Had a big look around with the grandkids but no luck. Construction going on in the area. Lots of overgrown grass, rubbish lying around. And the mozzies were terrible. Probably not a good one for kids.
The area was very dirty and overgrown. DNF. Too many mozzies as well. Probably won't come back. There was so much rubbish everywhere.
First find ever on geocaching very fun to do when your bored and have nothing else to do
Found in the open. Replace in the trees recover with bark. Cache a day to keep the doctor away TFTC
Good cache! Found just where expected by GPS and the hint, quick easy find. Not far off the path. TFTC
On way home after lunch at Sports Club ....Caching with Juju54 who arrived from Perth last night ...it’s nice to be caching as a team again TFTC
I parked the car at CREEC and set of on Evie to see what I could find. A total of 46km with 28 finds, 3 DNF and a few DNLs.
It was very busy near GZ and I was worried that access would be denied. The pathway from the north is closed off, but GZ was just outside the fence line.
Still some camo on the box, and it is hiding well.
I found the detour around the construction site on my way back out.

Our second attempt at this one. The first time there was some big event being held and we had no inkling of how to get to GZ due to construction so we gave up. This time we followed the path around the building until we came to GZ slightly off path. The cache was found well hidden..
Q1? Really? Well, you made me laugh, so good job . The cache was quite exposed when I arrived, so an easy find. I signed the log and settled the cache a bit lower before covering it with leaf litter. Hopefully it stays hidden.
Out on a solo mission today to create a few more smileys.
The nearby construction has only just missed this one! Found without a hassle.
Thanks for the cache TeamLangy

Today I had been blessed with an impromptu day off work, which of course meant I could spend it caching! And as I have a couple of goals I'm approaching, there would be no other option.
This was the next cache on today's target list. As I rounded the track and made my way closer I was a little concerned the cache would be the other side of the fence closure. But soon realised I had nothing to be worried about.
Thanks for the cache TeamLangy.

It was decided reasonably early today that we would drag our weary tortured bodies out into the sunshine & fresh air to ease the frustration the VCs were experiencing from being virtually under home detention for the past 7 weeks (with considerably more to follow) as a result of injuries & ailments recently received/diagnosed! LOL ...
A nice stroll along the path soon brought me to the construction fencing & NO, itdoesn't affect the cache at all.
A quick find where all is in good order.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Arriving at car park to find construction happening I was concerned this one might be out of play
Luckily the construction fences did not limit access

It's been a slow week, so hoorah for our first find of the week! This one was spotted from the walkway, so we've added more camouflage to help disguise it better from muggle eyes. Took the weird looking sloth and left a Woolworths 3D Card in this great condition cache. Thank you TeamLangy
Admired a blue tongue lizard about 5m from GZ before swooping in an making the find. Thanks TL!
This one took a little bit of bush basking mainly due to the tree cover bouncing the GPS all over the place. TFTC.
Rain still holding off, and the Spotlight store not quite open yet, so time to grab one more cache this morning.
In and found it, it is in good condition, though the pen does not work any longer.
Signed with my own pen, dropped off some TB's, and returned to safe spot.
Many thanks for the cache!

Wow. This took a little bit to find but we did! Awesome, thank you. Pen has ran out but we left a little treasure
Found it about 15m away from where gps first wanted me. Positioning was a bit dodgy with the tree cover. Tftc.
Love the Camo design awesome cache the coordinates were off but we managed the find anyways
Great to be out caching and this was one we targetted and found. Thanks to TeamLangy for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
ventured along the path and soon found GZ. The recent rain had made cache easy to see - so covered with a bit more of same material. Had a wander further along the path as I didnt know these existed. TFTC
Tyfc. Got to it as heavy rain approached. The best camouflage I have seen so far. Just enough to see what it is.
We were a bit worried about the placement of this cache as there were lots of signs that this is a place some locals go to do illegal things, judging by all the rubbish lying around. Fortunately the camo on this cache is so good that only the right people find it. Great job with the camouflage TeamLangy. TNLNSL TFTC
Having a nice tour around Morayfield and Caboolture gathering those elusive green boxes and turning them into smilies.
Had not been in this area for a cache before and after a short walk the cache was in hand.
Signed the log and returned the cache to where we found it.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks TeamLangly All good with this cache

So it seems that sometimes the shortest distance between two points is NOT a straight line! With the COTE in the super centre, I went for the direct approach. Walking through bush in sneakers and shorts I do prefer to see where I am putting my feet! Never mind, made the find and love the camo. TFTC TeamLangy. Left my calling card.
We had the happy thought back at home of no school tomorrow, so no last minute organising of getting ready for the week this meant we could head out together and find a few Sunday afternoon caches.
We remembered coming to this area every week when muggle son was playing futsal here, today we were here for a different reason, chasing the plastic of course. We parked the geo-beast and headed into where we needed to be. It didn’t take long to find what we were after. We had seen a home made sign up at the previous cache we had been at and thought someone here needs to make one for this area.
We found far mare metal then plastic here. Before we headed on to the next find for the afternoon, we thought we would just wait patiently in line for our groceries…

