Cache Check -
This one is tricky to get to at the best of times due to council being slack with mowing.
I managed to get to GZ, and having previously found this cache I couldn't find.
I will retry again, if not I will redo it.

Yes, the log, but which log? And which part of which log? Why must there be so many logs? So many farmer friends and other sticky seeds and vines. My time caching today is a most done, aching feet winning the battle over my need to find the cache, even though I have spare logs at hand to replace the soggy log held here.
It seems the council have not just cut the scrub but sprayed the weeds as well this should make for an easier find today, alas it was not a find for me to make.

found 15.10.20. Couldn’t find it last week - brought my son and his girlfriend with me this time and my son found it nearly straight away! Thanks wraacie for the hide
Found this one today! Forgot pen but here’s a photo of log as evidence until I return to sign officially.

I've had My eye on this cache for a while but due to the shrubs being so high and difficult to walk through, plus the real possibility of treading on a snake, I wasn't game enough to brave the shrubbery.
As luck or fate would have it I was out on one of my walks and was passing by. Noticing the shrub had been freshly cut, I took this as an opportunity to go off the beaten track.
GPS lead me to the wrong end but thankfully the hint reassured me I was looking at the right landmark.

Is there a category for Not Going There? Muggle friend was keen, until I pointed to a sign saying Snake Territory. Off to the next.
Good hiding place, although again, as Jim&Nic said, was really wet. However, still a good find! Lots of caterpillars though...
My friend and I were searching for quite a bit. The clue helped out a lot and eventually we found it! The scroll inside is Soggy though and all of the ink is wet
Out today for a few local ones that I missed or have gone down since I was out this way last. 13 for the day. TFTC

Lots of hairy caterpillars, farmer's friends, and frustrated children but found at the end. Tftc
A nice easy park and grab on a cool, fine morning.
Only one muggle spotted while i was at the GZ and he jogged past without stopping.
Unfortunately as the previous finder noted the log is damp and also full. A new log is required and i currently dont have a replacement on me.
Thanks.

Driving pass so thought would have a go. Arrived GZ and there were logs a plenty, searched for a while, but time ran out without success, move on to try another. One for a return visit.
Geobiking day around the Pemulwuy park. Very nice and quiet cycle way.
Quick found.

This was the sixth of 9 finds for the day. After finding ‘Pemulwuy Power Trail #10’, I drove to this cache, and managed to park in the street. I was pleasantly surprised as I haven’t needed to parallel park on this side of the road before. I approached GZ and then realised I could be here for quite some time investigating all the likely hiding spots. It was eventually the case of just about giving up but checking one last place that revealed the cache. SL. TFTC.

I had time to find a few caches this morning before I had to head to the airport and home. I had some breakfast in the nearby shops then went for a walk around the power trail and associated caches. It was a bit hit and miss as a few of them were either too hard to find or were missing. Apologies for the cut and paste logs, I'll mention anything that stood out for me if I can. TFTC, Biggles.
Setting out today, Ms Atalanta and I went to the western area known as Pemulwuy.
Pemulwuy was an aboriginal man born around 1750 in the area of Botany Bay in New South Wales. He is noted for his resistance to the European settlement of Australia which began with the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788. He is believed to have been a member of the Bidjigal (Bediagal) clan of the Eora people.

On a walk through Pemulwuy and managed to find this while making my way through the northern part of the park. Thanks very much for the hide. ONWARD!
Walked along the path and then made our way to GZ trying avoid the farmer's friends. The cache was found quickly and easily. The log was full but still managed to squeeze our names on the log and then the cache was replaced as found. Thank you wraacie for placing this cache.
wraacie I found your cache Pemulwuy Power Trail #2 on 15/7/18, 11:24 am. This is my find 2018 and find # 2 today. The hint gives it away. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
Returning to Pemulwuy to turn some frowns upside down. When we visited the Power Trail in February there were a few muggled caches. It's a cool, clear Saturday - perfect for geocaching. Oddly enough we think we found the original rather than the replaced container. How did we miss it last time? Lots of farmer's friends here. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Ok cachin' pants are on! We just found the old and new cache containers here. Found the old one first and thought the last found found date was odd so searched on to find. the new one. Signed both logs and sent a msg to the CO.

Our first opportunity for a day of geocaching for the Hidden Creatures souvenir challenge promotion. Lovely sunny weather, good friends and some lovely grub gave us some smilies.

We started the power trail here as we knew we would get #1 when we stopped for lunch. Geowife set off to look for the cache while geokids were more interested in sleeping or videos on the phone.

Needed a few more steps & some caches for the souvenirs. I had cache blindness on this the last time. Glad to turn my frown into a smiley. TFTC
Second time lucky with this one I was sure we checked this spot last time as well. Anyway today was a quick find. TFTC.
Deciding I needed to pull my finger out for this year if I wanted to average one find a day coincided nicely with this lovely winter's day and the early days of the Hidden Creatures promotion. So, geoboyfriend and I decided to target some caches around Pemulway today.
This was our second for the day and we both managed to avoid the majority of the farmer's friends here as a kookaburra laughed at us trying to do so. It was as I was signing this log that I realised my bag of geocaching assisting tools remained in the car, back at the shopping centre. Oops.

