Found today with LukeSistema as we explore the region. We have to skip past many and just grab a few! Thanks for the fun and adventure
We decided to pop interstate for a couple of caches this afternoon. Quick find Tftc
Found on a trip from Adelaide to NSW and back with Freddo.
Our main target was ‘Frying Pan’ in the Chichester State Forest, near Barrington Tops north of Newcastle.
We allowed ourselves a week to travel there and back, taking a circuitous route through Victoria and NSW, camping each night and finding a range of caches of interest along the way.
Rains over the past few months meant a few detours along the way and plenty of water about, restricting access to some caches and camping areas. Many of the roads were quite chopped up with potholes and the mosquitoes were plentiful! But we had a good run with the weather, with just the odd shower, but mostly fine, warm and overcast.
Thanks Lisa.kenny13 for the cache.

Away from the floods. A quick cache find.
We headed into the flooded eastern states for a week of geocaching fun. The mission was Frying Pan. The only December 2000 placed cache remaining in Australia. All other choices for this month are international. Traveling in style and comfort we selected the next cache on merit and forward movement. Some back tracking was required in the wettest areas. Wildlife seen included a lyre bird, king parrot and a single leech. Mozzies were a pest. Caches were found and signed. Wet logs were wet. Water does that. Numerous TOTTs were employed.
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. However the condition of the cache is such that it would benefit from some TLC. Thanks Lisakenny13 for the cache.
Arriving a GZ we both thought there were two trees, but after seeing the Big Mallee Root at Ouyen a day or two later, I’m thinking it might really be two! Unfortunately the container in very bad condition. The lid was cracked and broken and we didn’t have a replacement to leave, sorry. Thanks for giving us a good reason to stop along this road so you see and hear more.
In all are travels we would not have even thought to traveled to this location.
(Ha Ha). In your dreams, these cachers do.

While staying at the RV camp here, we went out this morning to do some caching with ilook4geo. It was a fun day and we found some interesting containers. All logs had two more names noted in the next space before the container was put back into place. The container here was found out on the ground and has a broken lid. It needs some care from the CO as it is definitely not waterproof..
Thanks go to Lisa.kenny13 for this cache placement.

Staying at the RV camp nearby and picking up some caches with goingplaces2 around the Nyah district. Found all caches we looked for and signed the logs. TFTC. This one is broken.
Suscoe was out today enjoying another gloriously sunny Swan Hill day.
It had been near to zero overnight but today made up for that with beautiful sunshine, no wind to worry us and blue skies from one horizon to the other.
We headed to the north of Swan Hill today taking in Nyah and Tooleybuc and many places in between.
Thanks to Lisa.kenny for this hide, we are enjoying this drive today.

Woomelang to Nyah staying at the trotting club.
After lunch we did a circuit travelling into NSW & home again via Victoria.
Found quite a number of unloved caches today.

TFTC. We are camped at Tooleybuc Sports Club for a few nights. Today after a night of Thunder and rain, we used geocaching to do a bit of exploring around the area. Great day 25 finds and 2 DNFs. The overcast weather and the GPS on the iPhone made life a bit difficult as it took a lot longer to settle than usual. We got there in the end.
Heading back to Tooleybuc via the “back road” caching as we go.

Mr 4Moule was very happy to find this one after Mrs 4Moule gave up. Clever. Thanks Lisa.kenny13

I had a few extra days off work so BettyBoo3747 and I decided to nip across to Swan Hill for a few caches. Been quite a while since we have been here and there are lots of new caches to do.
Did a few caches around Swan Hill, then travelled a bit north and across the border.
This cache was spotted as we drove up, We hid it a bit better when we left.
Nice tree though.
Thanks, Robmc.

#14750. Day 4, and our last day caching in the area before heading home tomorrow. Another hard day chasing treasure, not always successfully and usually slowly. Pleased to actually get 30 smilies with the usual run of DNF's - 5 today. Once more following in the footsteps of a very happy cacher who has been through the district but who doesn't sign any logs. A strange affair.
I could see this one as we drove up and I pointed it out to Rob. Over the road he went and looked at the BOT but did have it in hand by the time I got there. We added our names and then returned it to its place and put some camouflage in place.
Thanks Lisa.kenny13

On the push bike today,
and somewhere along the roads out back of Nyah,
I stopped by this tree.
Not much action at the silos today.
I guess it isn't harvest season
An easy cache find [^]

Our final day around the Western Riverina & Mallee with interesting history and country towns. Looking at the number of green boxes and blue question marks still showing up on our geo-map, we will be back, hopefully, sooner rather than later.
Like the trucks waiting for grain, this one was out waiting for us today.
Thanks 'Lisa.kenny13' for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

15,173. Found during a long weekend run down through the Lockhart, Jerilderie, Deniliquin, Moulamien, Tooleybuc and Nyah regions with Albida33.
After camping down by the river near the cache Chah Singh last night, we packed up and continued along our planned caching trail. This was the next find for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, returned the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all the COs for putting out their caches !

Adelaide Trip September 2017. Day 11. The last day of my trip took me from the Murray River to Canberra via Toolybuc, Hay and Wagga. The day started well with a few fun bush hides, then I started getting DNF after DNF. I had to give up and head onwards.
Thanks.
