Out and about with omegaman, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Thanks Robmc for the cache.
Support Your Local VillainLive - Laugh - LurkFirst To Find: 196Sidetracked Cache Finds: 144Out and about with Rebel Acts on this sunny Saturday. It's always great to be out putting smiles on the map...Cheers for the cache and the opportunity to get out and have some fun.
Quick find is a good find. A nice stroll is a good stroll.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. A nice walk along the creek today finding the caches as we went, all the caches found are in good condition hereTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
Rocks looked a bit unstable for us inexperienced explorers. Will try again another day. Tips welcomed.
Quick and easy find on a mission today with droppdpie, tftc signed and replaced
Thanks for the cache RobMc another great spot found on my travels with birdyk. Signed and replaced.
On a cold wet and miserable morning Sims_family and Dromaniax headed up the Highway with a list of caches on our hit list to work on some LGA based challenge caches. With all our targets being in the Melbourne Suburbs we decided to take the Domaniax Geomobile instead of the Ginja Ninja of the Geo Vehicle of the Sims_family as the 4x4 wouldn't be needed.Even though we were in drizzling rain and some cold biting wind it didn't dampen our spirits as we work our names into the log books.Thank you Robmc for the smiley
We were chatting with Sims_family and discussing our progress on several challenge caches and how we would best approach them by working together to qualify for as many as possible as soon as possible. With this in mind and having a few weeks off work, we worked out a list of caches to cover as many Metro LGAs as possible over the next few weeks. After dropping Mrs Dormaniax off at the ferry in Portarlington, it was straight to Casa Sims, where we picked up Mr Sims_family and headed into Melbourne to find some caches. The day started drizzly, and we became damp when finding our first half-dozen caches. All caches we found were in excellent condition unless otherwise noted.Thank you, Robmc, for this Traditional cache.
The cache itself was alright, but the location was stunning. So cool, I had to leave a favourite point. Took a while to just sit here and think, rest a bit. Lovely.TFTC
I was all set to talk about the adventure in turning my DNF back in 12.2017 into a smiley particularly as I let my preconceptions turn this into a T3 rather than step back and think about what I knew about the hiding style and objective of this CO but after what I had to view at the end of my walk, well, meh. This'll do.
We packed the ebikes and headed to the big smoke for a couple of days. Fortified by lunch and joined by Mr Morris we headed off on the next part of the trail. Thanks for taking us on a tour of the backblocks of Altona, Brooklyn and wherever else we were.
Spent the morning with Chewinprickes on our deadly treadlies completing a maintenance run on the FT and KCT trails. All caches are now in good condition and ready to be found.Robmc.
Seeing new sights from here on. Heading north now on a path that no doubt existed 15 years back, but I'd not been along here. Thanks Robmc
Caching buddy: Me, myself and I I just realised that I have reached my 6000 cache finds milestone! Surprise surprise!I choose this cache as the milestone cache, hence why I'm logging this before I log the rest! The sun was starting to slide down to the horizon, and this was the last cache for the day... I was rushing to get to my car before it was dark...I rode down the hill at top speed...and then uphill, at snail's pace ... And then down the hill at top speed ... And then up the hill at snail's pace... When I reached the hilltop, the compass said, ....5m away!Parked the bike.. and started looking..(without reading the description)When I read it, I looked up and saw the 'Mountain' that the CO was referring to! The setting sun had the mountain glowing orange, while I was standing in the shade admiring it! I could hear the Kororoit Creek and chirping birds.. just beautiful! This made my solo Geocaching experience worth it!I followed the COs instructions, and slid down to the Geocache... Stamped the logbook and sat there on the rock, for a moment, to be grateful to myself for making the effort to do solo caching.Thank you Robmc, for creating, placing and maintaining this cache. I have enjoyed finding it and visiting this spot. FP awardedFollow my story on Instagram @AlphaDeltaIndigo
the water is so brown, but im curious as to whats going on on the other side of the creek. TFTC
The weather looked like it was going to be nice to us today so it was decided to head to the other side of town. We encountered a couple of snakes but they weren't interested in us and slithered off home. Most finds were made although we did have to leave a couple and search for them on the way back and a couple of others seem to be missing. We got a little bamboozled with the tracks but it was a lovely day to be out and about. Thanks for placing all these caches for us to find.
It was a lovely day for a scooter ride with Geo-turtle. I encountered tiger snakes on the path twice in different locations, and I had to swerve my scooter to avoid them quickly. Thankfully, I narrowly missed them! Geo-turtle managed to take some photos and a video. I ended up with a pretty bad sunburn by the end of the day. Nice hide here! Robmc, thank you for placing this cache in this area for everyone to enjoy.
My earpod fell out of my ear and fell all the way down down down. Not getting that
After participating in a CITO in Coburg this morning, I spent the rest of the morning chasing out caches to complete the Moonee Valley LGA for the **WCW - The 80/20 Rule Challenge**. With that... and lunch... out of the way, it was now time to hunt out caches around Sunshine to complete the Brimbank LGA.I figured that finding a few more caches along the Kororoit Creek would give some quick results without any driving... and I was correct... although this one took a bit more effort than I was expecting. Thanks **Robmc** for putting this cache here.
Replaced damaged container, and put in a new logbook. Please hide the cache out of sight.Robmc.
I found this cache today on my 35,000 step walk from Sunshine to Laverton via the Kororoit Creek Trail and the Federation Trail. After keeping a close eye out for snakes, this was my first encounter for the day. Light brown in colour and I could only see about half a metre of tail but I had no interest in finding out how long it actually was. Thanks from D B-A
Out today for some walking and caching. I chose Stony Creek and Kororoit Creeks to walk some and drive some - truly a Robmc day with all caches belonging to him. An easy find, but as others have said, the lid is broken. However, the contents appeared to be all dry.
Many thanks to Robmc for the cache.

