Just starting my geocache journey and loved this easy one! Thanks!

Parked on a nearby street and as I was walking to the cache, there was a kid looking like he was about to go down a rather steep drive sitting on a skateboard. Then, his mother (I presume) said No Toby - stop!. I wonder if its the Toby from this cache. Cache was a quick find, with no-one around. Thanks supernanny#1205

On the way back into town we decided to stretch our legs for a bit longer than a park and grab walk. The hiding spot was easily spotted although a muggle would not realise something was hiding there.

Sunday saw the start of the Solstice souvenir, which would require me to find 21 caches this coming week. Normally that wouldn't be much of an issue, but what with the current series of Wheel of Challenges, and being in the southern hemisphere with it's shortest days, I was keen to keep my numbers going by finding a few caches today.

I was in Wellington itself this evening, scouting out a couple of potential locations for new caches to get published this coming Saturday. That exercise brought me here, and gave me a chance to try to avenge a DNF from over 2 years ago.

I'm glad to say that the find was a quick one here, made by torchlight. No issues to report with this cache so once I'd signed the log I replaced it as found. Nice to take another blue frown off my map Thanks for placing this here.

Out finding some solved Mystery caches today.
In the area so I grabbed this Trad while here. I’ve driven past many times but never felt the need to find a park. The attraction of a nearby solved Mystery got me over the line. A quick find and sign. TFTC

I tried to find this some time ago. No idea how far back, I didn't log a DNF. Why didn't I log a DNF? who knows. Anyway, I recall seeing something about this cache being replaced (or was it another?). Today I am heading into Wellington to visit my sister and her family and thought that is a good time for another stab at this cache.
Very easy find this time.So easy that I have to believe it wasn't here when I last looked.
Always nice to turn a frowny into a smiley (even if I forgot to frownify this cache!). Picked up a trackable to move on.

Last cache of the morning as Ezratar was getting tired. Longest part of this find was finding parking this morning. Lovely short walk to the cache and found after a brief search. Left a TB that I've had for ages. Thanks for the cache.

I couldn't find this cache a few weeks ago but it now appears it was most likely missing then. Knowing that a replacement had been sorted, I headed here again to find the treasure in the place I had originally thought it probably belonged.

Just heard that Freddie and Toby and family finally managed to replace this cache today with my new container ...they will be off to Cricket Camp soon!

Have sent a new container down to Welly for Freddie and Toby and their parent to replace...

Starting 2021 off with a DNF is not ideal, but so be it.
I found a couple of very likely looking spots, but no cache.

Freddie and Toby on holiday with me in Auckland currently....then to Central Otago....
But I will send a replacement Cache Container back with them when they leave.

Not one of my most successful day's caching. Muggle activity was practically nil while I was here and I managed to check every possible spot three times. I did see a rock that would have provided perfect cover. It wouldn't be the first time I have overlooked something obvious but I think it is more likely the cache has gone.

Took the Brooklyn Brownies out for an introduction to caching tonight. Glad to collect a smiley for me too

I hadn't planned to come to Brooklyn today but here I am. Not sure why I didn't try this cache last time I was in Brooklyn because it seems like it would be sufficiently off the street to keep stealth requirements to a minimum. I thought I was going have to trouble finding the path but when you're on foot things are always easier. I spotted something suspicious on arrival and was soon signing to log. I was concious of getting muggled at any moment because of the "nowhere to hide" nature of the location but everything was restored before I saw anybody. TFTC.

First cache of the day our exploring our local suburb by bike on a beautiful sunny Waitangi Day. Easy find with @peadub. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.

Not able to do another tricky cache in the area because of muggles presence, I decided to head down this quiet path. It made for a quick and nice easy find once I found a carpark nearby. TFTC.