Took the geokids out for an afternoon walk and thought this one would be perfect. GPS was jumping around a bit but finally managed to find a very well camouflaged cache Thanks
Thursday is Basketball game night go Magic U12s! Arrived early enough to find this cache just before the mozzies came out and sun went down...nice camo TFTC
Couldn't find it first time. It was too dark. Came back in the day. Found it. Great camp. Good find.
Found couple of minutes to go caching ... Minding 3 grandkids (one from overseas here for the first time) and looking after my Mum from Hamburg. Spent all day on Bribie ... saw all those caches on the map but no time.
Now after dropping off 3 kids @ parents and Mum @ my brother's home, stopped here for a smilie and dropped off a big TB.

My daughter has an upcoming driving test and being that I had to pick up another kid in Caboolture, I said let's go. We practiced some parking tricks before heading this way. I had half an eye on the road and half an eye on this cache. After practicing a reverse park I said there is a cache near here. She saw threw my fake interest in her driving and decided to let me at it.
We walked the 89m to GZ and I knew that she was keen to burn rubber, but there were other things at stake. It was more important that I find some plastic and write my name on some paper than her getting her license. I'm hoping that she will be my new taxi to the pub so it was 50/50.
I was so engrossed in finding the cache that I wasn't worried about someone walking through the park. My daughter pointed out that we were getting the stink-eye from the traveler, bit tough titties to them. Our name is in the log and I have to resume the learner driver pilot responsibilities. tftc

We headed down this way after having lunch in Woodford. Parked up and walked across to GZ for a quick easy find. Excellent camo, blended in very well. TFTC TeamLangy
Found on a day out clearing the map with Selva Girls. We spotted the nice camo and returned as found after adding our names to the log. Tftc TeamLangy
All intact. Log dry. Signed & replaced carefully..please note that there has been some rain.
This cache is new since I was last in the area with time to spare. Today, stortigirls and I decided to stop and find it. We parked the car and made our way to GZ. There, the cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Found with Mum as 'Jess & Caro'. She is now Carø and I now have my own geocaching profile so we are sorting my logs for caches we found together. TFTC!
The path I intended to take turned out to be non existent (thanks Google Maps!) so a quick change of plans and I soon had the cache in hand. TFTC
Making our way down to Brisbane for a couple of days with IolantheK and to attend an event. We stopped by to find this cache. Thanks for the hide. Neat camo. Thanks for the cache.
With a pirate-themed event happening at Caboolture today for the souvenir on offer, I decided to spend a couple of hours beforehand tidying up our remaining unfound caches between Morayfield and the Glasshouse area.
This newish one was first on the list, and despite being neatly camouflaged was found easily.
Thanks TeamLangy for bringing us here, this find makes 3840. Discover our trackable TGQNRV.

Jess & Caro are visiting for the weekend and this afternoon we are heading up to an event in Caboolture. Along the way we stopped to gather a few caches that have turned up since I was last in the area.
An easy walk to GZ, and after a bit of circle work, we made the find. Nice work on the camo. TFTC, TeamLangy.

TFTC FTF 3019# YES thank you only got home this arvo out and about with miss millie geo dog for a evening walk
ooh oooh aw any other Wednesday night and we'd already be near GZ at basketball training - I doubt I would beat other local cachers to this one...
FTF with a Rhobocacher. Had just got home when the phone went ping!
Nice quick find in the dark and a blank log book! Yay!
Nice quick find in the dark and a blank log book! Yay!
Mrs Wombles gave me the heads up and I was out of my home in a flash while calling out to hubby *FTF* (he knows what that means) on the way my human navigator (Mrs Wombles) was telling me where could be the likely park. Why is it when racing to a ftf you hit all the red traffic lights or maybe just a couple which makes every single minute feel like 10 lol. Anyway we got there no one in sight phew thank goodness the flashlights were out and I found the very well disguised lil bit of goodness in minutes. It made me doubt myself and think twice so pat on the back with the camo. Yes its very fragile so please be careful if going to find. Well done on your 1st hide I look forward to seeing many more of your caches in the future. Coords were pretty good considering all the tree cover around. So once I found it I carefully opened and searched the book as we didnt want to congratulate too soon. I flipped from front cover to back and no writing at all. You lil beauty a clean logbook!!!!!! Woo Hoo we made the *ftf* and high fives all round. Thanks for an awesome cache and the lil night adventure
