A nice, quick find after a day of geocaching in Swan Hill. Cache in great condition.
Our final full day in Swan Hill before heading further afield. We decided to head out of town and explore a few area we have not ventured to yet. We say quite barren appearing country on the NSW side apart from the turf farm which was oddly green amongst the rest. On the Victorian side there was lots of farmland, mainly growing crops but not much happening at this time of year. We did have to make way for a large tractor with attached discs and trailer however.A lovely day for caching, Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Hercs&pinky.**SKI Pair****
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. This is our first visit to Swan Hill and there is sooo much to see and sooo many caches nearby, leaving us spoilt for choice. With a good sleep overnight, and it not being quite so hot today, we set off with a target list. Only a few DNF today so the temperature and the rest must have done the job. TFTC Hercs&pinky [^]
The container has morphed from an everyday eclipse tin to something a little bit more novel!TFTC a lovely find.Oh Dont forget the BUSHMAN.We were also stopped by the farmer who told us not to go too much further down the road as the water is over the road and at least 1.5m deep!!!From GZ who would ever know Mosquitoes everywhere !!!
Easter out caching on Easter checking out the drag strip. Watch the Easter bunny holes
No drag racing happening today. Quick find and return on this quiet warm day. TFTC
We were in Swan Hill to assist with the fireworks for the show tonight and as we had off loaded everything at the storage facility we had a free day to do what we wanted before starting to set up so obviously caching it was.
We were quite happy that the road wasn't too wet today being in the 2WD and pulled up near gz and were both interested in what was across the road. It would be a great spot to watch the proceedings if they were actually going on. But today nothing was happening so we were able to concentrate on the cache which happily was a nice easy find and our name has now been added to the log.
Many thanks again Hercs&pinky for the cache and for showing us this location.

HOORAY! My 2000th find! Interesting spot too with some added local creatures that obviously live nearby! Tftc & the memory!

Making the most of Holidays and being able to travel. I decided on a 4 day trip that seen me head up to Swan Hill then down via Lake Boga, Kerang, Koondrook, Cohuna, Leitchville, Mt Terrick Terrick NP, Corop, Colbinabbim Rushworth, Whroo and finally Nagambie (then back home to St.Arnaud). Lots of back tracks taken and lots of dust to clean out of the ute. It was over 1250km travelled and flying solo on this trip I had lots of fun finding the caches.
I took a couple more wedges out of my 360Deg “finds from home” map and ticked off a couple of caches that I have heard about that were on my “to find” list.
There was a huge Variety of caches found from bird boxes to Fridges, Wall mountable tool boxes to Eclipse tins, with the odd ammo can thrown in. A couple of head scratching gadget caches chewed up some time but will be memorable for time to come. Numerous puzzles that I had solved i managed to find and I even managed to make good on a couple of DNFs, and add some more DNFs to my list. Even though I was out on my own I still had to use a couple of PAFs to get by. Thanks guys.
Cool little guardians on this cache.

Found on a quick cache outing, nice to see the boundary trees we planted a few years back still alive. Was suprised when what we spotted was the cache (thought it was a decoy) as it didn’t fit the description. TFTC
Hi there Hercs&pinky.
We found your cache **"End of a Drag"** today.
Wow what a great day out!! We traveled along a lot of dirt roads, and found a fantastic variety of caches. At the end of our run we have found 16 and by good management we didn't add to our DNF count.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends. We awarded this cache a favourite point for the novelty hide.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache exactly where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge
Thank you Hercs&pinky for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Great weather to be out and about to the west of Swan Hill, following a cache course set by our fellow Geelong cachers Suscoe. Too dry for slippery roads but not quite dry enough for dust!
We're sure it would not be as peaceful around here during drag events.
Thanks 'Hercs&pinky' for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Suscoe was enjoying a day out around the Swan Hill area in the very good company of Phetlern.
It was a delightful spring day with clear skies and bright sunshine.
A perfect day for caching.
The country side looked pretty good but it appears dry and the roads we quite solid to drive on.
Thanks to Hercs&pinky for this hide, that is one impressive straight line.

Arrived into Swan Hill this morning staying on the riverside.
After lunch it was time to head out to locate a few of the caches
The cache locations were varied & a variety of containers found.
Spotted the cute animals peeking out of its hide but did not see the container, so have replaced & notified the owner.
FP for the animals

Weird ??!!
At least the cache was a nice easy find

Yahoo. You little beauty. A FTF for us today. After being down Riverside Park today. Saw this one pop up so quickly shot out to see if we could find it....and we did. Nice quick easy find in the bush. TFTC. SL. Left a card and some swaps. Not quite the three little pigs guarding this one. Thanks for putting a cache back out this way, you get the best view of the drag strip from here. Hope your co-ords were spot on for this one or you wont have many inter-staters find it. Cheers.
