Checked it out, as others have said, no luck for us here. Coongoola & Geodog did not find your cache today, 21 May 2021 4:07 pm , while enjoying another day out adding to our tally. TFTC ScattsMadhouse
Dayboro trip. Day 7. Another drive day, but with a difference. I traveled from Casino to Dayboro, via Warwick and Toowoomba. The stop in Toowoomba was aborted as the lockdown was terminated early and everyone else moved on, so I followed. Otherwise a fun day with three adventure lab sets done and some nice Queensland Freeways traveled. The new road down from Toowoomba is fantastic.
I spent way too long looking here before I checked the logs and saw the other DNFs.
Thanks.

My work announced recently that every employee would receive a wellbeing day. This was in the spirit of recuperation and mental health after the year of COVID. It was well received and I spent some time thinking about how I would like to spend it. I settled on a day exploring in Northern NSW. Luckily I was accompanied by my lovely eldest daughter. So the day turned out to be really special.
We intended to grab a cache at the boarder crossing, but there was a police station set-up to manage the COVID restrictions. So we sailed on past down to Woodenbong. We grabbed some cold drinks and wandered over to this location for a look-see and a cache. Someone had pushed the little blighter out of reach which made things challenging.

Accidentally logged a dnf from Santa's hub. Fat fingers . Nice info board. Tftc
Found at 12:45 PM GAFF1.
Just as well this is a quite little town with not many muggles about. Otherwise we would have been very obvious as we spotted and extracted the container.
We are staying at Urbanville and there is a nice camp here, but no facilities except for nice fireplaces.
Thanks ScattsMadhouse.

Little Covid catch up with a nice little cache not far from our picnic table
TFTC! Passing through town and decided to stop here!I’ve been through Woodenbong, I don’t know how many times, but never stopped. So my first Woodenbong cache find!
After some tense water adventures yesterday we spend the night in NSW and took the scenic route home.
Having the drive home mapped out, I still had a quick look at the wonders of the region
Thank you ScattsMadhouse for this cache

Found the cache. Also found the Yowie. See photo attached. We were just about to sign the log when we were engaged in conversation by one of the locals. He was just about to “set up” the local hall for Australia Day celebrations tomorrow. He was a quintessential cattle farmer of the area and was happy to discuss everything from the recent fire events, the amount of rainfall recently, the excavation of a lot of dams in the area I preparation of the coming rain (fingers crossed), the best way to manage the forests and national parks in the future and the best spots to camp. He was a beautiful, intelligent and community minded soul. I’m calling him Wes from Woodenbong. (I don’t know his real name). We spent 15-20 minutes “having a good old fashioned chat” before we had to excuse ourselves to continue our journey. What a great find. And I’m not just talking about the cache. People are amazing aren’t they? Love this town. We will we back. Signed log. Took nothing. Left a peg.
I did 7 zigzag laps of all the things on this corner, stumped as to where it could be then I noticed a discrepancy in something, ah huh there it is! sneaky spot that is! All is good here and added a NEW pathtag for the next finder.
After a cooler start to the day, which was very enjoyable, the road travel and the cache hunting continued with ilook4geo. It was a successful day, as we had only chosen a few along the route to look for to break the trip. Looking from the right angle showed where the cache was hiding. The log here was signed with two more lots of initials before all was put back into place. Thanks go to ScattsMadhouse for putting this cache into play.
The day rapidy heated up after a cool start. We found some caches, along with goingplaces2, while going along some country roads. Added some more smilies to the map after finding and signing logs. TFTC.
This was find number 416 for TeamEwart at 10:54:20 am on 28 December 2019.
A quick easy find while out for a picnic.
Thanks for the cache ScattsMadhouse .

