A stroll at lunchtime took me past all the muggles in parked cars,
and down to the deserted end of the road
A snoop around the trees revealed the usual piles of bottles 'n' stuff tossed in there
And in among the scenery,
a well hidden cache

Hi there Stopalot. This morning was reserved for visiting the Thursday markets in Maryborough with some caching afterwards. This cache was a quick find after parking nearby and the container and the log are dry and quite useable. SL, TN, LN. Thanks to Stopalot for this cache - our find #6751.
The original container has gone walkabout so we have replaced with a film canister..
Like others we found a lot of rubbish but given the difficulty rating and size of this geocache we would have thought we would have found that if it was there. This one might need owner intervention as it is probably missing
Searched in a few different spots as my gps kept changing. Found a lot of rubbish but not what I was looking for.
Met up with Fairy Mother in the Tinana State School car park for a day's caching in and around Maryborough and Hervey Bay. I had about 35 green boxes to find, not sure what the tally was at the end of the day.
This was the next one of them This is accessible along the river park, we were advised otherwise, and as usual came in the hard way
Found the cache on the ground, all was well

In QLD to visit Stell, for 30 year anniversary and other historic reasons. So sent a day touring the Maryborough and Harvey Bay region. Missed going troppo Cuboree by two weeks. JABs.
Hi there Stopalot.
We cached around Maryborough today before catching up with friends that are house sitting nearby. Our total today was 13 caches & we DNF'd 1. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels as we continue our nomadic wanderings around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
**Grabbed Trackable:** "Alvin the Alligator Travel Tag".
Time for this interesting Trackable to join us for part of our journey around Australia. cb8jgh
**Dropped Trackable:** " 7 Deadly Ducks Tag".
It's time for this trackable to rest a while before continuing on its next journey. ddohqb
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Enjoying holidays with our grandaughter. Following playgrounds and sometimes caches. Now on the way to the July Event in Widgee. Tftc
5 for 5 so far today. Loads of rubbish and some syringe wrappers around. Be careful if you have children or pets with you.
Thanks again for showing me this area Stopalot. Found after dancing with the tree
Logged this cache as a DNF last August, but this time approached from a more sensible direction in company with gallifreyen.
We are caching around the Maryborough district while visiting with Liz and Bruce. In fact we went out for the morning doing some caching, visited the markets in town and learned some interesting details about the history of the district as well as some info about the Mary River.
The tour was very interesting and a lot of fun.
Thanks to Stopalot for placing this cache.

A nice walk along the Mary - the crocodile sign was a bit alarming -just as well the river is quite low at the moment. Found reasonably easily once at GZ.
Cleaning up those pesky green envelops , Retrieved 2 travel bugs and will send them on wards to bigger and better places .
My wife and I were out walking before heading back to our hotel for a swim and some prawns. The park and the entire town were quiet on Boxing Day so two tourists walking down a dead end street didn't arouse any suspicion. There was no one to be suspicious of us.
Walking down the road, I could see some very long grass and thought that's just what we needed on a hot day. Luckily the phone detoured us off before we hit it. I jumped in and made a quick find before seeing a tree branch that I could swing on. It was the fastest swing of all time because I could here the branch groaning as soon as I left the ground. tftc

Went to the Queensland for 10 day's, landing on the Goldcoast, picking up a car rental. We spent the first 4 days staying in a nice hotel in Surfers paradise, doing all the Theme parks and some caching... While at the theme parks we got to pat Dolphins, feed Tigers etc. Then we headed up to Australia Zoo, where we booked a Tiger wall, Which was amazing, after the day at the zoo, we headed to Harvey bay, for 4 day's before heading back to the Goldcoast to return car, and catch flight home. Really loved the new Lego store at Dreamworld, went back 3 times.Tftc
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
We were going to spend 1 more night in Bundaberg when we were excited to learn that Liz&Bruce were home so we, headed on down for an overnight catch up to learn about their most recent USA trip.
Needless to say we found a few caches today along our journey.

Today I had a day off in Maryborough. So an excellent moment to go out and try to cache a few of these caches into smileys.
Once I arrived at GZ, It took some to locate this one. I was about to give up until something jumped in sight.
I quickly logged this one as well.

I had spent the weekend in Childers to attend my 30 year high school reunion and today we are heading to Mooloolaba for a holiday. The caches i have planned for today are to fill missing months in my AUSmer challenge and for the LGA challenge.
This one was a handy pickup as i had not yet found a cache hidden for August this year. Lovely and peaceful along the river today. Tftc

Nice quiet area this afternoon and so we soon found the cache. Left a TB and made sure the cache was well covered with natural material being careful of the vines nearby.

After 2 success in 2 just had to continue. I think we disturbed 2 people who were having a quiet secluded lunch in their car. TFTC Stopalot
After half an hour of contending with wandering GPS positions and getting hooked on wait-a-while vines I conceded this one.
Found in the company of geomum, before I had to head down to Brisbane to fly back home to Melbourne. Another quick find. TFTC
I had a plan to come to Maryborough to find the outstanding ones up here and left Nanango at 0600. Arrived close to GZ and parked the geomobile and walked to area of GZ. Arrived at the end of the road and began my search.
Very good accurate co ordinates and soon had the container in hand. Signed log YOF as that is what I use on small and micro logs to save room on the paper.
That is number four for the morning and now to move the geomobile just up the road to the next one. TFTC Stopalot.

Great to see this new cache in our locality. Good hide. Thanks to Stopalot for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
