On the way from Cowes to Rhyll, we wanted to attempt at least a few of the big bunch of caches here and managed 7 of them in the time that we had. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Another short hop from the road had me at gz and a quick find was made. This is a lovely spot, i wish i could do the whole series. Every now and then i find it very therapeutic to skive off from what i really should be doing to enjoy some time in nature, walking, exploring, adventuring, or just being. These days, of course, that also includes geocaching. I was feeling a bit inundated and decided to head for the coast for a sea change, at least for a few days. Phillip Island has long been a favourite so i hit the road and after a busy drive through the city i finally arrive on the island and immediately felt myself beginning to relax. When i was young i enjoyed quite a few family holidays down here and some of my happiest memories were created on splendid days exploring the beaches and rocky coasts. I will certainly find some geocaches while im here but i will probably spend more time just walking and sight seeing i think. Treasure Island - Rhyll Inlet #13 is find number 3,692 for me. A fun micro sized traditional cache I enjoyed finding as one of my caching adventures in Bass Coast Shire. I am logging this one on Tuesday 23 July 2024 at 6:46 pm and the weather is Overcast Clouds 14C 62% 10 m/s . Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy Gonefishen07.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Out and about on trusty treadles AKA my MTB exploring the trail and the different landscape to my homebase. The planets aligned and a spontaneous decision to head down to the Island for some sea breeze, ozone and coastal vistas on a free day AND of course caching (or casheering as dear mum would say) transpired. This great hobby is such an invitation to explore aspects of any location and the ISLAND has plenty of that. Quick find at GZ with a good hint. TFTc and the FUN.
Tried out my new Hover Air x1 automated drone.Parked and walked to cache with the drone following me.TNLNSL TFTC Jeffjulie
Found at 15:43This should have been a super quick find but I missed the cache on my first look. After looking in a few other spots I came back and spotted the container. Thanks Gonefishen07 for the cache
Day two on Phillip Island with BettyBoo3747 and the geodoggies. We got the deadly treadlies out and rode the caches around Cowes, also filling in a few AdLabs.Back to the entrance to the park and heading East. This was the first one. Thanks, Robmc.
21422. Day 2 of our little Phillip Island Adventure. Looked like being the best day of the week so we loaded the doggies into their trailer, jumped on the bikes and headed out for some caching between Cowes and Rhyll and then more around town in the afternoon. Great to get a ride in although it was very very windy. The first of three along this section before we crossed the road. Thanks Gonefishen07
Another nice quick one in a beautiful spot. Thanks for bringing us here for a stroll.
Today we headed to the Phillip Island for a wedding and some cache. What a beautiful place to visit. A great day for a walk. Thanks Gonefishen07
Parked in a nice convenient spot but could have found an easier trail to the walking trail. Nevertheless the cache was soon in hand. Thanks Gonefishen07 for placing the cache.
Quick easy find with my wonderful long suffering muggle husband while holidaying on Phillip Island. TFTC TNLNSL
Nice weather for me to decide riding my ebike along the track to find Treasure Island-Rhyll inlet caches. Found most of it without DNF. Had a great day. Thanks Gonefishen07 for placing this cache
On a mission to do this trail. Cache on need of maintenance, just a nail sticking out of the top. Otherwise in good condition
I was put off by a spider in it's web but Mr S went around it and claimed the find. TFTC
Spotted this one very quickly, but had to wait for a pair of muggles with a camera to head very slowly past.

The GPS led us a few meters past GZ on this one, however after it settled, cache was found. Tftc
Found at 12:02 PM GAFF1 in the company of maccamob.
We didn't have our bikes with us and there is just a small group of these TI caches from here to Rhyill that we haven't done, so there was nothing else to do but get out and walk [xx(]
Thanks Gonefishen07.

Found by Mary and David at 12:05. Spotted this one on approach. Suspect there is some camo missing. Our thanks to Gonefishen07.
Quick easy find. It is worthy to note that there was a dead huntsmen spider attached to the cache. Gave us quite a spook. So just be careful when picking up the caches. RIP huntsey
A nice quick find as we came here to find the night cache. Opted out of the night cache as it is too far for us just now.
Staying in Phillip island for a few days and noticed this trail, so while Mr geco had a nap I headed out to explore. I enjoyed the trail and the search for the clever hides. Shame to see some of the camo's had become unstuck but enjoyed the hunt. Sorry for the mass log but they merged into one when I logged them after the walk. TFTC
Out with Tiz13 & Kashbound for a day of exploring caches on the island with some specific ones in mind. Loving this trail and the amazing environment that has been preserved. So grateful for a gorgeous day after all this awful weather.

On a hike from Rhyll to Cowes around the inlet.
Last grab before reaching the Oswin Roberts Conservation Reserve. Quickly spotted peeking out of its hidey hole.
Thanks, Gonefishen07.