Headed in the wrong direction right through the field of farmer's friends. Then realised my blunder. Soon CIH. Signed and returned. TFTC
Found it reasonably quickly then spent 10 mins pulling all the farmer’s friends out of my clothes.
cache and log in good condition. cashe is covered and you want to start searching while stumped .
Short walk from home so came back after it was too dark last night. No luck but hundreds of nettles stuck to me.
FTF blank log, ah fresh sheet. Technically your right with the clue but not quite as where I thought it’d be, thanks wraccie

Our 2nd cache fir the day and already we have a DNF. Plus heaps of farmer's friends. Such is caching. Thanks anyway.
Wanting to cache but not wanting any more numbers before my 2000th find at the mega next week I have done a very overdue maintenance run on all my caches.
This one has been replaced and ready to be found.

Out and about on a Sat morn with karennicole and thereimer. We were pretty successful on the trail plus a couple of extra ones, but had to add a few DNF's.
Parked the car at Woolies and returned just before the 3 hour parking limit was up, including tackling 17 caches, bumping into fellow cachers and walking close to 6km.
Looked all over, under, and in this one, bat alas, a DNF.
Thanks for the series wraacie

Saturday morning caching with blundobusters and karennicole but we came up empty on this one.
Family caching day with Blundo Busters and thereimer on a Saturday morning. We searched and searched but couldn't find it. Did find lots of prickles though. Thanks wraacie.
In Pemulwuy in a hot Saturday for geocaching and the PPT. No luck for us here. Many places to look and lots of stickers but no cache for us. Will keep watching. Cheers... Gaztek
A beautiful day
We've taken a nice walk in this beautiful park in Pemulwuy today and have also found this cache
Thank you for the nice round

100% success so far along the Pemulwuy trail, but this one beat us ! Looked in all the obvious places as the others along the trail had all been OK to find (rated 1.5), thanks to some generous clues. We spent a lot of time here and even returned later in the day, but no luck. Has it been muggled ????
We spent more time here than is normally warranted by a D1.5. We did find the most recent finders’ (MacsieLetunechi) calling card in a log but that's not enough to claim a find .
After almost putting this one in the too hard basket just as we were leaving I checked the first place I looked one more time but more thoroughly and there is was mocking us this whole time. Watching us go from log to log like nimble cats.
Well now that was sneaky. Found it laying on the ground, thinking it has fallen down from it’s hidy hole. So I placed it back in where I thought it should be. TFTCM

Located at 9:41pm. Wow, that was a sneaky, sneaky hide. I was worried I would be here all night, thankfully I espied the cache after a short-ish search and signed the log. Спасибо! תודה! L’chaim! TFTC!
Very tricky. Put my gear down right next to the cacge the spent 20mins searching.Resorted to a PAF who made me look straight at it. Dohhh!

After finding Pemulwuy Power Trail #1 I drove over here to start my walk.
When I first started working I was posted to this area. I really can't remember what was around here then, probably just more of the bushland around this waterway. It looks like a pleasant area now, but the houses are so big, and close to each other, and no outside space.
Once the GPS powered up and settled the co-ordinates were good and the hint helped make a quick find. Two Purple Swamphens seemed very interested in what I was checking out and moved in for a look once I'd walked away.
TFTC # 2287, 2nd for Boxing Day.

Got out this morning to pick up some caches before heading off to attend a family function for the rest of the day. We wanted to finish off the caches in this series. Seeing that this one seemed to have given quite a lot of grief to others, we had previously sought some idea of what to expect and a nudge in the right direction made finding it so much easier.
It was much trickier and more well hidden that the others, but with the extra info we soon had cache in hand. The job was soon done and the container was carefully hidden again in its hidey hole. Thanks to Wraacie for this series, which is now complete.

After seeing the DNFs thought I would check this out park about 10m away, way to hot to park further than that. As I approached I could see the cache. So tucked away so it still could be spotted but not from as far away as I spotted it. Maybe the Diff could be higher than 1.5
This was the first cache I looked for today but gave up after 15 min. Sent out a request for a hint and it came back half way around the loop. Now that I've completed the loop and sorted out some problems I had with the first few caches for the day, returned here armed with a little bit of extra knowledge. Temps were over 36 deg by this stage and after checking a few spots, I gave up needing a cold drink much more than a smiley here. Unfortunately have to add my name to the list of DNFs

With a d1.5 this should be an easy find. Not a list of dnf and other surrounding caches having more then this one. Tune for an owner check
Tracked over from the eastern burbs to tackle the Pemulwuy Power Trail and the three others suggested by the CO. Probably could have chosen a cooler day but for the most part I was the only one on the trail. I started at the first cache and then followed the numbers. Here I donned the gloves and plunged into every hollow log while dodging the thistles. Unfortunately I came up empty handed. TFTC.
Another episode of "Good Times with Pete and Ris" was recorded here on Periscope. This is the last cache for me on the power trail, I have really appreciated having all these caches so close to work especially while I was working 2 jobs. Now Pete and I will have to travel out a bit further for our bi-weekly get together. Wouldn't say this was a pleasant find, prickly plants, mozzies and just grotty and we needed a PAF but happy to have another cache on my streak. SL #3367 on streak day #1967 TFTC
This was the toughest one to start this PT. This one harder the the ratings, that’s for sure. Tftc.
OCW Rodney1210. Our first attempt at this one and we spent too much time here and were unsuccessful. We had to PAF for this one. Armed with a hint for our second attempt, I made a quick find and stood there scratching my head wondering how I’d missed this one on our first attempt! Very sneaky hide! TFTC!
