as I saw it was back in play.
It is always great to turn a blue face into a yellow smiley so a big thank you to the CO for replacing it.
The cache is very cool and a great location in a high muggle area.

I was going to archive this cache, seeing as how the cache is gone and I didn't have a suitable container but then I found something even better to keep it going! Watch this space - the cache will return after a little manufacturing...
I have had a couple of goes at this one but as per the time ralitive logs it is a DNF for me.
The clue makes sence but I had a really good search yesterday with no luck.
I appreciate your time to check the cache so you can confirm it's still there so we can have another crack at it.
Cheers Flippaduck

Logging a list of caches I'd forgotten about, found with nzkeko on 23/8. Thanks for this, Good camo
Kathykaches and I dropped off our wee mate at the squash club and then decided to do a quick night caching mission. After failing to find "Unsquashable", we came here to grab the three hospital caches. Had a good hunt around, both of our GPS were bouncing around so our searching area was quite big. Eventually spotted something that looked not quite right and there it was. Thanks for the cache!
A mini night-caching foray around the hospital with SB20 brought us to this spot and it took a little bit of circling all the obvious possible spots before SB20 once again had found what we were looking for...or had she?...it is isn't it?...it must be...but...where? A great hide; and the clue...I get it now. Tftc.
This was our last cache for the night. Had already picked up the cache twice but thought I must be wrong because I couldn't get into it... turns out I was trying the 'wrong' way... bugger damn and blast! Khonig got one up on me tonight but it's a seriously good cache and definitely worth a favourite point from me
We were here this time last week but inside as miss lu fell off her scooter and bent a bone in her arm! (Who knew you could bend bones!?). Tonight's visit was much more enjoyable, just me and Mr rosielu as spy3 (nana) is babysitting lu again This one took awhile. Figured out half the clue, only the words made sense. We then had a quick Google to do some picture research ... haha. Tricky hide tftc
Cool cache found after working out the clue thanks to @kudz who was along for this geo-sesh
That was awesome! Didn't find it first time, but during the day, and after reading the clue, we got it. Amazing camouflage!
Your comments about the hospital I applaud,i have spent more than my fair share in there company & likewise agree the service is world class.Had to borrow there carpark so the walk wasn't too much & just popped over the fence.GZ was simple after having deciphered the hint & was lucky enough to spot it straight away.Very well done tryfyn thankyou,a fav.
Amazing camo. For a change I didn't need the clue, which was good because I didn't understand it when I looked afterwards! TFTC
Figured out what the hint meant so we knew we were at the right spot. Didn't take too long after that to spot the cache. Cool camo. Tftc
#1997. Counting down to a milestone.
Had an orthopaedic appointment with my surgeon today and after I thought I might as well grab this one.
Luckily it was an easy find because the hint wasn't going to help me. I have no idea what the hint means.

3281 Having and afternoon and evening over the Kamais clearing some caches. I arrived at this one after dark and thought I knew where cache would be but no luck. So I circled around before coming back to the original place. There it was. I had already discarded it previously. Gave me a laugh. Like the camo. But then I stopped laughing as I couldn.t get my pen to write. Eventually I was able to write/scratch on the top of one side. Then it took me some time to get the log back in before returning to it's place. Thanks for the placement.
After the recent work from the CO. Decided had to try this one again and sure enough it was right where I looked last time. Thank you
Cache replaced and ready to go. There's been some clearing here. Perhaps the camouflage on the old cache was just too good...
Figured out the hint, just not the 820 or 028? Bearing/height? Unsure, we searched throughly, found a lot of rubbish and some dumped tools and screwdrivers that have clearly been used to break into cars :/ had to call it quits after a decent search and no luck.
A nice little 1/2 day caching over in the Bay in the company of RWIMF which necessitated an early start and a few cahaes to being a bit of a clean up of the local area to continue the work towards keeping control on all the placements that abound over this way. These early morning ventures are always more fun when there are so few muggles or muggle cars to contend with.
We were fortunate enough to even manage a FTF at the start of the day.
A little bit of imaginative parking and RWIMF carried out the function of grab and dash back to the car. In the time we were there on 1 car came past. must still be too early for the locals
Thanks to all the CO's for the work that they put into maintaining these caches in the BOP

Cats & Dragons sent me a text a few days ago asking what I was planning for the holiday. "dunno" was the reply, so he suggested a half day caching. What I always fail to think about is just how hard it is to get up so early in the morning!
We were here at 7:30am, and with no cars around I jumped out to nab the cache. In my hurry while I wrote our names, I don't know if I dated the log... Oh well, On our way again now

02/05/17 22:35 Had to get to this before it was covered in spiderwebbs. Thanks for this, nice to find a TGA cache for a change, especially one owned by a finder of my caches. Great camo! Cheers, GC.
On our way home from a function in Hairini and since today was a Souvenir Day we had to find at least one cache. This fit the bill nicely given that Mr S was in his dinner suit and didn't want to mess it up. He used to know Tauranga Hospital carpark quite well as he was involved in the sales and staff training of some of the equipment in the background pictures. However it has changed a bit over the last few years but we still managed to find our way to GZ where he soon found the cache.
Mrs S remember's that show quite well, and also When The Boat Comes In. It is a pity we don't get quality shows like those any more.
Thanks tryfyn. One more smilie in Tauranga.

Love this type of cache. Out with Mrswestnz and dropped folk off at hospital to visit...so a great opportunity to pick this one up. Tftc
I had some time off this week due to it being school holidays and decided to go on a night mission to Tauranga. HKCB was keen to come along and suggested we make the two new UV caches our focus and then grab whatever else we could along the way. I picked HKCB up after dinner and dropped him home about 2am. Unlike me, he had to work the next day. Many of the caches took longer to find than they should have, we never the less had an enjoyable night out. A big thanks to all the CO’s for placing and maintaining the caches and making our mini adventure possible.
Another nice hide that we were onto quickly this evening.

Out with Iammrwalker and a bit of a night mission around Tauranga. With only limited time available for us our main focus for the night were the two new UV caches here, and of course anything else we were passing by. A fairly successful night in the end however some hides took a while for us to locate.
No problems with this camo, though lesser camo has tripped us up tonight. Thanks for the hide.

I'd be meaning to get around to this for a while now but every time I took a 10 min break I'd forget my phone but continue the search figuring I knew the area and roughly where it was. Nope. But now that I've finally found it I'm wondering what took so long? Well it was nicely crafted and it's the cache I'm using for the 3 Million Caches souvenir. Cheers tryfyn TFTC
Pagenz had to visit a friend at the hospital so after that we found a few caches before heading back to Rotorua. No problems with the cache. Thanks