What is on in Woodenbong? Today there's nothing, with 35 odd degree summer heat keeping everyone tucked up inside, it was truly a ghost town.
Which allowed plenty of geocaching This one was quickly found in good condition.
Cheers

We were here this weekend to remember a beautiful Woodenbong couple and this place will never be the same without them.
I knew where this cache would be
But when I turned up a crowd was gathering around GZ [:o]
Something big is happening in towne this morning,
and it starts in 20 minutes.
So I wandered off for 20 minutes and found a couple of caches
Back at GZ the crowd had disappeared inside the hall.
And apart from the inevitable stragglers hurrying past,
and the mechanic fixing whatever was wrong with the fire-truck,
I was alone at GZ
A very quick find was made.
Cache back in place,
and I was off to the bridge for some fishing
I was angling to find the cache hidden there too !!
TFTC in this Progressive towne [^]

I got lucky with this one too. It was in the first place I checked! Thanks ScattsMadhouse!
I’m in Woodenbong for the dirt bike event, took a while to find - I’m out of practice !
TFTC. We had decided to stay another night in Woodenbong, mainly to do some more caches about town. We are in no hurry to get anywhere. After a trip out to the Qld border we headed back in to town. To complete the caches we had not attempted yesterday.
We had a quick look here yesterday, but nearby painting activity meant that a thorough search was not possible. Nobody about this morning.

A few caches on the way to Grandmas house on Good Friday with WillPunkey and Scoob
Willpunkey grabbed it while a couple of muggles were only metres away
Thanks ScattsMadhouse

Now i know wots on in woodenbong. This is IMPOSsIBLE to retrieve without arousing outside interest!
Checking out what is on in Woodenbong we spotted a container that looked very familiar, on closer inspection we had the container in hand and our name on the log. SL TFTC
Passing through the town, we picked up three caches. What a pleasant town. tftc.
Felt like looking for a few caches, so put my geodog Scruffy in the car and headed to the Rathdowney area for the day.
All Good .. TFTC ..

Turns out there's quite a lot to do around woodenbong. I had no idea there were so many national parks nearby! Gives me yet another reason to come back! Thanks scattsmadhouse for a quickish find.
Out on a drive from brisbane. Found by the youngest. Gotta go down like a clown for this one. Cache is about 5m out. Tftc watch out for yowies
Our fist in town and our first where after quite a search we reverted to PAF - when given the nudge - you then remember the other hides you have done that were similar. Thanks SMH. Enjoy the drive to Woodenbong and it's great you have put these out with the support of your community - look forward to you placing more in your lovely area.
We nearly walked away from this one, but it was He-Squirrel’s persistence and gut instinct that eventually led to its find, as it wasn’t at its namesake and ended up being 5m off. Glad we got it though, as I was convinced it was gone.
Well, this one required a bit of stealth and a decoy to collect the prize !! all good in the end!!! Thanks ScattsMadhouse
we took a quick survey, hmm no but another bit of look turned up the cache. Nice one. TFTC
Having ducked into the cafe opposite for a nice coffee whilst waiting for the rain to stop, we then made our way over the road and Mr.Herbz made the find. TFTC.
2nd cache to find here in Woodenbong after making a call to Santa. Quick find here another type of cache to show my travelling companion. I did not realise how new this cache was. Good to get in early for once and there was not a soul around to get muggled. Did just 3 caches here on our way to Brooklyn Farm to camp. Saved some for next time in the area. Tftc
It is the week of the GIFF. Geocaching International Film Festival. [^]
I am heading to Lismore for the next viewing of the GIFF films at the event there tonight.
As I have all day to travel to Lismore I can find a few caches along the way.
I parked the van close by and made the find after a short search. [^]
Now onto the next cache.
Thanks for he cache.

Well it wasn't quite Queen St here but still had to use quite a bit of stealth here this morning. Thought I was seeing fellow cachers as there were a few groups of people wandering around with eyes fixed on a phone screen. They were all pokemon go players. I can see why its so dangerous, staring so intently at the screen n missing everything around them. Not like us Geocachers! TFTC
What better a way to spend the afternoon than a drive to Woodenbong, this was where I parked and walked to the telephone box,old house, bridge and back, passing by many things that are in town.At this one, have noticed the Yowie here many times as we have driven past,at GZ.thank goodness it was an easy one.TFTC.
Getting in late we decided to see which of the hides we could do at night. This one was first and with no muggles around we made a quick find complete with a blank log to claim **FTF**. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
