A quick stop for fresh air on our windy drive! Nice and quick to find, with a great spot to pull off the road.
*The generic bit for today's logs*
Spent a couple of nights with friends in Glaucester- what a nice little town with a brilliant community bookshop. Heading to Bathurst tonight on this second last day of our trip 'north for warmer weather': North East Victoria to Central Queensland, via Curtis Island! We have enjoyed the great variety of caches along the way. Thank you to all the COs who maintain them for us to enjoy.

Quick well guarded find before the big descent. Thanks for the cache and it's maintenance.
Quick find as we rolled over the hills.
We headed into the flooded eastern states for a week of geocaching fun. The mission was Frying Pan. The only December 2000 placed cache remaining in Australia. All other choices for this month are international. Traveling in style and comfort we selected the next cache on merit and forward movement. Some back tracking was required in the wettest areas. Wildlife seen included a lyre bird, king parrot and a single leech. Mozzies were a pest. Caches were found and signed. Wet logs were wet. Water does that. Numerous TOTTs were employed.
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Found on a trip from Adelaide to NSW and back with Freddo.
Our main target was ‘Frying Pan’ in the Chichester State Forest, near Barrington Tops north of Newcastle.
We allowed ourselves a week to travel there and back, taking a circuitous route through Victoria and NSW, camping each night and finding a range of caches of interest along the way.
Rains over the past few months meant a few detours along the way and plenty of water about, restricting access to some caches and camping areas. Many of the roads were quite chopped up with potholes and the mosquitoes were plentiful! But we had a good run with the weather, with just the odd shower, but mostly fine, warm and overcast.
Thanks squirrels0291 for the cache.

Weekend trip to Rylstone June 2021. I joined with Fitzy_1965 & MinnieK for a drive to Rylstone and the surrounding area for a long weekend of caching with a Community Celebration event as the final goal on Saturday. We also did some caching around Oberon on the way and a day on a loop via Mudgee & Gulgong to visit some older caches. On the way home we stopped in at Newens as well. A cold but fun weekend away.
Today was the loop drive. A quick roadside stop.

#7175 Day 7 of our "Dayboro Plan B" trip. mtrax & myself, having decided to ditch the mega came up with a last minute re-route using some of the accommodation we'd already booked and find some interesting caches. To this end we were very selective and only chose caches with sufficient FPs along the route. Today we are in leaving Tamworth and heading down to Bathurst for the night. Not a lot of time for caching today. Weather is warm but good. Looking forward to Burning Mountain on the way.
A quick find.
Thanks squirrels0291

My car engine had to cool down after pulling my caravan up here so this was a great place to pause. Thanks.
Just a shame I couldn't pull up at the picnic area just below and visit the cave art. Someone had just pulled over in the middle of the entry. Another time.

On the way to Rylstone from Sandy Hollow. What a beautiful valley and a good reason to stop. TFTC

Day 6 of a 7 day trip from Canberra to Bourke, to Narrabri, to Armidale and back to Canberra. The main goal (apart from having a break from working from home) is to collect counties, and see some of NSW I haven't been to before. Cache easily found. TFTC.

Quick find after the climb up from the valley. This did give time for three heavily loaded semi trailers to pass us. It was quite impressive listening to them climb up the road to the top. So much power . Cache OK
Travelling from scone to the ACT, we were hustling but I managed to pick up a cache or 2, this being one. Love this region, Tftc
Found this just sitting on the drowns like rubbish. We tucked it away in what we hope is the right place.
Got this one on our way to Lithgow great to have a few geocaching stops. Thanks
Found during a road trip from Brisbane to Adelaide with five days travelling and four overnight stops, via Ballina, Armidale, Tamworth (staying overnight), Bylong, Sofala, Bathurst (staying overnight), Cowra, Young, Cootamundra, Junee, Wodonga (staying overnight), Echuca (staying overnight), Kerang, Ouyen, Pinnaroo and on to Adelaide. With limited time for stops along the way , we targeted one or two caches in each of the LGA's we traversed, and a few extras at the overnight stops to boost the tally. Thanks for the cache squirrels0291!
19,304. Found during a weekend caching meander with minniek and GLISS!, and an awesome time was had.
After packing up camp we headed back to where we got to yesterday to continue through our list of must do caches. This was the next one. A nice quick park and find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks squirrels0291 !!

We're on the road to Mudgee today for a weekend caching and to attend a Ceilidh in the Country. We left Newcastle in pouring rain with our fingers crossed, luckily the rain had dissipated apart from a few spits by the time we'd passed Singleton, so it turned into a beaut day caching, with 14 finds, 1 trig and 2 DNFs....
Weird - we parked maybe 5m from the cache, and then watched the GPS cart us 150m down the road and wanted us to descend a dicey slope. I thought this was fishy Garmin, so rebooted the device and walked back to the car, grabbing the cache on our return. This is getting more frequent, I think it's time for a new GPSr! I'm glad it happened here and not down the road at Babys Feet, we would have been in strife then.....

As we ventured north we stopped to find caches, stopping where we found suitable with a caravan in tow. We had a few of the RLT series to complete & a few caches in the small towns we passed through.
Thanks for placing this cache squirrels0291

A quick find after our DNF up the road. When we parked across the road, I saw a sign for the ferngully and remembered that we'd walked down there for a cache on our last visit to this area.
Thanks

After the DNF down the road at Baby Feet Cave it was nice to bounce back with a nice easy cache. Yes, we knew where to look. Thanks