Had my mountain boots on and found this one! Cache lid has cracked open and contents are half exposed
This felt more difficult terrain than a 2, particularly given it was getting dark for me, but the GPS location was a big help: David
Didn’t manage to easily find it on my way south, but on my return I’ve spent a bit more time at GZ and spotted the cache on my climb back up. The lid is still cracked, but the log is dry.
We did two circuits through the peppercorn tree and marvelled at where it started before retreating back and circling a bit wider to find a better spot to hide. The goats on the otherside of the creek gave an encouraging bleet. This container lid has a large hole but the log was still OK to stamp. TFTC
After a busy 4 days at the F1, it was time for caching with Firesafe. A good wander and drive around this trail and some interesting finds, views and info along the way. TFTC
Spent a recovery day after a busy 4 days at the Australian Grand Prix, caching with NurseyJulie.
No particular plan but we just followed the GPS grabbing caches and labs along the way.
Thanks to all the cache owners for maintaining the caches.
Even achieved 16000 steps today.

Impressive! Out and about on trusty treadles on a monster LGA mission targeting Brimbank with a few others on the ‘border’. It’s proved to be a reminder of the pluses and minuses of urban life but very glad FRIENDS of KOROIT are active. TFTC and the incentive to visit!

A mountain of trash in middle suburban Melbourne? That's a worry. Worse, there seems to be a growing mountain of trash on *this* side of the creek. I've already emptied my trash bag once, and it's full again.
Thanks heaps, Robmc.

Just added a trackable that we found it WA. Pls make sure it travels properly…wants to remain in the wild!
Today's 'brief' stint was an 18km (we thought it would be about 10) walk which took us nearly 5 hrs, along a bike track, my bike is currently in pieces.
By this point, day1976 was finding all the caches while I sat down whenever we stopped. Therefore I cannot remember quite a few of the hides!

Found with ilukaperi on a short day stint in Melbourne's western suburbs.
This one took a little while to find today as the GPS couldn't decide exactly where to send me. After a while I put it away and explored a few options, finally nabbing it.

Out with au.fait & xambo4u, we were doing the FT trail and part of the KCT trail. We had a great day with lots of talk and laughter. We looked at the terrain, and xambo4u made the find. Thanks Robmc.
Out and about with echidna44 and au_fait for the day doing the bike trail here. We left one car at one end and one at the other. Enjoyed good company, weather excellent and mostly success was gained. This was the best view of the day. The water moving along with trees and green butting up to it. How did that mountain get there. It sounds if they are still making it. Cache in excellent condition. Thanks for our journey Robmc
Out today in the excellent company of echidna44 and xambo4u on an overcast but fine day. Just perfect for doing a length of the Federation Trail. This was along a diversionary trail which we followed for a short while We we glad that xambo4u found this one for us to sign TFTC Robmc
Another DNF avenged.
I was here in Oct '18 and didn't actually look for the cache. There was a family of goannas sunning themselves on the lower platform. Upon my return today they were at it again but hastily retreated when I looked down at them.
A super quick find at GZ.
You definitely wouldn't want to overstep the mark here, that is a nice drop off through the peppercorn tree.

Thrilling little find! Was a bit nervous that my doggo would follow me down the rocks but thankfully he didn’t. Be careful with this one, especially on a windy or wet day. TFTC!
Sadly I didn’t find this cache as I started to get nervous playing in the rocks.. sure enough looking over the edge I spotted a family of lizards! Glad they were only lizards..