Spiffy- and I decided to take advantage of this rare public holiday and went to the Island. Luckily we headed off early as on the way back the traffic getting on to the island went for about 10km.
We had our scooters in the car which helped with this series. Quick find here.
Thanks to Gonefishen07 for the fun and the adventure.

Today we headed off early to Phillip Island and glad we did because the traffic was at a standstill coming onto the island when we left. For a public holiday the weather was surprisingly good. After finding the main cache we needed today we deployed the scooters at the car park here and rode each direction along this awesome trail. Geez they went to a lot of trouble building all these boardwalks. A great range of caches were found along here today.
Nice quick find here in the first place we looked.
Thanks Gonefishen07 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Found. Now off to meet @surefoot24 for dinner. Cache is nice & dry in a wet spot.
Having another day on Phillip Island and concentrating in the NE area. I began this lovely trail early and walked it in sections, backtracking to move my geovehicle to a more convenient spot Another neatly hidden cache. Thanks Gonefishen07
Found it eventually once I looked at the right tree! I got freaked out after disturbing a possum in its nest!
After doing the SEATO I just thought I’d take an extra walk and clear out a couple more in the area. I think this one has lost its top but the snails are loving it. Nice easy find, thanks for bringing me here and for the cache GoneFishen07
Missed this on the way to Rhyll but found it on the way back. I even looked in that spot the first time but didn't see the cache.
On a road trip to Phillip Island for a couple of weeks, picking up random caches as we travel around seeing the sites. Today we decided to walk from the carpark on the Cowes-Rhyll Road to Conservation Hill, 3.6kms return, picking up caches along the way. After waiting for a group of 11 muggle walkers to pass we began our search. Mrs Pooky just happened to look in the right direction and spotted a likely hiding spot and further investigation revealed the cache. TFTC and bring us to this great walking track.
I was lucky to spot this one but just looked in the right direction and there it was. Great hiding place.
Another day-another caching run!
Since the COVID restrictions have eased in regional Victoria we have been trying to do a weekly run with caching mate Rebel Acts. This is our fourth outing, and unfortunately the drizzle looks set to make things a bit miserable. Our first 3 days were beautiful, mild and with a light breeze. We are living in hope that the skies clear and make it more comfortable, but this IS Victoria.
As in the past we will sign many of the caches RASP.
Found more thanks to the hint rather than the GPS. The log was clean and dry, but the container was mucky. Glad we carry wet ones with us!

With restrictions lifted in regional Vic I once again teamed up with SKI Pair armed with My mask and Sanitizer, Today we headed over the hills to Phillip Island where we had a great day exploring the Island, the weather was four seasons in one day, but that did not stop us. There were quite a few challenging and novel hides in the area. this is one of the caches we found today. gps had us in circles so the hint was used.
Logs signed as RASP
Thanks Gonefishen07 for the cache.

Gorgeous last day of the year at Phillip Island. I took the opportunity for some caching along this path in the late afternoon, after driving down from Melbourne to stay with family for a day or two. It wasn’t too busy, unlike the rest of the island on NYE!
Made short work of this one - cute little spot. I think it may have lost its camo? (but it doesn’t matter). TFTC

Having arrived on the island yesterday evening we took a look at the map and decided to hike the Treasure Island - Rhyll geo-trails. We had a thoroughly enjoyable walk, did some good bird watching along the way, and of course had great fun finding lots of geocaches, many of them well camouflaged and cleverly hidden - and so many thanks to the CO for having provided us with the opportunity for another great day out geocaching. This one was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Beautiful morning stroll along the trail, cache in great condition, stamped log thanks Borisb&Natasha and Gonefishen for the caches along this trail.

*Smiley # 10027.*
*Cache find # 9982 + 45 Lab Caches.*
After spending a bit of time on Churchill Island at an event and finding a few caches, we then returned to the larger Island and then went on a quest to find some treasure.
I had been along this trail 13 months earlier but failed to find this one so today I had to return to try and convert a sad face into a smile.
Today was certainly a different story as we were able to see the cache a couple of metres away as we were arriving, the log was signed and we continued on our way.

Down for a weekend with a few mates and thought we'd go for a bike ride (and cache) to pass the day. Logged as RACK (Melro9, myslef, Colinw178 and Kremmen). Quick find here. TFTC
We returned to this familiar location and turned our unfounded icon into a smiley. The cache was exactly were we thought it would be.
Thanks for the cache.

On a caching road trip with gwd.aussie in a effort to complete the Mystery of the Museum Promotion. Thankfully a better day than yesterday enabling us to get the bikes out to undertake the series.

This one took far too long to find. Like others we spent the time on the wrong side of the track. After about 15 mins, I decided on another approach and soon it was discovered. Log signed and back safe again.
