Dieser Cache konnte heute leider nicht erfolgreich geloggt werden.Danke an den owner fr's legen und pflegen TFTC Schmerzbefreit
Up to Lumsden for the night, then back to ChCh tomorrow. Get some in before I go, and hopefully ahead of the rain... See how that pans out. Not sure if this is meant to be attached to a "Welcome to Winton" sign, but if you can't find the sign, then the cache might prove difficult as well.....Cheers!
Scrambled round and found it. Starting to cool off but been a productive morning caching with TheDoolittlesNZ. Tftc
Found with CatseyesNZ. One does feel a little conspicuous hunting around in places like this. We didn’t find it easily but we did find it.
Used my head - I’ve seen ones like this before. Where’s the best place to hide?! Hooray - success!! It is there ️
We'd come via Winton to look for a puzzle cache. I suggested stopping to look for this one as we were driving right by it, but with no luck after a short search Troodles was keen to continue to look for higher priority finds.
Has been a number of years since I have been up this way. Nice to grab this one. TFTC grandville86a
No luck!
We parked in the save area, walked around, but didn't find it.
Greetings from Germany Felsmaus.

Nice little afternoon adventure for me! The cache is most definitely there TFTC!!
Being in the vicinity today had a check on this one. Still in situ no need for a premature 'needs archive' log, all good here.
When I pulled up I had a feeling that I'd been here before. Checked the obvious first and then found it quickly somewhere else. TFTC # 16,754
On a three week trip to the lower South Island with tmann421 hunting caches.
Enjoyed the trip around and the challenge of the finds.

Hi Winton. Great meeting you. Left my calling card here. Cheers.
Thursday 5 November. Wintons wherigo is on the radar today also visited Foresthill. Time to go exploring Toby!
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

Wasn’t quite were I expected the cache to be. Went to high school here many years ago.?
Funny old game this. A year after a dnf almost tripped over it. One more smiley for the map.
Day 2 of the family pilgrimage to find all of Uncle Granville's caches.
Thanks Granville, you are missed.
Salamat!

Off to get a few solved puzzles in Winton plus one or two Trads but only when the weather fined up.
This Trad was in the way. Replaced the sodden log with a nice new waterproof one.
Cheers for the cache.

A quick find today, found while trying to look innocent to the passing traffic. Log very wet and getting pretty knackered, unfortunately we didn't have anything suitable to replace it. TFTC [^]
I guess, partly because this is an exposed location and I wanted to be quick, I was trying to be a smarty pants and decided I knew where this cache would likely be hidden. After coming up empty, I decided to check what my GPSr was telling me; it then became a simple matter.
Searched the wrong spot for a starter before clicking on to the correct place. TFTC
No luck today. I searched the obvious then had a quick look further afield before a lady came by walking her shetland pony. We had a quick chat but no more time to look so DNF for us today.
Found on a caching journey into Southland today with Bitsprayer today. All caches found in good condition. Really enjoyed the challenge and the many hours spent on the puzzles caches to unravel the coordinates. Also great to travel along the many roads in the area. Many thanks to the various cache owners for placing and maintaining their caches. TFTC
Scouted around for five or so minutes but no luck today. Lots of traffic on the main road, so didn't linger too long.
Rain starting to ease now, did not take to long to hunt down. Thanks Bitsprayer
Nice place to put a cache. Took me a while to pin point it but got there in the end. TFTC
TFTC - my second hunt for this cache - employed the services of Mrs Hazzer to solve my problem
Really is an easy find -
Beautiful Southland day to grab a couple of new caches out this way after space walkers meeting today

Beautiful Southland day to grab a couple of new caches out this way after space walkers meeting today
I'ive started my beautiful trip of the South Island in Christchurch, I've visited many beautiful locations. I've travelled via Lake Tapeko, from Dunedin to the most southern part of Bluff. I've then continued with a cruise in Milford Sound and then back to Queenstown.
From there on I've visited Wanaka and the Haast pass to the Franz Josef glacier. I went all the way up to the Abel Tasman NP. Richmond und Nelson as the sonnierst cities were on my list as well.
I've soon reached the east coast in Picton and Blenheim.
After a couple of days, I've then travelled back to Christchurch via Kaikoura.
I've spent a couple of days in Christchurch and it's surroundings.
I've visited many geological sites and have found many caches along the way.
I've travelled 3500km and have experienced so much.
Thank you to all the owners

Thankfully this was a straightforward find after a dnf up the road. Thanks for the cache Granville86a
I had a look for this less than a week after it had been published without any luck. After driving away I thought about it and kicked myself for not looking properly in a certain way. Today it was a very quick find.
A fairly quick find of another sneaky hide, although not where we initially looked. TFTC
A nice sunny day to go round and get some caches for challenge, jasper and D/T grid. Container and Log in good condition.

Been aiming to take this slightly longer way home for a while, but never manage it.
Hubby had a physio appointment for a spasming leg, thought it best he didn't drive to that, so while he is there I have a few things to do. #1 being this cache!
Another one off my 5 closest to home list on another scorching day.
Thanks for the smilie.

Woke up in beautiful Wanaka on day two of my long, long weekend. Looks like it will be another beautiful day, which is such a change from the Manawatu - so nice to have the chance to dry out and not come home from a day's caching with soaking wet shoes and socks. And its nice to come across nice dry logs all day too - and not a brace or power pole hide all day - another miracle! The plan for today is to head towards Winton, gathering caches on the way of course! There's a challenge cache near home that I want to achieve on this trip, so I'm hoping to collect a lot of caches on different minutes.
Heading through Cromwell to head back into Queenstown and down to Clifden, Tuatapere before heading back up to Winton for the evening. I haven't been through this way before, even in pre-caching life. Loving the scenery.
Quick find here and the last of the day. I need to get some dinner and on to my accommodation. Its out on a farm so I'm hoping it will be a great spot for tonight's meteor shower. TFTC

Greetings from Australia, we managed to stop for this one as we continued our tour around NZ, log retrieved, signed and replaced as found, thanks for the cache and the fun
Headed to Winton and surroundings today. First of the day, just a quick stop. Lots of traffic indeed. TFTC.
#4100. Day 2 of the southern adventure. Have flown south to attend a conference at Te Anau over Queens Birthday weekend and we stopped for the night in Invercargill. Plan is to do some caching on the days before and after the conference. Enjoyed taking in the ocean scenery from Bluff Hill. Now heading north to Te Anau. Parked the car in the nearby property and walked across to the fence line. My muggle assistant soon spied the cache. Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for hiding it here granville86a.
Found with Searchwisely on beaut afternoon. Had time to kill as sister was spending time with her bestie. Was in the first place i looked, but 5 minute later.
Dropped visiting sister-in-law off at friends nearby and found we had some time to kill. After a bit of poking around we snagged this one. Nice work.
Out with the CO, so had to stop and check this cache out, nice wee placement. Great to see some new caches out in this area, Thanks Granville86a for a great day and for the placement
This one took a little looking. Was in the first (and last) place I looked Should have looked higher last time !! Cheers. Last for the day
Day two of our Easter holiday to Invercargill. Cromwell to Invercargill.
Thanks to all of the CO's for the hides. Cheers.
